“I consider myself to be a pretty ‘regular’ customer, meaning I’m constantly at this location, at times every day ordering my usual beverage. The entire staff is pretty cool and really nice, however one person stands out and has always been exceptional to me: the employee Jaimeet. Absolute sweetheart that no matter what always always always not only gets the drink perfectly right, but deeply cares about customer service. His efforts and smiles have never gone unnoticed. I’ve never tried the other smoothie/juice spot in the mall because of him. I don’t know him well, but I can tell you that he’s been a delight each and every time I’ve come across him. I hope I’ll be able to continuously have my beverages made by him (every employee is absolutely lovely, so don’t get me wrong) but throughout the summer I’ll probably be getting a shake each and every day and it’d be awesome for them to be perfect as expected when it comes to Jaimeet whipping them up. My kids are big fans of bubble tea and always love trying new places, so we were excited to come across Comic Tea at 2470 St. Clair Ave W. Omg their drinks are uniquely different and absolutely delicious! You won’t find your typical menu here, and that’s what makes it so fun.

The vibe in the store is awesome, we especially loved the featured art wall, which gives the space a cool, creative feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous. Bonus: the cups are really well-designed and super cute!

If you’re in the area or even just curious to try something new, Comic Tea is definitely worth a visit!“

“I usually love the smoothies here, but a couple of days ago I ordered two large smoothies at this location—one melon and one strawberry. Unfortunately, both tasted overwhelmingly like banana and were much sweeter than expected. The banana flavor completely overpowered the other ingredients, and I wasn’t able to enjoy them. Thankfully, the staff member was kind enough to remake one of them, both had to be changed but I just asked for one of them.

I would appreciate it if more attention could be given to making sure the correct ingredient proportions are used so that the advertised flavors come through. If I have the same experience again, I may have to reconsider visiting this location in the future.

“Had a really nice experience at the CoCo Hurontario location. The place was clean and well-kept, which made it comfortable to be in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when taking our order.

“I’ve been going here for nearly 7 years and they sell the best bubble tea ever! The owner and the workers are really nice, there’s a huge variety of drink flavours and toppings to choose from. Every drink is delicious and unique. It’s a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend going there.“

“We like Coco in general and their cold drink are not bad. I rarely order hot drink but Today's experiences was not 5he best:
1) Long wait: Only 1 staff when I visited, basically a long wait (I was the first customer), and had to wait till she took all orders for two more customers to start making my drink. It's not her fault, it is the management issues.
2) Product availability: At noon on Sunday, you can't order caramel flavour because it is not available. This is a pretty common flavour in bubble tea business.
3) Product Quality: Ordered hot drink, Jasmine green milk tea (large in size), does not taste like a milk tea at all, they diluted with water to the level you don't think you are drinking a tea beverage. It's not hot drink, it is a drink with warm feeling. Today's is -7 feel like -13. The drink is not considered a hot drink at all.
4) Others: When you ask for a sleeves for the cup, I was told they ran out of sleeve for cup.
Hopefully they can work on these improvement.“

Their menu is extensive with categories like milk tea, smoothie, fresh milk, and fresh tea (black/green). They offer agar balls which isn't commonly seen in bubble tea places, but also offer lychee popping boba and the staples like tapioca, pudding and grass jelly. Customization is offered for the sweetness and ice levels. This bubble tea place shares the same staff members as the Sushi Place Restaurant. Their staff is okay with speed, they have the equipment to shake the beverages. Containers felt pretty sturdy. Good to satisfy the minimal cravings, but there are better options if you don't mind the distance.“

“I frequent this bubble tea place because it is the closest to my home. Each time I go the service is good. I do love the atmosphere, sometimes there will be really good Indian music playing. I enjoy anything mango and I love the fact that there is popping boba. I didn't enjoy the pineapple coconut that much but the mango magic, lychee, taro and watermelon is good.“

I was in the store during one of your visits, and your review honestly doesn’t match what actually happened.

You were asked several times to clarify your sugar and ice levels and kept giving vague answers or changing your mind after the drink was already made. The staff were patient and kept trying to confirm your order so they could get it right. It's not rude service if someone is trying to deal with unclear instructions.

What was also weird is that you don’t seem to have the same energy when a guy is making your drink. I’ve seen you accept drinks without complaint in those situations, but when a girl is preparing it, you suddenly find issues and ask for remakes. As a customer myself, I think that doesn’t look like a quality problem, it looks like you picking and choosing who to criticize.

If you want a specific amount of ice or sugar, just say it clearly when ordering. The staff can’t read your mind, and blaming them afterward for following standard recipes isn’t fair.“

“Didn’t know what to expect going into a boba shop on an outlet store area. Pleasantly surprised.

Tried the new peach milk tea and my daughter had the mango slush. The slush was sweet while being a little tangy making it nice and refreshing for the warm day.

The milk tea didn’t look like the picture with the layer of red, but did have a nice peach flavour.

Service was decent too. Got my drinks super quick since no one was in line and also explained the peach tea. Since it’s formally called peachwood.

Didn’t notice any parking as I was walking along to the new Zellers so can’t really elaborate on parking since there was one in my sightlines. They do have a patio out front with a pergola which was nice.

“The drinks from the Bambū side are a bit on the pricier side, but they're packed with flavor. We went for two large drinks, and one was practically a dessert in itself. The Mangonada was refreshing, tangy, and had a bit of heat, while the tamarind candy straw added a chewy surprise between sips. The Halo Halo was topped with creamy ube ice cream, which melted nicely into the drink as you mixed it in. It was a little tricky to mix at first since it was filled to the brim, but the combination of textures, sweetness, and nuttiness was fantastic without ever feeling overwhelming.

Having the option to enjoy Bambū's unique drinks makes this location stand out. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and didn't leave a single crumb behind!“
