“I really like this restaurant! The service is great, the restaurant is clean, and the food is amazing. The curry katsu udon is so filling and rich. Though i would not get the shrimp onigiri again because there was only 1 shrimp in it and it was $6 so i cant really justify the price.“
“when i took my first bite of this godly ramen i knew i needed nothing else in my life other than kinton ramen. my life is better, my skin is clearer, my falling marriage is saved. thank you kinton ramen. kanami was seriously so kind to me and my friends, best of the “
“Very quick, friendly, and extremely delicious. We had a meal for two which came with two bowls of ramen, an order of gyoza, and two drinks. A lot of food for the price. If you’re in a bit of a rush for lunch but still want high quality food, come here.“
“EAT BKK Thai stands out for its delicious Massaman Curry, combining traditional spices and creamy coconut milk. The dish has tender meat, potatoes, and crunchy nuts, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity and versatility with many different dishes to choose from. The food is consistently fresh, making it highly recommended for a great dining experience.“
“This is, by far, the best Filipino restaurant I have ever been to. Although the dishes are influenced by other cultures, the chef and his team have represented Filipino cuisine at its best. Chef Daniel's take on the Caldereta is probably the best I have ever had. Many Filipino restaurants have attempted to create their own version, but they have lost the distinct flavor that makes this dish what it is. However, Chef Daniel has managed to ensure that the flavors remain intact. The enseymada is to die for. The truffle does not overpower the flavor of the enseymada. We had their tasting menu, and it was worth every penny. Their Filipino cocktails are amazing. The location is great, and the service is friendly.Dietary restrictions: When making a reservation on Open Table, there is a section where you can add special requests, including any dietary restrictions. The restaurant typically calls to confirm the reservation either on the day of or the day before. When making a reservation on Open Table, there is a section where you can add special requests, including any dietary restrictions. “We ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen Black and Shoyu Ramen, along with some gyoza, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious! Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The broth was rich and flavorful, exactly how I like it. The Tonkatsu Ramen Black had just the right amount of depth and richness, while the Shoyu Ramen had a delightful balance of savory and subtle sweetness. Both dishes exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. The gyoza were also a hit, with a crispy exterior and juicy filling that complemented the ramen perfectly. The service was also prompt and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!“
“My friend and I were hanging out on the evening of Christmas around the Humber Bay Park. He was hungry and was craving momos, and the Google search led us a small plaza (where most places were closed). To our surprise, we saw that this restaurant was open! We were glad that it was open for dine-in. It was a small restaurant that could seat around 10 to 15 people. The interior was simple and decorated with various objects to reflect the Tibetan culture. It had the family-style vibe that we liked! We were greeted by three friendly staff (two ladies and one man) who were working at various areas. One of the friendly ladies gave us the menu (a small colourful menu on paper) and brought us water. Then she left, so that we can look at the menu and decide what to order. To start, my friend picked Masala Coke. Also, he and I ordered three items to share- Afghani Malai Momo, Chat Momo, and Manchurian Momo (all fried and all in chicken). Each item was brought to us by the friendly man. Each dish was delicious- the size of each momo was generous and the sauce added a lovely experience for our tastebuds. Also, I tried the Masala Coke, but it wasn't my favourite (it was too spicy for me). However, my friend enjoyed it- he liked the spicy kick to his drink. A great spot to visit in small and in large groups. Friendly service and good food!“
“Delicious flavors of Indonesia - very authentic and definitely reminds me of home! Highly recommend trying their mie goreng rendang and mie ayam - absolute must-tries! A gem for anyone craving a taste of Indonesia right in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Terima kasih for the wonderful Indo-food!“
