The kind young lady working in the morning today was so sweet and attentive, she was quick with drink making, taking customers orders efficiently and handling the drinks with care all while doing it alone! She recommended me the peach, blueberry fresh tea and brown sugar crème brûlée, which were both delicious! The tapioca was chewy, soft , and sweet! They also had plenty of board games displayed which was a bonus. I would say customer service was a 11/10, and overall quality of the drinks a solid 10! I’d recommend choosing this place as your next date spot!“

The topping selection is where this place really shines — cookie dough bites, Oreo crumble, and caramel drizzle in every bite, no dry spoonfuls!

The self-serve setup lets you go as light or as dangerous as you want, and I clearly chose the dangerous route. Yes, it’s not cheap when it’s jam packed, but the quality and customization make it worth it and you can add less if you’re not trying to spend too much. My kids are big fans of bubble tea and always love trying new places, so we were excited to come across Comic Tea at 2470 St. Clair Ave W. Omg their drinks are uniquely different and absolutely delicious! You won’t find your typical menu here, and that’s what makes it so fun.

The vibe in the store is awesome, we especially loved the featured art wall, which gives the space a cool, creative feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous. Bonus: the cups are really well-designed and super cute!

Their menu is extensive with categories like milk tea, smoothie, fresh milk, and fresh tea (black/green). They offer agar balls which isn't commonly seen in bubble tea places, but also offer lychee popping boba and the staples like tapioca, pudding and grass jelly. Customization is offered for the sweetness and ice levels. This bubble tea place shares the same staff members as the Sushi Place Restaurant. Their staff is okay with speed, they have the equipment to shake the beverages. Containers felt pretty sturdy. Good to satisfy the minimal cravings, but there are better options if you don't mind the distance.“

Absolute banger!! I have the app and always order for pickup so I don’t have to wait in line. When I walked in, the lovely workers immediately greeted me which was so nice bc I find it’s rare… and they had my order ready to go! So big shoutout to the staff, I hope they are being compensated fairly!

Anyways what topped it off was that my drink was also free because if you use the app you get a free drink for every 10 ordered. If you go in groups or dates it’s pretty easy to rack up lol and getting a free drink these days easily makes my day!“
