“A Hidden Gem for Brunch!!

I came here with 3 of my girlies that love brunch. Everything we ordered was fresh, light, and absolutely delicious.
We started with some drinks which were super affordable compared to other brunch places. The espresso martinis weren’t too sweet and had the perfect balance.

As for the dishes the standout for me was the smoked salmon toast. The combination of the eggs, fresh dill, and sliced salmon on top of toast was so yummy.

Service was nice and the place was cozy/bright. Highly recommend this spot for a girls’ brunch or casual date.“

“The large Michelin-recommended sign at the entrance certainly sets high expectations, and in many ways, the experience lived up to that. Service was nearly flawless—attentive, professional, and warm throughout the evening. The cocktails were a definite highlight: creative, well-balanced, and expertly crafted.

The food, while good overall, didn’t quite reach the same heights. A cabbage dish had a lovely sauce, but the cabbage itself felt undercooked and was difficult to eat, with the filling being rather plain. The bureg had a rich, doughy texture, but the filling was slightly too runny and lacked structure. Dessert, though flavorful, was let down by an overly thick tart shell that overwhelmed the filling.

While the meal had strong points and was enjoyable, a few refinements would elevate it to match the Michelin-level promise the sign suggests.“

“I went there for my birthday (long weekend); Abby was our waitress and the service and communication to my guests was beyond amazing. The city was super busy and the venue was almost overcapacity but Abby managed to have the upmost attention to detail on the service. Every single dish packs its own punch and the naan bread is super buttery which I love. The service is excellent with the servers knowing the menu inside and out. Most of the menu is veggie. “Becky and Ryan have been superstars during this devestating pandemic. In addition to restructuring their business to remain somewhat open but safe for themselves and their patrons, they’ve been a voice above the racial hate and injustice the world has been forced to finally confront. When things got too bad, both Becky and Ryan have been around to help ease the anxiety and despair to not only those in Toronto, but all the way down in the southwest USA (virtually of course). Even if they themselves are going through the same if not worse hell that we’re in. I hope to see my good friends again to talk and laugh over a well crafted drink, and not through the lens of a webcam.“

“We went there for drinks on the patio. I love how it’s decorated inside. Their patio has quite decent space and it’s on the quieter side of the street. Staff was friendly. Drinks were really good. I got the non alcoholic version of the gronk. The cucumber was the ingredient that stood out and the lemongrass was more toned down. Their drinks have names from the Australian culture. We were surprised to see that the food menu is pretty much Filipino. We’d love to come back and try it. Overall, we had a great experience. Bathrooms are downstairs.“

- 11am in marseille, very unique and subtle licorice/fennel seed flavor. This is the only drink I’d get again. Doesn’t taste alcoholic at all. Slightly nutty
- figalo, refreshing fizzy drink, barely taste like alcohol
- Paloma, tastes like smoked salmon
- nitro colada, tastes like a refreshingly smooth pina colada
- pandor, strong but yummy pandan aftertaste
- breakfast at Tommy’s, tasted like tequila with lime and soda, not very unique to me. I remember there was a hint of cilantro and it was intended to taste like birria tacos but I wasn’t able to taste that“

The drinks we ordered were: Le Parfum, The Foreigner, Lavender&Lemon, and Cosmopolitan. We also ordered the Cheese and Charcuterie, Fries, and steak.
My friends surprised me for my Birthday with ordering Creme Brûlée which amazingly was so delicious! the staff were very nice and friendly!
