In addition to restructuring their business to remain somewhat open but safe for themselves and their patrons, they’ve been a voice above the racial hate and injustice the world has been forced to finally confront. When things got too bad, both Becky and Ryan have been around to help ease the anxiety and despair to not only those in Toronto, but all the way down in the southwest USA (virtually of course). Even if they themselves are going through the same if not worse hell that we’re in. I hope to see my good friends again to talk and laugh over a well crafted drink, and not through the lens of a webcam.“

“We had a girls night at this bar and we all loved it! The drinks, the vibes, the aromas, and the decorations were exotic and built a different bar experience in heart of Queen street! The drinks we ordered were: Le Parfum, The Foreigner, Lavender&Lemon, and Cosmopolitan. We also ordered the Cheese and Charcuterie, Fries, and steak.
My friends surprised me for my Birthday with ordering Creme Brûlée which amazingly was so delicious! the staff were very nice and friendly!

Amazing cocktails menu with nice complexity of drinks. I enjoyed my Oh La Vouche and Pand'ora.

Mocktails also available as my plus one ordered her mocktails.

Really enjoy the vibes, atmosphere, it makes it cozy even it's snowing outside in Toronto. Perfect for date nights.

Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

“Learned about this place from Too Good To Go app and decided to come here for lunch with a friend. It is a little hard to spot since it is hidden in a small street. We heard this place just open a month ago, so might explain why the place wasn't too busy. Good for us, since we could sit by the cozy lounge area. I got the Avocado Toast, and my friend the Mediterranean Cauliflower. The Toast was super balanced and beautiful (and so much avocado!). The Cauliflower had a lot of components and was very filling. We both agreed the food was 10/10. if you coming for Cocktail, would recommend the Amethyst and the Carribean Sour!“

“Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

“recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely blown away by the quality of both the food and the drinks. Chef Chris Walsh has truly mastered the art of flavour every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into his menu.
But the real highlight of my evening was the espresso martini crafted by Glen, the bartender. It was hands-down the best I’ve ever had — smooth, rich, and perfectly chilled with just the right kick of espresso. Glen clearly knows his craft, he even took the time to explain the coffee blend he uses and how it complements the cocktail’s sweetness.
Between Chef Chris’s incredible food and Glen’s outstanding mixology, this place has easily become one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for top-notch dining and drinks in a warm, welcoming atmosphere!“

“Koukla had been on our list for a while, and we finally went yesterday for brunch. The food was good and tasty, and the service was pretty fast. It's not the biggest restaurant, but it's perfect if you're looking for something cozy. The ambiance was nice and not loud at all. We'll definitely come back.“

“Found Almond Butterfly Bistro online after searching for a gluten free restaurant near princess of wales theatre. Attended for dinner and was so pleased with the service and the food! Although a little pricey, which is to be expected with gluten free foods, it was delicious and worth it! Only my 5 year old has celiac, but the rest of the family eats gluten and boasted about how delicious the food was and that they couldn’t even tell it was gluten free! Although they don’t have a kids menu, they have some kid friendly options like chicken fingers and Mac and cheese! Portions are a nice size though, so my youngest two were able to split the Mac n cheese and still have leftovers. Would recommend!“

They have a 1 hour 15 minute seating limit and it’s pretty strict so better to have reservations and arrive on time. For birthdays they give a free shot!

“I suppose energetic is one way of describing the noise level. However, I would describe the music as blaring and overwhelming loud as was the overlay of diners basically yelling at each other in order to be heard. I could not have a conversation with my partner because I could not hear him even though he was less than three feet away. I consistently had to ask the waiter to repeat themselves. While the food and waiter were amazing, it is the noise level that made our dining experience uncomfortable and disappointing. We will not be returning. If we want blaring dance beat music, we will go to a dance club for that.“
