“Went with my colleagues during lunchtime. Not really a big ramen person and I didn’t even know this place existed. It’s weird since I frequent some of the restaurants on Queen St, even the Indian restaurant beside it!
Service was pretty good, food was fast to come after ordering. The portions are hearty especially the Karaage Chicken. It looked expensive on the menu and we were expecting the small typical pieces but they are huge! (No wonder it was priced the way it was). Quality of the chicken was good- properly seasoned and not greasy.
The ordered normal noodles and should have got it softer. (Personal preference). I added vegetables to my ramen as an extra add on. Condiments that come with it add extra flavour.
Will come again.“

“Kinton Ramen at Queen and Spadina is an absolute standout in Toronto’s ramen scene. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warm, inviting energy of the staff and the irresistible aroma of rich, simmering broth. This location has mastered the balance of quick service and top-tier quality, making it perfect for both a casual lunch or a cozy dinner.“

“Absolutely my favourite ramen place in Toronto by far. This is the only place I’m willing to wait for to be seated. The broth is out of this world and so unique. It’s packed with a flavourful punch and one bowl will make you full. This place 100% deserves the high ratings“

“Amazing! Service was great. Kindest workers with the most positive energy bringing love to their food. Shoyu pork ramen was the move today and it was a delicious peppery soup with great portion sizes. Food came out extremely fast and seating was also efficient. Overall a must visit if you’re in the mood for ramen or even just in the area.“

“Haven’t been here in a while, but happy to say nothing has changed, the food is still delicious! For appetizers, we ordered the ebi fry shrimp tempura, takoyaki, and filet mignon. The takoyaki was great, and the shrimp tempura was crispy and tasty. The filet mignon side dish, however, was a bit disappointing. It definitely lives up to its name of being “cute” and tiny. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend it since it was basically a hot plate of bean sprouts with 5-6 TEENY TINY pieces of meat. For my main course, I ordered the karaage original (pictured) and the Ajisen original. Both were flavorful and comforting. Overall, I’d definitely come back, especially for the ramen and takoyaki!“

“I go into Kenzo pretty often, I love it. The food is so good as is the bubble tea. I love the energy put into everything they make and the ability to customize. Highly recommend the macaroons - pandan coconut is my fave. It’s also really reasonable. As if the food wasn’t good enough all the staff are super friendly. I am always greeted with genuine smiles and assistance. Big shout of to Pemma. She always goes above and beyond. Worth checking it out for sure!“

“Let me start off by saying I’m not the biggest ramen fan. But we were at union station and it just looked good. I got the black miso ramen. I’m almost mad about how good it was as I have no plans of going back to Toronto. It was very flavorful. The mushrooms were cooked amazing and very tasty. The pork skin was perfect and I loved the broth. It was served quick I just wished there was a place to sit and eat as it’s a food hall it was extremely busy and all I could find was a stand up table. But the food itself is well worth it and I would not hesitate to have it again“

“After a long walk, I was looking for a place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Sansotei provided exactly that—a modern ambiance where I could relax and enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen.
From the outside, the restaurant uses black to distinguish itself. The familiar signage of the ramen franchise I knew well assured me that I would have a good time. After navigating around the wooden fence, I entered the restaurant.
Inside, it looked clean and modern. The decor was primarily black, but the wooden wall on one side, a black Japanese fabric curtain (noren) on the other, and thick ropes hanging from the ceiling like a chandelier made the interior quite interesting.
As soon as I was seated, I got the menu. It had clear pictures of the available ramen, along with their names, descriptions, and prices, all easily readable on a single page. However, the paper menu was worn down on the edges, which slightly detracted from the experience. Here’s what I tried:
Tonkotsu: I ordered the classic bowl with thin noodles and a side of extra noodles, and I was very happy with my choice. The ramen came piping hot in a bowl. Even the basic bowl included a full soft-boiled egg split into two, along with other delicious toppings like green onions and thin slices of pork belly chashu. The hot, beige, fatty soup made of pork marrow had fat floating on the top, and there was enough of it to accommodate the extra noodles. The noodles were perfectly cooked to be soft yet still chewy. The broth was very well seasoned and matched perfectly with the noodles. I kept slurping until there was no more left in the bowl. I loved it to the last drop.
As for the service, the gentleman who took my order was attentive at the beginning but allowed me to eat in peace afterward. The utensils and table were clean, as was the washroom.
Overall, I had a great time at Sansotei Ramen. The restaurant offers good value, and I would not mind coming back when I am in the area and in need of a hot bowl of ramen.“

