Eating this was a real mess which detracted from the enjoyment, but I'd definitely give this place a go again. Service was good although it did take longer than expected for the sandwich, given that it was the middle of a quiet afternoon.“

“I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to Gagan and Daksh! From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, friendly, and super attentive. They took the time to explain the spice levels properly and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it.

The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned — but what really made the visit stand out was their customer service. They were patient, professional, and had such positive energy the whole time. It honestly made the whole experience better.

“I’ve been here at least 5 times already and it NEVER disappoints. My go-to order is the bulgogi pizza with the garlic dip (honestly the best dip I’ve ever tasted). The signature shrimpbul is packed with toppings, super filling and definitely spicy. The crazy chicken shrimp is probably my second favourite. Close to TMU, great service, clean and inviting! Highly recommended :)“

“Had such a great experience here! The service was incredibly friendly, fast, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were served by Angel, who was attentive and made sure everything was perfect.

We ordered the chicken wings and they were delicious. They were very crispy, flavourful, and fresh. I also really appreciated that they offer halal options, which made it an easy choice for us.

We went here for dinner on our way to the Leafs game and decided we'd celebrate my birthday as well they did not fail to make me feel very special and even brought us out a dessert. Given how busy it was in there (i think they were telling non reservations it's over an hour wait) I can't believe the speed of service! Our experience was amazing and we will definitely be coming again!! Also super convenient it's located right in the union station!!“

During my visit there was a Huge Line for that Free Chicken and I ordered the Reaper Sandwich which is made with Carolina Reaper Pepper and yes it sure is Spicy! Believe it or Not I ate the sandwich without having anything to drink and I sure felt like a Dragon On Fire Afterwards! Lol. Furthermore, in order to get your sandwich, You had to register on TikTok or Instagram and I did it through TikTok in which I recently opened up my account just to get the Hot Chicken Sandwich! “I visited with six friends and had a great time. Everything we ordered was delicious. Both the food and drinks were affordable, making it a perfect place to drink and hang out with friends. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and I would definitely come back!“

“This location consistently gives buckets with good size chicken pieces for the past 2 years. I usually get the 12 pcs bucket (order from the app) on weekends around lunch. Staff were friendly during my visit in Nov 2025. I've noticed the staff to change every few months.“

“Yesterday was my very first time trying Chick N Joy. I decided to order home delivery. I have to say I'm surprised of the portion sizes, I wasn't expecting it to be so much. I like that the meals are priced right for the portion. I really enjoyed the golden crispy fries, and also the macaroni salad. I didn't enjoy the Homemade Butter Biscuit, it felt more like bread that was steamed, but otherwise tasted okay. I was looking for more of a tea biscuit texture. The chicken skin was very salty, but the chicken was ok (for the white meat), but as for the dark meat I didn't really enjoy it as if felt a little bit under cooked.“

They should consider mixing the serving up this in some of the other flavours they offer so that it’s a sample to try before ordering other items from the menu. Also love the cheese bowl idea, but it got too cold too fast. Other than that, so good and thank you!“
