“Cute place and great amount of food for the price, the caviar plate and the appetizer was very tasty. The owners were attentive as well.
My only problem was that there was a bit too much black pepper on the steak, otherwise I like it ( if you like well done). The tiramisu was nice but the chocolate mousse was watery. Overall would recommend it.“

NIcely done and my husbands Toast 3 egg breakfast was excellent. The only concern is the noise level. It needs more wall covering to cut down on the noise level. This would be a concern for anyone wht a hearing issue.“

In addition to restructuring their business to remain somewhat open but safe for themselves and their patrons, they’ve been a voice above the racial hate and injustice the world has been forced to finally confront. When things got too bad, both Becky and Ryan have been around to help ease the anxiety and despair to not only those in Toronto, but all the way down in the southwest USA (virtually of course). Even if they themselves are going through the same if not worse hell that we’re in. We tried the Confectionery and the Nitro-Chilled Dirty Vetiver Martini, and both were incredibly well thought out. The attention to detail was what really stood out, every cocktail had carefully considered components, textures, aromas, and flavours that made each drink feel like its own experience.

“Very cool place. All the staff was very good at their job, Taya was our waitress. She was awesome in my opinion. The food was good. The triple pepperoni pizza was really good. Make sure you get the hot honey sauce. The mozzarella sticks were really good and fresh. The rigatoni pasta was mid, The noodles were still a little hard maybe I just got a bad batch. The drinks were not strong but overall 5 stars still. I would definitely return!“

“neighbourhood gem! very family-friendly atmosphere with a thoughtful team. the menu is refreshingly concise and i loved how calm and composed the kitchen feels. the space is casual and clearly considered (unfussy but you can tell there’s care behind what they’re putting out).

we ordered the fish and veg, cheeseburger, caesar salad and two desserts.

the corn salad was exquisite and the trout was nicely done, though the skin was a touch underwhelming — not sure what happened there, maybe it was left a little too long before being served, as the skin had lost its crispness by the time it reached the table. the squeeze of lemon was definitely welcome, though; that little touch of acidity really helped.

the cheeseburger was simple but done right as was the caesar salad. can’t ask for anything more, really.

the desserts were probably the only miss for me. the mango soft serve didn’t quite hit the spot, while the raspberry compote hit the back of the palate strikingly too acidic. same with the strawberry coulis on the no-bake cheesecake. the actual cheesecake was good, but nothing grand.

service was wonderful. everyone was attentive without hovering, and lindsey was genuinely the sweetest server ever. it also seemed like the rest of the team had a great handle on their tables. everyone seemed happy, even while stranded in the middle of a thunderstorm!

overall, still five stars despite the desserts not quite hitting the mark. i’d love to see a really good drip coffee on the menu, too — would’ve been a nice way to end the meal.

“Learned about this place from Too Good To Go app and decided to come here for lunch with a friend. It is a little hard to spot since it is hidden in a small street. We heard this place just open a month ago, so might explain why the place wasn't too busy. Good for us, since we could sit by the cozy lounge area. I got the Avocado Toast, and my friend the Mediterranean Cauliflower. The Toast was super balanced and beautiful (and so much avocado!). The Cauliflower had a lot of components and was very filling. We both agreed the food was 10/10. if you coming for Cocktail, would recommend the Amethyst and the Carribean Sour!“

My wife had the habanero margarita and it was equally great. We shared the tabouleh, humous, halloumi, and the Kefta Kabab and everything was amazing. “Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

I mean, if I got scared that we may not be seated bec NO TABLES ARE AVAILABE, then I will look for another restaurant.