“Tasty Tonkotsu To-Go with a Side of Croquette IndulgenceMy boyfriend and I recently indulged in a cozy ramen night, opting for the classic Tonkotsu Black Ramen and a duo of Croquette orders from Sansotei Ramen. While we're seasoned Sansotei diners, this was our first experience with their take-out service.First things first, the packaging was well-organized and secured, ensuring our precious ramen cargo arrived intact. We appreciated the thoughtful separation of the noodles from the broth, a game-changer that kept the noodles delightfully firm, avoiding the dreaded sogginess that can plague take-out ramen. The star of the show, the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, lived up to its reputation with rich and flavorful broth. However, I must admit, the broth leaned a tad towards the salty side for my taste. The eggs were a highlight, perfectly cooked with a luscious yolk that added a delightful creaminess to each bite.Having enjoyed Sansotei's delightful ambiance in-store on previous occasions, I must confess that the take-out experience, while good, didn't quite capture the same magic. Ramen is undoubtedly a dish that thrives on being enjoyed fresh and piping hot at the restaurant. The Croquettes, on the other hand, were a delightful addition to our meal. Crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside, they were a perfect accompaniment to the ramen bowls. While the take-out version didn't quite match the in-store experience we've come to love, it's worth noting that the quality of Sansotei's ingredients and their commitment to delivering delicious flavours still shone through. We'll continue to be loyal patrons, with a preference for the in-person dining experience when possible. Here's to hoping for a time when we can savour Sansotei's ramen delights in the cozy confines of their restaurant once again!“
“Great al dente noodles, fresh, hand pulled in the store. Very attentive service. I liked the little bonuses - a basket to hold your jacket and bags; a bib to avoid splashing my clothes. About 8 tables. Clean washrooms. GreenP street parking.“
“Such a great restaurant with amazing food at reasonable price! I love it so much I come here every other week. The atmosphere, the music, the service is all very enjoyable. Awesome food especially the chilli basil friend rice and classic pad thai. This restaurant made me start liking thai food, it’s great!!“
“We've ordered twice through UberEats and both times the food has been absolutely delicious. This time, we got the black pepper beef, roasted duck, and the cumin lamb (again). The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavourful. We made steamed rice at home and paired it with these dishes and it was perfect. Portions here are plentiful, which sets it apart from other restaurants that are cutting back. This has become one of our favourite restaurants in Toronto. Hoping to eat there in person one day!“
“A lot of mediocre sushi restaurants where we order sushi party trays have California rolls in 5 different ways which is so frustrating when it comes to trying to get the whole sushi taste experience. However sushi LoLo on the other hand has so many varieties of sushi when you order their patty tray. It makes me so happy that they give so much thought to putting their menu and how tasty their sushis are and for an affordable price. I always pick sushi LoLo!!!“
“Every staff member was very friendly and efficient. I got a warm welcome the second I stepped in. I ordered a chicken noodle soup which was very nice. The portion size shocked me a little. I ordered a regular but what I got was huge. I thought it was a mistake for a second. I enjoyed the broth. The price was also very reasonable. I will be returning to try other dishes!“
“Usually skeptical about highly rated pho places after a bad experience at a famous joint that opened in Etobicoke...you can probably figure that one out. When I saw sweetness in the soup I was thinking I probably won't like it.The other reviews aren't wrong there is a sweetness to the soup. But it works and it's actually very delicious and not overwhelming like the other places.Definitely recommended will try sate and bone marrow next time.“
“I'm not usually a noodle person (rice dishes for life!) but I had a craving for some quality noodles and this place did not disappoint!!! First off, the fact that it's open late is amazing because my boyfriend and I tend to eat really late. The restaurant itself is super cozy and aesthetic, and it's not too overwhelming in terms of decor and music. The staff were super nice and very chill, they were quick with preparing our food and bringing it out and they were very friendly the whole time. The noodles themselves? Perfection. The broth was really good on it's own but adding some chili and vinegar makes it a lot more flavourful. And the noodles were the perfect combination of chewy and soft, and retained the flavour of the broth without becoming soggy. We also ordered extra noodles and they gave us a HUGE bowl of noodles, so bonus points for that! Honestly, an amazing place to get some late night noodles and have a good time!“
