“I had my graduation celebration here a few weeks ago and it was PERFECT. This place is so unassuming from the outside, which I love. After walking in a narrow restaurant, we stepped into the most magical oasis in the back. Beautifully decorated with great natural light, fairy lights and wonderfully kind staff creating the most cozy and welcoming environment. I couldn't have asked for anything more and the food was also delicious and promptly served. We especially loved the skewers and beet salad! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. ““Absolutely loved my experience at Vie Strada Food & Drink, also known as Clandestino.
As an influencer, I’m always chasing great food and vibes, and this spot nailed both.
Chef Deso personally presented each dish at the table, starting with their incredible bone marrow where are the Chef blow? Torch touch.

I asked Chef Deso to create something special for me, and he delivered a perfectly cooked steak paired with one of the most creamy, dreamy gnocchi I’ve had in Toronto. My date couldn’t stop raving about the Tuna and grilled octopus too.
What really stood out is that Chef runs the back of the house basically solo and with his wife, pouring so much heart into every plate and glass.
We did their dining menu special and honestly, for the quality and generosity, the price is ridiculously reasonable. I literally thought the price was per person, but it was per couple and I suggest this place to anyone that wants to take a date out for great food and beverages that’s affordable.
It felt like a true privilege to eat there.

Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

“Me and my husband found this bar looking for speakeasy’s in Toronto. Whilst the drinks were good and the staff great, we were quite disappointed by the term “speakeasy”. We were very excited when the confirmation email for our booking said that we were supposed to go into a yoghurt shop and order for number 8, because this felt very much like speakeasy’s we’ve been to before. However, when we got there, the lady simply asked us if we wanted to get into the bar. The music was also very loud and it felt a bit overcrowded which made it feel more like any popular bar than a hidden speakeasy. So, drinks were good and it’s a nice bar in general, but I wouldn’t go as far as to recommend it if you’re looking for a speakeasy ://“
