Starbucks in Hamilton

“I like this location.

The workers are really nice, one time I went there, I ordered my stuff and a minute later one of the women there told me that the sandwich I ordered wasn't actually available. She was very apologetic and helped me settle the issue immediately. Everything else went perfectly fine.

It's a small location but I usually go on the weekend and have never had an issue finding seating. I really like that this location actually puts effort into making sure that people who are sitting outside have something else to look at other than a road or parking lot. The flowers and plants are very nice and I wish more coffee shops/cafes did this.

My only complaint is that the chairs outside in the patio area are not very comfortable. They're metal and my lower back gets sore pretty quickly, no matter what I do. There are some far more comfortable seats outside by the side but you're right by where the cars are which undermines my previous highlight. If this changed, I would give this location 5 stars.“

“I have been coming to this location for about 4 years now and the time has come to finally let the city know just how fantastic the staff here are.

I want to begin this with a expansive thank you to Caspian, Ayan, Duncan, Monica, Aiden, Shea, Shy, and the rest for being such a colossal start to my days.

These people not only work hard at this Starbucks location, but they go far above when it comes to being a presence to the customers they are in service of. Their treatment of others is tantamount to the products they serve.

Never in my life would I have thought I would have such a collective of people be the reason I visited an establishment, but here we are.

There aren't enough rating stars to give this crew to rate them, but a living wage would be an excellent start.“

I visited a week or so ago and I asked for a Venti Caramel Machiotto without whip. They were swamped but everyone was pleasant and as he said he was making mine I saw him grab the whip and we had a quick OH NO moment. He offered to make me a brand new one - it was perfect and although they are a busy location the staff is always smiling and having fun - as they say "it's just coffee!"“

“As a regular customer, I often have Jess prepare my early morning coffee. She is welcoming and always giving off such a good vibe to start off my day. I enjoy coming to this location and my coffee is hot and fresh. I highly recommend Jess in the morning to start your day, can't go wrong there“

“Everyone goes to this location lol there is almost always busy ! A lot of studies and peole go grap coffee or pastors and chill and do school assignments etc ! Love love love this Starbucks !my friend loves their dragon fruit lemonade and I so do it !“

“This is a good location to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. There isn't a ton of seating and it's one of the busier locations, so it isn't a place I'd sit down and stay at for a while.The staff are great! Always very helpful and very polite. For what the job is and how much they make, they're easily the best part of this location.The coffee is as good as any other Starbucks location, better in some cases. The food is fine. If you've been to a Starbucks before you'll get what you're looking for. There are cafes around that serve better coffee for less, but if you want something fun and tasty there's nothing wrong with Starbucks.“

“Standard Starbucks chain in terms of menu and quality. The drinks are always good. My favorite is the gingerbread oat chai when it’s in season and the birthday cake pops. Order is always accurately made and fresh. Location is convenient enough although the street is busy and so clogged with traffic due to construction recently. I always use the drive thru since it’s on my way in/out of Hamilton. Definitely easier to utilize than the Starbucks in the metro. You do need to be cautious in the plaza because it’s hard for parking cars to see other vehicles. Also of note is you have to pull out of the drive thru very carefully because it exits onto a busy sidewalk and you’re blind to the pedestrians. It’s right across the street from First Ontario Center so the parking can be difficult during events, the drive thru is in the parking lot, it’s easy to miss the turn to enter. The staff are always super sweet and almost always have something nice to say that really brightens my day. The wait can be a bit long during peak times but isn’t too bad otherwise.“