“Let’s get this out of the way first, I’m no stranger to a bowl of wonton soup. I enjoyed six pieces of beautifully constructed wonton in a delightful soup. The meat was cooked perfectly and the wontons themselves were quite sizeable. Amazing soup would highly recommend.“
“Famous Korean Chef RestaurantEvery food are good!Good to experience it!Parking: Over 50 parking spaces sharing with the plazaWheelchair accessibility: Parking access is really nice! The entrance is right in front of the Handicap parking spaces.“
“First time coming to this Omni palace location and I was truly blown away by the customer service as well as the food. The meat here is all halal which is a huge perk for Muslims looking to try out authentic Chinese cuisine. I ordered the beef noodle soup and it was absolutely phenomenal. The broth was rich, flavorful and the noodles hand pulled and high quality. The beef was also very tender and tasty. The quantity of the food was also great, since I was full from the meal, as well as the price.Ample toppings came with the noodles as the dish had green onion, parsley and lots of garnishes that add flavor to the soup. I like how the menu is focused on just a few key dishes and not overwhelming. The server was so kind and helpful with the menu, she had a very good understanding of the dishes as well as a welcoming energy. Overall I highly recommend dropping by this location, you won't leave disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Halal is available“
“This shop has above average rice noodle but what really shined was their service. For these types of fast sit down places usually the staff is just order and go, but there they came back and check on the patrons and refills water and snacks.Got the chicken ginseng and crossing the bridge noodle, the food was good but there wasn’t a wow factor, hence the 4 stars.Parking: Go for the paid green P parking garage nearby. There’s one at Dundas and Spadina and another one just around the corner on Nassau.“
“Some of the best, if not the best, Thai food in the city. Everything on the menu is fantastic, with some great variation in different options.Vegetarian options: The tofu is a great veggie choice, really nicely made. Well cooked, great texture and brilliant taste.“
“Authentic Thai Cuisine in the heart of Toronto. Prepared by renown Chef Saki with such precision and care. With nutrition, and health are yours, every bit is like a dance on the palate. My favourite is the pineapple with chicken perfectly matched in this cuisine profile and the building of flavours.Every customer is like family. Whether you dine in or have it personally delivered to home. Treat yourself, you haven’t lived until you taste Mengrai Thai!!! The perfect 10 rating!!!“
“I’ve gotten takeout 3 times off Uber for dinner and I am someone who enjoys getting takeout.Service:I’m always genuinely surprised by the level of service provided even for takeout. The food seems to be prepared as the orders come because even when ordering a bit ahead of time, I usually arrive just as they are packaging everything and it takes about 5 minutes to get my food. Once I get my takeout, they open their door for me if my hands are occupied EVERY SINGLE TIME.I can’t speak to dine-in service as I’ve never dined in but I wouldn’t hesitate. They come off as very caring and kind people.Food:As hinted above, it seems to be prepped to order because even after I drive home, I’ll usually eat the food after about 30 mins due to other priorities and it is still hot/warm. If you like spicy, medium or extra spicy is really good. I always order the beef noodle soup and it just has incredible flavours especially paired with their spice.Highly recommend for noodle lovers and spice lovers.“
“This is a solid place. They've got ramen, obviously, but a lot more. We got ramen, chicken, and some dumplings, and they were all delicious. The servers were nice, and the portion sizes were pretty large. It's definitely worth checking this place out.“
“My favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto, food is always fresh and flavourful! Every menu item is delicious (yes I have tried them all) but I especially recommended the Bolan Pad Thai and Panang Curry Beef.Great cozy place for a date or dinner with family.“
“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“
“Good food open late and cool presentation and pretty good value for money... I'd recommend... But don't go for the desserts I guess... Mango sticky rice was NOT GOOD... It's not traditional but I wasn't expecting that either but the good dish was still not good... Too sweet and way too hot and it felt microwaved... Mangoes were burning hot and sour too... Sooo maybe not that... Other things... Good“
