“This place is great. Been going here more years than I can count. The service, the food, the portions, the price -- it's been consistently good. I wouldn't pay attention to the low reviews because that hasn't been my experience, and it hasn't been the experience of anyone I know who comes here. Was literally here earlier in the week. The service is always great. The food quality is consistent, and consistently great. And the portions are always generous. There's a reason it's still around. And the hummus! The pita! People come from all over the city to get it. (Totally worth it)

Caveat: this is not a fancy, high attitude dining establishment. But it's comfortable, it's laid back, and the food ... I did say it was delicious right?“

The owner cut the meat fresh off the rotisserie, most shawarma shops pre cut their meats & have sit in a heating compartment which dries it out. Beef was amazing with extra beef fat on the rice, chicken was juicy. He gave me extra beef fat when I asked with no issues.

Pay cash and get a free drink. Support this family ran restaurant. The owner is so nice and warm. Welcoming & out going. Will 10000% return.

“Service is good and very fast. Food is amazing. I haven't had authentic Egyptian food before so I don't know how authentic it would be to an Egyptian person but it looked pretty authentic and tasted great.

Dine-in area is small, seats around 15 people max so reservation is recommended for guaranteed seating. We visited around noon, right after they opened and we didn't need a reservation.

The interior is nice, simple touches here and there that tie in really well with the theme. Highly recommended. Not cheap but not pricey at all“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

We were meet by the owner who was so kind, considerate and took it upon himself to make us a platter full of a variety of food. The meal started with appetizers followed by the platter. I will add something to this by saying that it doesn't have to be in your kitchen at home or by eating bland and boring food! I had the opportunity today to pass by and visit my old friend Johnny at his shawarma restaurant on Kennedy Road not far off the 401... @johnnysshawarma is consistently ranked in the top handful of shawarma restaurants in the city and I can honestly say that I've never had better shawarma anywhere (not even when visiting Israel!)... And that says a lot considering with my middle eastern roots (my Dad was from Egypt) this is one of my favorite foods as it's delicious as it is nutritious especially when given the option to swap out the starchy carbs like the insanely good rice and potatoes with equally amazing salads and dips... Make sure to stop by and grab a bite if you are heading anywhere East of the DVP off the 401 and let them know Andre sent you 💪💪💪“

“As an African, I’ve honestly had a hard time finding shawarma in Toronto that suits my taste. A lot of places are either too acidic, too bland, or just not what I’m used to. I was a bit hesitant to try Two Brothers at first, but I decided to give it a chance and I’m so glad I did.

I had the chicken shawarma, and from the very first bite, all my doubts disappeared. It was absolutely delicious and surprisingly close to the kind of shawarma we enjoy back home in Africa. The flavors were well balanced, tasty, and really satisfying.

If you’re African and looking for shawarma that feels familiar and matches our palate, I highly recommend this place. Definitely one of the best shawarma spots I’ve tried here. 5 stars!“
