“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I used to love pastries but I stopped after some time a few years ago. Saw this place and decided to try it and I have fallen in love. This is by far the best bakery I've gone too in Toronto, and It rightfully deserves the highest ratings it can earn.

The blueberry Danish is one of my favs, And I'm a sucker for their croissants. I would love to see a beef or chicken curry bun so I can try it since the current one is pork.“

“I ordered a cake for my anniversary this year from the vanilla bite. It was honestly perfect. I didn’t know what I wanted so when I asked for a recommendation saying that “I wanted something light and fluffy” and Dannah came through. She recommended her Japanese sponge cake turned strawberry shortcake. It was amazing. Definitely light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. You could taste the flavour of the cake, icing, and strawberries in a complementary way. We will definitely buy another cake from here on our next special occasion. Delivery handoff was perfect too, super professional. Sorry no pictures though… we were too excited to eat it.“

“We got a chance to visit Geste on a recent trip and were blown away. It's a quaint cafe that feels like a quick escape from the chaos of the city. We tried coffee, a grilled cheese sandwich, and their signature Basque cheesecake. Honestly, we loved everything we tried and will be back for sure!“

“I am from out of town and had breakfast here twice since it was so good. Amazing gluten free bagels loaded with creme cheese. Had Randy as my server the last two times I’ve been here and she is absolutely amazing! Definitely will come back anytime I am in the area.“

They offer a wide variety of baked goods, most of which are around two dollars each. If you happen to be passing by, I highly recommend stepping in for a look. “Delicious French pastries and brunch. I had the benny with smoked salmon and it was great, the eggs were perfectly runny and the croissant was flaky and buttery. Their salad comes with their own home made dressing which is also very yummy. I highly recommend trying their pastries and tarts as well, taking a couple home, they are so good! It’s worth the wait for a table.“

“I decided to try out this cute little cafe, I saw on my way home. I ordered the cinnamon roll, Weekend quiche, churro and cruffin. Overall, my favourite was the lemon Cruffin, everything else was good as well. I do wish I had asked for the quiche to be warmed. I ordered four items and the total came up to $22. In this economy. I consider that a good deal would highly recommend this café.“

If this place had a storefront, I would probably indulge in their butter croissants every day. Their croissants are ultra-light and crispy, with a flakiness like a shedding tree in autumn. The interior structure is a work of art, a perfect amount of airiness that somehow delivers a powerful punch of butteriness in each bite. Their kouign amann is equally addicting but with a spiral shape, that actually makes it more fun to savour its crisp bottom of caramelized sugar that's not too sweet.

Also got their Chausson aux Pommes - same buttery, flaky and light puff pastry, with a perfect amount of savoriness and strong butter aroma on it's own, and a beautiful golden brown colour. The apples were too soft imo and felt like it lacked cinnamon or any caramelization, but was decently tart and sweet and apple aroma, and the filling to pastry ratio was quite generous, although I would've preferred more pastry honestly to balance out the ratios because all you can taste is apple in some bites.“

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“