“Discovered by accident, left my heart in thereTotally love it So delicious so rich flavours, very cute and cozy Japanese place with amazing service, delicious food and great atmosphere And THE Most important They have FROZEN RAMEN TO GO !!!!Heads place is busy and tiny, book your line up in advance save yourself time before comingIt’s a cards only place no cashIt’s have frozen ramen to goPrices are amazing portions is impressiveIt’s a bit hidden because of construction but still a gemVegetarian options: Vegan ramen available plus couple of starters“
“A lovely restaurant serving delicious Thai food at prices far more reasonable than so many others in Toronto. Dining interior appears somewhat dated, but it's nevertheless full of charm! Food was also spicy and supremely delicious! Definitely, worth a return visit!“
“Use the cross-bridge rice noodles in the casserole, which has a lot of flavor. There are rice noodles with optional toppings, but the price is a bit expensive, about $12 for a base and $2-4 for toppings, which is a bit hard to calculate. On the contrary, most of the set rice noodles are $14, and there is also a set of pre-set ingredients for noodles, which is much cheaper! But there are relatively few choicesIt’s friendly to big foodies because they can top up the bottom once for free! But if you want to add a bottom, it's best to decide it at the beginning. If the ball is rolled tightly, it will fall into it. Because we just add the base before drying, the rice noodles are tasteless even after being soaked. But the first rice noodles that arrived were super tasty and chewy! So it’s a pity~?Spicy sausage rice noodles ($13.99)If you don't like spicy food, you can ask for less spiciness. The soup base is not Hong Kong-style spicy, spicy>>>>numbing, but not too numbing! Moreover, the pork sausage is completely tasteless and very bland. I don’t recommend this style. You can try other dishes. My friend ordered the pickled fish rice noodles and thought it was delicious. However, the portion of fish was not much, so feel free to try it if you are interested. I personally think that their rice noodles are well cooked and very chewy, but the ingredients are just average. Maybe I will try other ingredients next time and it will be better~If you want to see more food reviews, you can follow Instagram @japjapjap.to ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)وTried Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles in a clay pot, flavorful but pricey at $12 base + $2-4 per topping. Pre-set dishes at $14 offer better value with less choice.Big eaters benefit from one free base refill; add it at the beginning for best flavor! The initial serving was delicious and chewy.?Spicy Intestine Rice Noodles ($13.99) If If you can’t handle spice, you can ask for less spicy! lean more spicy than numbing; the intestines were quite bland, not recommended. Other dishes might be worth trying.Friend’s Pickled Fish Rice Noodles was good, though skimpy on fish. Noodles were chewy, , but the toppings were just okay. Might try different toppings next time~To see more reviews, follow Instagram @japjapjap.to ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و“
“The BEST lemongrass soup in the city!! I live far from the restaurant but I drive to get my favourite soup an order of green curry every week! All the staff are so great, including the owner Rajith who is the most hospitable person. Would give 6 stars if I could!!“
“We visited for lunch after going to the AGO as it’s almost right across the street. This place really hits the spot. I love how hot the soup is! I do wish that they had a ginseng chicken soup option though! Would recommend on a cold day. Yum.“
“Noodle King, located in the food court under Sheraton Hotel, offers a no-frills and straightforward ordering system. Open only during the workweek, the food court unit, along with one other shop, keeps the retro food court busy during lunchtime. Despite the potential for long lines, the efficient 4-staff team ensures a fast-moving queue. Would come back for a quick noodle soup if we are in the area! When it comes to ordering, customers can specify their choice of protein, soup base (with spicy options available), and noodles or rice. Payment is made at the end, with credit cards being accepted. The prices are reasonable for downtown, making it a decent choice for lunch. During our visit, we ordered two noodle soups, shrimp wonton with vermicelli and fish balls with vermicelli. The soup noodles are well-cooked, with well-seasoned and flavorful soup, reminiscent of Hong Kong-style cuisine. The shrimp wontons and fish balls are generously portioned and tasty. Also, we ordered BBQ duck on rice, which was topped with vegetables and a flavorful sauce similar to the BBQ Pork sauce.“
