“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“I had my graduation celebration here a few weeks ago and it was PERFECT. This place is so unassuming from the outside, which I love. After walking in a narrow restaurant, we stepped into the most magical oasis in the back. Beautifully decorated with great natural light, fairy lights and wonderfully kind staff creating the most cozy and welcoming environment. I couldn't have asked for anything more and the food was also delicious and promptly served. We especially loved the skewers and beet salad! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. As an influencer, I’m always chasing great food and vibes, and this spot nailed both.
Chef Deso personally presented each dish at the table, starting with their incredible bone marrow where are the Chef blow? Torch touch.

I asked Chef Deso to create something special for me, and he delivered a perfectly cooked steak paired with one of the most creamy, dreamy gnocchi I’ve had in Toronto. My date couldn’t stop raving about the Tuna and grilled octopus too.
What really stood out is that Chef runs the back of the house basically solo and with his wife, pouring so much heart into every plate and glass.
We did their dining menu special and honestly, for the quality and generosity, the price is ridiculously reasonable. I literally thought the price was per person, but it was per couple and I suggest this place to anyone that wants to take a date out for great food and beverages that’s affordable.
It felt like a true privilege to eat there.

“We tried Toast on Bloor and our breakfast was amazing. I had the breakfast buritto and it was large with beans eggs bacon rice and aocado. NIcely done and my husbands Toast 3 egg breakfast was excellent. The only concern is the noise level. It needs more wall covering to cut down on the noise level. This would be a concern for anyone wht a hearing issue.“

It was our first time and perhaps we were a bit confused & asking a bit too many questions, the first server/bartender seemed annoyed by us. He was dismissive and just left our table to get us "water" instead of helping us get a better understanding of certain things. No biggie. We then had a female server - omg - she made our night. She explained the different types of drinks & the tasting menu. She made recommendations. What an absolute breath of fresh air. Our mood changed immediately and we didnt feel like complete idiots. We heard this place just open a month ago, so might explain why the place wasn't too busy. Good for us, since we could sit by the cozy lounge area. I got the Avocado Toast, and my friend the Mediterranean Cauliflower. The Toast was super balanced and beautiful (and so much avocado!). The Cauliflower had a lot of components and was very filling. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“
