“I love Jamaican food and believe me Scotty is one of my favourite. This Jamaican restaurant is a total gem. From the moment you walk in, the smell of spices hits you in the best way, and the vibe feels welcoming and laid-back. The jerk chicken is the star of the show—perfectly smoky, tender, and packed with bold flavor without being overpowering. The curry goat is rich and comforting, and the rice and peas are cooked just right. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you can tell the food is made with care and authenticity. On top of that, the staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. If you’re craving real Jamaican food that tastes like it was made from the heart, this spot is 100% worth a visit.“

“The Jerk pork cutters are horrible workers with horrible attitudes. Especially the chunky fellow with the tight track pants. He grunts instead of speaking and LOADS the box up with bristle and bone and skin. He gets confrontation when you call him out. The old man is even worse. The chicken cutters on the other hand are pleasant and always load you up with extra. Is the pork cutting position at hot pot a family punishment? Because none of them are happly doing it. I'll be back and I'm going to cause a even louder bigger scene ON JAH“

“This is one of my crave spots. Real home-made Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine made by a real Jamaican granny! The j*** chicken is on point, and heavenly when paired with the rice and peas soaked in oxtail gravy. The prices are reasonable, and friendly staff/owners.“

“I happened to be in the area and they were closed already for about a half hour. I'm guessing somebody saw my disappointment from inside and actually came to the door. They were so kind to be able to sell me a box of patties !! To that woman... Thank you very much. Your kindness is what every community needs !! “

“Great place great people amazing food ... it's hard to find place we're you actually get what you pay for these Days.. they have daily specials and everything's good you get so much flavour and food for your money this place is becoming a more then Regular stop for me I'd definitely recommend trying it ......parking is a bit crazy but it's worth it

“We were so happy when we found out that this Pai location was in our neighbourhood and it has now become a staple. We don't notice a difference from the downtown and Eglinton locations - it's the exact same quality and portion sizes. We also love that they are so accommodating about substitutions and making items gluten free. Never a bad meal here!“

“The food was great, I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, and slaw on the side. I’m still trying to figure out what the dressing on the slaw was because it tasted so fresh and fruity instead of that gross mayo type sauce that a lot of people use. I don’t live anywhere near Toronto so I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to visit again, but highly recommend!“

“I tried Roti King last week on a whim, the reviews were all over the place but I’ve been looking for a solid roti shop for a while so I gave it a shot.
The restaurant is dated and old, the owners are not trying to charm you, they don’t need to, the rotis are phenomenal. It’s the classic, chickpea flour roti that’s made fresh, the meat to potato to gravy ratio is on point and the hot sauce is perfect.
We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already been back and we’ll be back regularly. This is a great spot, don’t sleep on it.“

“I came here after a long day of work (6-7pm ish) and the lady behind the counter was so helpful. I ordered the curry chicken with white rice and fried chicken, and it was so good. Their food is seasoned perfectly . I really have to give thanks to the lady behind the counter, she was so kind and made the experience delightful.“