“A popular Chinese noodle restaurant with good prices and great portions! I tried the minced pork and eggplant with spicy garlic sauce noodles and it was so yummy and packing with flavour. The noodles were also freshly hand-pulled and tasted so perfectly chewy! If you aren’t feeling noodles, they have a large menu with a variety of other dishes to choose from too.Service was quick despite how busy they were. I love how you can watch the chefs pull the noodles in the kitchen while you wait :)“
“perfect place to dine solo after a long day. excellent and informative service for vegetarians/vegans :) they removed eggs and bone broth from my dish and it was just as delicious. the clean and simple interior with the music adds to the pleasant atmosphere!Vegetarian options: they have buttons to request for help omitting animal products to make the dish vegetarian/vegan“
“Next to our school in Oxford, I come here to eat every day. My favorites are tomato rice noodles, stir-fried yellow beef and wolf-toothed potatoes. The tomato soup is very rich and the beef is very tender. I really want to eat the wolf-toothed potatoes once.“
“Really good HK noodle restaurant that seems authentic and uses fresh ingredients. Portion sizes are large and prices are reasonable, with a good menu selection. They also offer frozen dim sum and fried fish skins for sale. The restaurant a bit small, so expect to wait during busy times. The waitresses speak Cantonese. They only take cash or debit. I will return to try more of the menu.“
“I got the Takeout chicken pad Thai . It tasted good, the noodles were a little bit dry for me. But the taste was there. I asked for Chopsticks and the person told me there’s a fork in the bag.. nonetheless presentation was nice, the smell was good and I enjoyed it. Give them a try.“
“Omni Noodle at Fairview Mall is a gem for noodle lovers. Their Chinese ramen noodles are delicious, and they offer authentic Halal options. I love that you can choose the thickness of your noodles. The Braised Beef with mid-round noodles is a must-try, but their dumplings, spring noodles, and stir fry are also fantastic. The atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone in our group left highly satisfied. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal!“
“Food is really good but portion wise is on the smaller end which makes it pricier as you would want to order additional appetizers or soup so expect 40-50$ a person before tips for a normal meal. However everything is expensive nowadays in Toronto so still a good “
“The owner was super friendly! Every time she came to the table, she praised my family for our good choices and encouraged us to eat more, just like a mother/grandmother would. It was busy when we went, but they quickly cleaned a table for us. Food was delicious, particularly the Korean fried chicken. Comes with free side dishes.“
“Oh my God, this restaurant was one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to ? My boyfriend and I literally had a feast there, ordering many things cause the prices were amazingly good, and everything was absolutely amazing ? We had such a good time; the vibe and atmosphere were amazing. All the staff were very, very friendly, and we highly recommend this place. I really liked the skewers, stir-fried noodles, and the fish balls. They were so yummy ? We really loved it. Also, you can check out my Instagram page for more restaurants, cafés, and places in Toronto. I post many contents and ideas there ? @melinmorad“
“This Ramen shop is very underrated; I should go there more often! My friends and I were there this evening, and we really enjoyed the Ramen - the broth, salt level, and noodles were perfect. The service was very quick and attentive! Will visit again for sure :)“
“This spot is solo date friendly! I went here on my lunch break by myself and I had such a comfortable and wonderful time! The service was impeccable. They were tentative but not too overbearing. Always made sure my water cup was full.As for the food, it was delicious. I'm such a soup girl so this fulfilled every craving I ever had (as a Vietnamese girl). I ordered the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodles soup with Flat noodles and a side of Chicken skewers. If you want the hand pulled fat big noodles, always order flat! Trust me, it was SO GOOD! As for the chicken skewer, it was seasoned perfectly. At the time that I went, it costs me approx. $22 CAD (not sure if that's before or after tip).I'm definitely coming back and potentially going to try the drier noodles since I've tried their soup already!“
