“I had a pretty good experience from Exclamation Fusion. The food was insanely good, I had the curry don. I can’t tell if i was just hungry at the time but it was the best japanese curry i’ve had. The chicken was extremely juicy and soft. the little pieces of cabbage was a nice touch. The rice was really yummy too! My partner said it was spicy but I think it was more hot than spicy, even then I cant usually handle really spicy food but this was perfect, no spicy feeling for me. I really liked it then most when it was really hot and fresh :) devoured it in 5 mins. Price is pretty good for the serving I paid 17 dollars with the 2 dollar coke included. Server was so nice, long wait time though, but it was worth the wait :)“
“Really recommend Tsujiri for their excellent quality matcha and delicious hoijicha. Their service is always great, they put careful care into serving their dishes to look and taste stunning. There is also quite a good amount of room to sit and enjoy! Have gone back many times and love each time. This time I had the parfait and the ice cream was delicious.“
“I've been here three times and the service is always amazing, as well as the food. Our server, May, was really attentive and sweet. Remembered what we liked best when she came by to take our orders, and explained everything we needed to know while warning us about allergens. We'll definitely be back again!“
“If you’re looking for the best Japanese food in Waterloo, look no further. I’ve been going to Watami for a little over a year now, ever since my co-workers introduced me to it (and the pleasures of the wagyu beef). The service is impeccable and the food is excellent. It’s surprisingly affordable for the quality of food we get (especially if you stay away from the chalkboard and their “special items”).Parking: Park in either the paid garage next to Waterloo Square or one of the free lots that surround Uptown Waterloo. Very limited street parking in the vicinity.“
“Good place to get a quick meal! Service is fast, and the portion size is perfect. I usually get the salmon bowl but have had the salmon and tuna bowl, bulgogi bowl, and spicy pork bowl, which were all tasty. My only complaint is that there are sometimes inconsistent as there were times they put too much sauce or the rice was clumpier than usual.“
“Located in the middle of the Conestoga Mall food court.Never had Sushi and wanted to try it and Mac's Sushi was the first place we tried. The sushi was inside the fridge and apparantly it was to be eaten without heating which I felt a bit weird. Honestly I felt the taste was average but the sauce made it little better. On the other hand the service was very good.Vegetarian options: When we visited this place the only vegetarian option available was "Vegetable Sushi"“
“I’ve only ordered from here via Skip the Dishes but the food is super high quality and tasty. They are especially generous with the size of the sashimi.Dietary restrictions: As someone who is celiac, this is my new go-to take out place. They called me to inform me that one of the items that I ordered actually was not gluten free and suggested a substitution. Additionally they even made sure to send a little labeled container of gluten free soy sauce, instead of the regular soy sauce packets. Their care and attention to detail give me peace of mind when ordering from here, which is not something that happens often when you order take out with a food allergy!“
“This is one of my favorite places for some delicious, authentic asian meals. The staff are friendly, inviting, and attentative. The food is top-tier. While being a small restaurant, it's quiant & welcoming atmosphere will keep you coming back.“
“I go here semi regularly. It's really nice fresh sushi for pretty cheap. It's a tiny shop, but they're extremely accurate at predicting how long your order will take so you can go for a walk and come back. Even when they're really busy, I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes.“
