“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!”

The ice cream was creamy, full of flavor, and had a great mix of textures. The staff were friendly and made the rolls right in front of me, which was fun to watch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something sweet!”

We were a large table of 24 guests, and we were served by our waitress Tiffany with such prompt and courteous service, everyone at our table raved about it all night. The plates were so pretty to look at and even better to taste. So much love went into each plate! The Gorgonzola gnocchi melted in your mouth. The meat (on the short ribs) fell right off the bone…don’t even get me started on the cheesecake and chocolate creme brûlée!!! 😍 Mia, our server went above and made the night so much better. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!”

But the food is the true star. Nothing else like it in Windsor. Lots of veggie options and delish meat options. I recommend the veggie or meat combo dinner for 1. So good. Great spot - couldn’t imagine downtown windsor without it. An absolute must-go with a dedicated group of people who have also been going here for years because it’s just such a staple.”
