For two people, the total came out to just around $40. Service was quick and efficient, especially during the weekday afternoon slump. We’ll definitely be back to try more!“

“I visited this restaurant because of their anime-inspired menu, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The chicken ramen was incredibly savory, with a rich and flavorful broth. The beef bento was a feast for the eyes, with two sides and a mix of great elements. I also tried the Tokyo fried chicken, which was delicious. But the real highlight was the Taro bubble tea - arguably one of the best I've ever had. Guleen, was very nice and helpful, explaining everything on the menu, including their summer sale on bubble tea.“

After ordering, we got our soup and salad pretty quickly but waited longer for our main dishes, and even longer for our dessert. The food was ok. My husband found the seaweed in his hand roll and maki roll too soft, and I found the salmon to be a bit dense. The other sushi were average. Then the dessert, my husband liked his fried bananas, but I found the sticky rice with mango to be too sweet and the mango pieces were not ripe. The service was slow but we can understand why--it's been a busy night. The staff were nice but very busy catering to bigger tables. Despite all this, we did enjoy our time.“

It was so surprising, the girl at the front stated they dont give anything away but could see that I needed a picker-upper, and let me tell you she was and is so right. “The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

“I came here for lunch with my coworkers and we shared a tasting box plus a few rolls on the side.

I don’t eat cucumber, so I specifically asked for no cucumber in our order and was told it could be swapped with avocado, which I really appreciated.

We were also informed it would take about 20 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40–45 minutes due to the lunchtime rush. Totally understandable though, and the manager was very apologetic and even gave us a $5 coupon for our next visit along with our box.

When the food arrived, the presentation of the tasting box was absolutely WOW.. it was so beautifully done. We were honestly just too hungry at that point to admire it for long.

Unfortunately, I noticed the first roll I picked still had cucumber in it, and when we flagged it, the staff immediately looked into it. It turned out there was a miscommunication about the substitution, and most of the rolls in the box had cucumber. The manager personally came over, apologized, explained everything, and immediately took care of it by offering to remake the box without cucumber and providing a full refund, which really went above and beyond.

Despite the hiccup, the service and care from the team really stood out. Mistakes happen, especially during busy lunch hours, but the way the team responded made a big difference. I’d definitely come back again.“

“Delicious sashimi! The salmon is melt in your mouth. I loved the torched mixed fish option, tasty. The crispy chicken is superb. The chunks of chicken are large the batter is very crispy and the dipping sauce is creamy and satisfying. I will order from this place again. I didn’t remember until we were almost done eating that I wanted to take some pictures. This only usually happens when the food is so aesthetically pleasing that I forget to take my camera out and take a picture before I start gobbling it up. I can’t comment on the service or the atmosphere because I ordered the food to be delivered.“

“This is a hidden gem located in the Farmer’s market. I believe they have two locations. One is a restaurant and this one is a to go spot. Highly recommend coming to the to go spot. The owners were there when I ordered and the sushi/sashimi was very fresh. I did go in the morning close to lunch so maybe that’s a factor. Prices are very good if you pay by cash as well! Not to mention the portions were amazing! I did go to the restaurant location but was disappointed. There were different people working in the kitchen and restaurant front so I’d say stick to the hidden gem to go spot located at the Farmer’s market when the owners are around. The lady is also very nice and sweet!“
