“On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, I had lunch at the Mandarin Brampton West Restaurant (Fletchers Creek), with three of my senior friends. The restaurant was packed with celebrating, graduating students. We did not have a reservation, but they graciously accommodated us. Their chairs are low and have no arm rests. I use a walker as I have a back problem which results in mobility restrictions and once seated in the chair, was unable to stand up without considerable effort. When our table’s server noticed this, she tried to find a more suitable chair for me. The Managing Partner, Liana Zheng, got personally involved and fetched a chair with arms and a higher seat, for me to use! Later, when I used the clean, well-appointed, accessible washroom, a staff member discretely, stood outside to ensure that I was not in need of any assistance. The staff’s concentrated efforts to help a disabled old lady, was really appreciated! Even though they were so busy, they treated me with respect and like a valued customer not a burden. Bless them all! The reason we go to the Mandarin is because of the consistently delicious, good quality and variety of their buffet food. From now on, I will go there also because of how well I was treated. I highly recommend this restaurant to all seniors!“

We love that they have dimsum all day promo. We like that this place exists in Brampton as we do not have to go to Mississauga or Big T to get dimsum. I was surprised that their siomai was really tasty. My hubby said it is one of the best he has tasted. I also like their pork soup dumplings; very flavourful but I find the wrapper thick. The curry on the Singaporean noodles is not too overpowering which we liked. The steamed spareribs is a bit fatty and a bit gamey. Will definitely be back. I hope they add more in their dimsum menu.“

“Authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced dim sum. Beef Ho Fun and Shanghai Noodles are also very good. The Dim Sum is the real star. You may have to park a block away but it is worth it!“

“It was our first time trying Sun Chinese cuisine and it definitely won’t be our last. When we walked in we were hit with the aroma of a pleasant broth. The menu is limited but that’s what makes everything so perfectly delicious. When we were seated we could see through the kitchen window that the noodles they were using in the dishes were freshly made by hand. We ordered lamb skewers and braised beef noodles (for which I recommend picking the thin noodles). The meat in the broth was very tender and juicy, so full of flavor. Also, the staff was very friendly and kind and the service was very fast. Add this spot on your must visit list!!“

“This place is an absolute jackpot of a find. The food is great, the wait times weren't too bad, and the prices are good too. I really feel like I got my money's worth with this place. Can't say enough good things, people. Try it! You'll see what I mean.“

“This is my go-to chinese spot for classic Westernized chinese food (General Tso, Sweet & Sour chicken, etc). If you love hot and sour soup, theirs is CONSISTENTLY good with a decent amount of tofu, mushrooms, and the spice is med-hot.

Their sweet and sour chicken is made different than other places but I still enjoy it.

For lunch, you can’t go wrong with the $9.50 special that comes with rice, meat and a drink OR egg roll. So hard to come by a $10 and less meal for lunch nowadays.

The staff is always very kind and I’ve never had any issues with them. Also, if you’re ordering food over $48, bring cash and you get a free item (get the cream cheese wontons!)“

“I ordered the spicy fish and it blew me away. The fish pieces were wonderfully cooked—tender on the inside with a great coating that soaked up all that rich, spicy sauce. Love the generous amount of diced onions, chili flakes, and green onions that give it such a flavorful punch. If you like a dish with some real kick and amazing flavor depth, this is it. Will definitely be ordering this again!

“Was thinking about taking the fam (2 adults, 2 kids under 12) to the mandarin for dinner. Because the weather I was convinced to order take out instead.

We tried Yong's for the first time. I set my limit at $100 as that was still 50 bucks less than mandarin would've cost us. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

The menu was stacked with options. I chose my mandarin favourites and the 2 items the kids actually eat.. So we got a ton of food, and I'll have lunches for days. The flavour was on point for everything and the portions were excellent.

Pepper steak slices were a bit big for my liking but the flavour was fantastic.

Will definitely be back for our next 'take out' family dinner night.

“Had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Ginsoy! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

The chicken steamed dumplings were tender, juicy, and incredibly delicious. The hot and sour soup had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess—comforting and full of flavor. We also tried the Ginsoy Special, which truly lived up to its name, and the Szechuan dish had just the right amount of heat and bold taste. The shrimp fried rice was loaded with shrimp, perfectly seasoned, and complemented everything else beautifully.

Honestly, everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food and consistency in flavors made this a memorable meal. “It's a hidden gem! We accidentally ended up there just for hot and sour soup and it was too delicious. A medium portion was enough for 4 people, and the amount of chicken and egg in the soup was really good. We then ordered chicken lollipops, which were extremely good as well – well-cooked and spiced. We rarely get this type of lollipop chicken, as sometimes it gets chewy or hard, but this was too good. We ended up going back again the next day and re-ordered with chicken fried rice, which was flavorful as well. They give complimentary spring rolls. Highly recommended.“

“I’ve been ordering from Red Chillie for quite a while now, and it’s easily one of my favourite Chinese takeout spots in Oakville. Around Chinese New Year, the place feels extra special. The restaurant is decorated with festive red decorations that really bring New Year spirit to life. One detail I always love is the adorable drawings on the table by the owner’s kid,which add such a warm, family vibe that makes the place feel very genuine and welcoming!
Everything is consistently tasty. My go-to order usually includes the Cantonese Chow Mein, the Dry Vancouver Wings, and any kinds of fried rice. The noodles always classic and comforting. The wings are super flavourful and perfectly cooked, and the fried rice always hits the spot.

“Today I got a very good experience in Mr dumpling. We asked for some questions about Chinese food and the favour. They answered us with patience and we decided to dine in. We didn't know they are take out restaurants so we didn't asked for a bag to go. After we had our meal the portion is big btw, we found we couldn't eat it up. “Dragon House has been a staple Chinese takeout food place for me since I moved to Oakville last year.
Today, they absolutely knocked it out of the park and I just had to leave a review.
I ordered Vegetable Fried Rice, Garlic Brocolli, Kung Pao Vegetables and Tofu in black bean sauce (my favorite!).
As a vegetarian, good veggie options at Chinese restaurants are hard to find but this place offers so many options.

I'm surprised that they have a low rating on Google which I absolutely do not think that they deserve. The food is always fresh, flavorful and the portion sizes are huge! Great value for your money! This place is certainly a 10/10!“
