In addition to restructuring their business to remain somewhat open but safe for themselves and their patrons, they’ve been a voice above the racial hate and injustice the world has been forced to finally confront. When things got too bad, both Becky and Ryan have been around to help ease the anxiety and despair to not only those in Toronto, but all the way down in the southwest USA (virtually of course). Even if they themselves are going through the same if not worse hell that we’re in. I hope to see my good friends again to talk and laugh over a well crafted drink, and not through the lens of a webcam.“

“One of the craziest bar experiences we've ever had! Was only going to go for one drink and a bit of food but somehow left after having multiple drinks and way too much food ahaha! Great experience, the manhattan was the greatest drink I've ever had. Just watch out with the manhattan, I still have some smoke left on my hand from the outside of the cup, not the biggest deal but it doesn't scrub off too well. Got our Lobster Rolls comped as well even though they only came out a couple minutes late, would've paid but they insisted it to be comped. Again what an experience, everyone needs to go here at least once in their life. Hits every sense.“

“I really liked this bar. At first I was skeptical because I’ve been to a bar like this before where you can tell the bar tender what you want that’s not off the menu and they make it for you. I’ve gotten some very wacky things before. However my friends and I ordered two rounds and both rounds and all drinks hit home. I was surprised that they had flavours like pandan and ube. My other friend gave them the flavour profile of “sweet and creamy” and she got a creamy lemon drink and it was great. One of my friends gave a prompt that was “curry” and his drink actually came with curry and a smoky taste. Overall I was quite impressed with this place. We had a great time and some really good drinks!“

“A nice Australian bar right by Bloor & Ossington. Their menu is small but everything they have on it is delicious, from cocktails to snacks. Don’t come looking for a full meal. Instead the menu offers comfort food to share or have alone, helping to absorb alcohol from those delicious cocktail treats.“

DRINKS: to me the drinks here is quite bold and have their characters. Not every drinks suit my taste, but it's still very fun to try their unique flavor combination.
• Nitro Colada: it's good but it has a little too much pineapple in it, making it very sour and not cery easy to drink.

• 11AM in Marseille: I couldn't taste much beewax in it as expected, but I love this more than the other drinks I had.

VIBE: weekend jazz performance. I create a very fun and chill vibe. I was just sit there enjoying the music and fell in love with this place.“

“DuPont 915 has been one of my fav secret spots in my neighborhood. I love it for the aesthetic interior, the unique curated drink menu, the DJ spinnin boogie bangers & the welcoming waiters. I’ve been told the food is decent but there aren’t many vegetarian options. They have small snacks to try which is nice with a drink. Sometimes they have chefs trying a new menu here so you get to try foods from Toronto chefs before anyone else!

This a great spot to visit with a small group. It’s a small spot so it can get packed if it’s busy. They have the best comfy seating too. I could relax all day. I like how it’s a cafe during the day and bar at night. The bathrooms were very clean as well. Definitely visit if you haven’t already!“

“Came in Saturday evening, seeing they were full 30 minutes after opening is a good sign. Had to be put on a waitlist, which was well worth it. The Steak and Caesar Salad stole the show for me. As for the fries they are okay, the mayo it came with is delicious. The boiled eggs were jammy and Dijon sauce were tasty. Overall I definitely be coming back to try the burger and soft serve.“

“Learned about this place from Too Good To Go app and decided to come here for lunch with a friend. It is a little hard to spot since it is hidden in a small street. We heard this place just open a month ago, so might explain why the place wasn't too busy. Good for us, since we could sit by the cozy lounge area. I got the Avocado Toast, and my friend the Mediterranean Cauliflower. The Toast was super balanced and beautiful (and so much avocado!). The Cauliflower had a lot of components and was very filling. We both agreed the food was 10/10. if you coming for Cocktail, would recommend the Amethyst and the Carribean Sour!“

“Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

“Found Almond Butterfly Bistro online after searching for a gluten free restaurant near princess of wales theatre. Attended for dinner and was so pleased with the service and the food! Although a little pricey, which is to be expected with gluten free foods, it was delicious and worth it! Only my 5 year old has celiac, but the rest of the family eats gluten and boasted about how delicious the food was and that they couldn’t even tell it was gluten free! Although they don’t have a kids menu, they have some kid friendly options like chicken fingers and Mac and cheese! Portions are a nice size though, so my youngest two were able to split the Mac n cheese and still have leftovers. Would recommend!“

It was clear they put a lot of thought into making each of them unique yet delicious. We tried multiple, and they all hit the mark, including my bf’s alcohol free bevys. And our server was great at making us feel welcome and come up with alcohol free options. My only recommendation would to be add an expansive dessert menu.

We had made prior reservations, but Unfortunately we were seated right beside the door and backing on to the window. It was very cold considering it was -21 outside. “The food at Koukla was absolutely delicious. It's a treat to eat fine Greek food, something that is very hard to find. We shared the roasted potatoes, feta cheese in phyllo with pomegranate tendrils and honey, and the mixed grill. The lamb ribs were to die for! For dessert, we had the burnt pistachio cheesecake. It was incredible! Our server was extremely attentive and very pleasant. All in all I can't wait to go back!“

“This is more than a cocktail bar, this is a little escape! The guest experience begins at the apothecary entrance and sets the tone that you're about to enter a secret passage. Great ambience, friendly service and the drinks were amazing. Le Parfum cocktail tasted like I went back in time to 1880s Paris. The smoked olives were delicious and abundant, and the staff surprised us with a candlelit crème brûlée to celebrate a birthday. That lemon lavender crème brûle was divine. My favourite part: the bill came in a little envelope sealed with melted pressed wax. A perfect touch to Prequel's Old World charm. Would definitely come back for a special occasion and experience it all over again!“
