“Dine in for dinner with my friend today and this place never fails to satisfy me. Great food, excellent service from lady at reception and Charles, as our server.

It's been an honor to meet the kind-hearted owner Lucy and family. They were busy preparing for their annual company party but she spends time to chat with us sharing her healthy recipes and gave us complimentary dessert from the house!

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. At that point my husband and I were getting ready to walk out until Jen came over, she apologized for the delay and service. She gave us the BEST service ever. She went above and beyond ! Thank you JEN you made our experience at Turtle Jack GREAT!“

“Wow! We visited just this past weekend.
We were seated right next to the windows with an incredible view. It was not busy thanks to off season and we arrived right as dinner service was seating.
Our waiter was so lovely! I noticed him watching as our food was being plated & he immediately delivered probably one of my favourite meals to date.
The braised beef was expertly cooked, perfectly seasoned (not too much but just enough) with an amazing portion size, the mashed potato was the perfect texture & flavour, & the veg was cooked well & in large quantity. Hats off to the kitchen.
Our drinks were also great.
We were very impressed with the menu (gluten free options that I actually wanted to eat) and we thought the pricing was extremely reasonable. I have paid that for a much less quality meal.

“Wow, this establishment is a far cry away from the pirate bar it used to be back five some odd years ago. We came here from Hamilton for a new years dinner. Had the place to ourselves, it was nice. A gentleman, by the name of Harmeet owns this establishment. Very friendly gentleman, very inviting, greeted us and told us about the food and displayed a passion for his food unlike any I've seen before. He makes most his food and all his sauces from scratch. Things like the fries and mozzarella sticks he gets in bulk, but he ensures a quality provider. The mozza sticks had that nice gooey stringy stretch to them. The fries were the first hint this meal was going to be good. Well seasoned and crunchy, done just right. My brother's girlfriend had them in a poutine and the serving was very generous, definitely fill you up to the max with one order. She was very happy with this dish. My brother had the parm chicken sandwich and I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was perfect, so juicy. The Nashville wasn't your traditional style sandwich (usually garnished with coleslaw, pickles, and tossed in Nashville sauce) it had the seasoning dry rubbed on, I think there was a sauce to it, but the chicken was so juicy it really didn't need much. It was topped with a slice cheddar, lettuce, onions, and I think there was tomato, but I'm not sure. It was so good it was gone before I had time to really analyze it lol. The key take away from this meal was my wifes chicken wings... Of anywhere we have ever had wings, these by far were the best we have ever had. The breading was thin and not overwhelming, good meat content too. Generous saucing (she got the honey hot), and they are also marinated to boot, absolutely phenomenal. Harneet has a skill for his homemade sauces, he let me try his dynamite sauce (which for most people I would say is at the top of their tolerance for hot sauce, he also has hotter), but the ballance of sweet to heat is perfect. I can not stay enough about how good this food was. The place doubles as a convenience store, so its very unassuming. This place is on the route for one of my favorite motorcycle routes, so I will be back 100%. Thank you for serving me, and the outstanding dining experience.“

“We had been warned about crazy prices in the resort but quite frankly were pleasantly surprised by barnwood. Server Alex was fantastic. Vqa wine very affordable. Salads were great. My steak was a little dry but we all enjoyed thoroughly our meal.“

“Harvey's is Harvey's, you know what you're getting. At this particular location, it is worth the review because it is always clean, the staff is unusually pleasant, and they seem happy. “My partner and I have been coming to this IHOP every weekend for about a month now, and we always have a great experience! This weekend our server, Brittney, was especially wonderful — super friendly, took the time to chat with us, and even gave us a nice local discount when she found out we’re from the area. The food is always great, and I can’t get enough of the tres leches pancakes.“

“The experience is great for the prices charged on a New Year’s Eve. Food options are good and tasty. The only caveat is about the service. We were serviced by 2 ladies and service level provided was completely different by each. The lady who interacted more was the worse, not at all friendly and rushed every step of the course. I may ask to be seated on a different “zone” if got the same waitress again.“