“【Eating in Toronto】If you want to eat authentic Guilin rice noodles, you must visit Yixiaoguan in Green Building, North York, address: 11 Bogert Ave, North York, ON M2N 0H3.First of all, the brine must be authentic, and more than 20 kinds of spices are indispensable. Secondly, the pot cooking must be authentic, and the process must be meticulous. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, and will tell you how to eat each snack, making a snack bar full of fun of food culture.Hot and sour fried rice noodles is also one of the specialties here. Have you ever eaten hot and sour fried rice noodles without vinegar? It turned out to be the sour taste of sour bamboo shoots, delicious and delicious, oily but not greasy. The deliciousness is not a little bit, and the Wuhan hot and dry noodles in Yixiaoguan are also delicious. Even I, a Wuhan native, have to give a thumbs up to Yixiaoguan.“
“Been eyeing this place for awhile since COVID-19 as it looked quite a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Upon entering in the middle of the night with table of four, I found the place quite familiar to all noodle houses - chopsticks, soup spoons and napkins placed on bare tables. Even on some places along the bar facing the street. The wait wasn't long as our server greeted us and offered up two menus - rice dishes and appetizers, noodle soup and apps. The entire time, he also asked for our drink order which is quite studious on their part in the middle of the night. Awaiting for our meal was short but turned in quickly as bowls and dishes came over to use all at once.In particular the Special Lanzhou Beef Noodles with thick-thick was quite filling. Though I asked for a light spice preference which I later regretted, my company reports the regular hits just right. I was able to sample the beef shank, shredded potato and bok choy apps. All of which are well cooked and prepared just right. When it came to the bill, the cost was relatively affordable which completes the trifecta of a low cost hearty meal in a small dine-in atmosphere for singles and groups starting at 2. For their operating hours, they cover condos, tourists and townies roaming the area. Generally a nice spot away from high traffic areas but close enough to get back to them.“
“Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodles, located south of Bloor and Yonge, offers generous portion sizes and narrow seating space. Compared to the Dundas and Bay location, it was half the size, smaller and had a cozier atmosphere. The service was prompt and consistent food quality compared to other locations! We went for dinner time and noticed they had several 2-person tables available but were able to combine with 4-person tables. The regular-sized bowls are already large, and you can customize the spice levels for specific menu dishes. The side dishes, like the slightly sour and spicy Potato Salad, are fairly standard for this type of Chinese pulled noodle cuisine. The braised beef noodle soup was delicious with the spicy level 1, the Shredded Potato Salad was very refreshing. At another location, we had the Bean Jelly with House Special Sauce which was well seasoned. A regular portion can easily serve 1.5 people, while the large size easily serves 2 people. They accept credit cards and have a portable machine available to bring to your table. All pulled noodles are hand-made and custom ordered. Also, they commonly get requested a sharing bowl due to the size and offer scissors to divide portions easier.“
“My family and I used to go here all the time, they have new owners now but they’ve kept the delicious flavours and authenticity alive. The Banh Cuon Dac Biet with the fried shrimp cupcake is so good, made so fresh. The Bun Mang Viet (bamboo and duck soup) is incredible. The sauce it comes with to dip the duck is full of flavour. One of my fave viet spots in Toronto.“
“Located near the west side exit of Spadina Station, Vietnam Lovely Noodle offers a warm, quick and satisfying bowl of noodle soup! The restaurant has a lot of coat racks along the walls and offers tables with bench seating format. Their noodle soup portions were decent. When we went, the restaurant closed at 11pm which was great to know for a quick pitstop from the TTC subway line in the evening. There were a lot of options on the menu. Their 'pho' lacks cilantro and the soup base is a bit generic. It was still tasty for their version of pho and provided bean sprouts. However, the small size bowl of soup is surprisingly filling and still delicious! The staff are attentive and accommodating. Plus, they accept credit cards and bring the machine to you to pay the bill. Do note, that they only take debit/cash under $25 and they have WiFi in the restaurant.“
“The staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I ordered a seafood noodle dish with spring rolls and it was tasty and light! Not greasy and heavy on the stomach like other takeouts. The food was fresh and there were plenty of meat, seafood, and veggie options.“