“Food/sauce is very flavorful, atmosphere is great and you can watch him making the noodles. What’s not to like?? Oh yeah and the cat robot that delivered our appetizers was awesome! We’re here at noon on a Monday and I can’t believe this place isn’t packed; with this delicious food it should be. We’re on vacation but I wish they had one in Charleston! Two thumbs way up!!“

“This place has some great deals like buy one, get one free on barbecues. We got the lamb skewers, which were very juicy and flavorful. We went during a quiet time, so service was quick.
We also ordered the chicken stir-fry. It comes with your choice of protein (I think they offer lamb, chicken, maybe shrimp). The noodles were made fresh right in front of us, which was fun to watch. The kitchen is open and looked very clean.
I’ve been here a couple of years ago, and the service and taste are still just as good. Definitely recommend trying the barbecue skewers!“

“Kaminari is undeniably one of my fav new spots in Parkdale. The ramen is always delicious and I have always recommended many friends to try it out since it's Opening.
Had an amazing Duck umami soy ramen yesterday in their heated patio for lunch.
Recommend checking it out any time of the year, they rotate their menus during the seasons and sometimes have pop up events like Oden night.
Also there is bartender that is pretty cool, socialable and adorable the last few times we've eaten there in the evenings!
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian ramen. In the summer the had yuzu chilled soupless ramen also that was superb ?
Kid-friendliness: I've taken my 7 yr old nephew here that loved it. For toddlers the outdoor patio will provide sufficient space to place a stroller“

“I got the chicken cutlet ramen and thoroughly enjoyed the portion for a light dinner. Came with a well cooked cutlet with a whole seasoned egg and a litany of noodles and veggies. The self order system and pay later felt great as sometimes you just get stuck in a restaurant waiting for service. I would say this is more of a four out of five on the food side, as I feel like the quality of the noodles (could honestly be confused for mr. noodles) and broth could be improved for the price. But the warm staff, plethora of toppings and free plum juice really sealed the deal that day. I'm really lucky they're around and could enjoy it. My dinner came out to a few cents above $20 with a 15% tip, so somewhat reasonable for ramen in this part of town.“

“Visited late Thursday lunchtime and was easily able to obtain a table. The place wasn't so busy, yet, the staff served me immediately and were friendly and efficient. I was able to communicate with my limited Japanese which was fun. I went for the regular ramen and it was pretty good. Presentation was done well and price was reasonable for Toronto ($15.5 before tax). The ramen shop is well decorated and kept clean. They have offering from their Saryo cafe at their North York centre site although I didn't see if they had coffee (I did see green tea). The wash room facilities were clean and well maintained. I noticed the property is quite narrow.“

“The beef noodle tastes okay, not bad but also not surprisingly good. It is not worth the line up, but it is a good option to visit when you crave Lanzhou Beef Noodles in a non-busy day. The price is very reasonable given the amount of beef in the noodle, though.“

“I have dined here twice at their Bank Street location twice. The first time I visited, it was to enjoy one of their delicious ramens for $10 while helping them celebrate their 3rd anniversary. My second time visiting, I enjoyed their new and delicious Black TanTan Ramen and their black sesame seeds that you can crush and sprinkle into your bowl of ramen. 🍜 Also, don't be discouraged by the colour of this ramen's broth, because of its greyish colour. It tastes much better than it looks. 😋“

“A bit expensive, and portions are small, but would highly recommend. One of the best ramen in Toronto. Broth is flavourful, noodle is perfectly “uncooked”, with a bit of raw inside, which is what a ramen noodle should be. Chashu is the highlight. It’s lightly flamed, which makes it much more flavourful than the ones just soaked in broth.“
