Most times I find that at other locations of New York Fries, they don't put enough cheese so by the time you get to the bottom there's usually just plain fries with very little cheese but when Asmit made mine every single fry had cheese on it! It really hit the spot and I came back just to compliment her because it was that good! ? Thank you!!!“

“My friend brought me to this place saying this is the “best wings place”…and the wings here are really good but by far the best thing about this place is Sam and his passion for a real hockey franchise that is on full display at that restaurant. It’s a small place but provides really good service and a great atmosphere for families and hockey fans alike. The only downside during my visit was the crème brûlée, it was the worst one I have ever had with chunky consistency but otherwise everything else was good. I will definitely be coming back here for more wings and fun!“

“It seems that the atmosphere has changed compared to a few years ago. Not sure if the management has changed or what but it was so great to see the place filled with people. The food and the service was great! We were greeted by a lovely young lady as soon as we entered. DIP who served us was extremely lovely to have. Very attentive and the food was great.“

“I ordered salad and a bottle of alcohol for delivery. After waiting for almost an hour (which was fine), Skip the Dishes arrived and there was no bottle, just a salad. The driver nor I was made aware until I check the bag. The driver then called Gabby's to inquire why he was not notified he was delivering a partial order, he was dismissed and told to give me the phone. The young lady (Gabby's employee) then proceeded to convey the bottle was not available and that I'd have to attempt a refund through Skip the Dishes, not Gabby's. She was quite dismissive and closed with a very sarcastic "have a nice evening" and hung up.Needless to say, Gabby's on Eglinton is off-limits to me and my family.Update:David, the owner, arrived at my doorstep to personally deliver my order.I'm appreciative of this, he has renewed my faith in humanity (and Gabby's). “We recently visited Grill Gate and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the cheeseburger and the Philly steak Caesar salad, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Not only was the burger impressively large, but the salad was equally satisfying. The coated fries were crispy and delicious,you should taste it, While the prices are a bit higher compared to other burger joints, the portions definitely make it worth the expense. Grill Gate has easily made it into my top three burger spots, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's no wonder they have such a high rating on Google Maps“

“I was hesistant to come here, with all the options nearby but for convinience we came as we were staying at the hotel. It was our daughter’s 5th birthday and we’re coming for the night to do some local attractions. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious!. I had the chicken curry and it was a fusion type curry, great pieces of broccoli, carrot, zucchini. My husband had the pork chop and it was also excellent. The vegetables were so tasty and chop was cooked perfectly. Kids meals were also very good! We tried their burger and chicken strips. I’d definitely recommend. We all had why we were craving and left very satisfied :)Kid-friendliness: We had a booth and it was not too busy, ate around 6pm on a Saturday evening.“
