“Delicious food and generous servings. The sushi combos really give great value for the price without compromising on quality. I personally recommend the sushi deluxe combo.
There’s no dine in available, but there’s a nearby park where you can bring your food.“

“I first stumbled upon Diner Seoul a couple of years ago while I was in the area, and glad I decided to give it a try. Although the menu has changed a bit since my initial visit, the quality of the food has remained the same.
Diner Seoul is a cozy, family-owned restaurant serving Korean comfort food with a French-inspired twist. One of their most popular menu items is the KFC platter, available in two flavors (see below).
The food here is delicious, and the staff are always pleasant, attentive, and welcoming, which adds to the overall dining experience. They also have a small patio in the back for the warmer days.
Items I tried include:
- Bulgolgi Burger
- Beef Tartare
- Spicy & Sweet KFC Platter
- Soy & Garlic KFC Platter
- Truffle fries“

“Had a great lunch here. The katsu is just what you’d expect out of a good katsu: juicy tender meat, great sauce, extra crispy on the outside. The price seems high ($30 for katsu + pop) but you get a lot of food. I got the chicken brown katsu and it came with three large chicken cutlets, corn, rice and salad. If you’re craving katsu this will perfectly satisfy you!“

“Honestly wasn’t expecting much when coming in. They seated us in the section that had majority tablets; Genius idea. The service was fast and efficient. Everything you need is right there at the table or can be answered by the tablet. The table has compartments where you can find utensils, napkins, etc. The food was reasonably priced, generous portions, and tasted good. If there’s anything you need you can look to the tablet to help you. There’s an option to call a server and has options for your inquiry.
TLDR; Pros: fast&efficient, food good&cheap Cons: impersonal/detached style of dinning exp
Overall would recommend; I believe in this place.“

“It may be one of the hottest days of the year but, we came in craving some comfort food and this perfectly hit that itch. The chicken was extremely juicey, the skin crisp, meat tender and quite flavorful, also I was impressed by the size of each peice and how they butchered it. We were given a small platter of buttered corn on the house and it was a nice starter to preset the meal. The music hits the vibe of a relaxing casual eatery and the combos are worth the money. Next time I would order the combo with a larger group to finish it we went for combo 2 and got the galbi and soy garlic chicken. The galbi was my favorite my partner preferred the soy garlic, the tteokbokki was a little smokey, little spicey, and was loaded with meat it was worth it. I will come back and this will be a another great night spot after some drinks and karaoke.“

“We visited this restaurant during pride and I was really surprised to see that this place wasn't busy like a lot of the other ones nearby because we had a great experience here!
We tried the boneless chicken (supreme and cheesling flavors), rose tteokbokki, and corn cheese. The fried chicken was definitely the standout, perfectly crispy and moist on the inside. We would definitely recommend choosing the supreme as one of your flavors. The tteokbokki was also delicious. The cheese corn was okay; I would say I've had better at other Korean restaurants.
Our server was super fun and lively. She greeted us as soon as we walked in and made sure to clearly explain how everything in the restaurant worked (you order through tablets). The ambience isn't really anything fancy, but that's not something I really care about.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back for the chicken.“

“Notably very friendly staff. Was warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant. Staff was extremely courteous and did not have to wait too long to receive my order. If anything the spot is a bit too small and they would do better with a bigger location. Overall, a great experience…“

“My first time here!
The staff was really nice and polite.
I ordered kimchi stew with pork and it was good (needed a little more salt to my taste though) and the stir-fried noodles with rice cake, fish cake and bulgogi beef was my favorite (but I wish I ordered the spicy version!)
All in good, I left with a full tummy and felt happy! x)“

“That fried chicken sandwich is currently sitting as my #1 in Toronto, and I've eaten a lot. The fillings, the sauce, the bread, all so good. If you're in the area and you need a lunch, call ahead for a sandwich, will not regret. It is also massive! Their fried chicken is really crispy. It's on my top 5 list for crispiest chicken in the city. Chicken is fresh, oil is fresh. I like that they don't put the sauce on your chicken, that way it won't get soggy on your way home and when you reheat, the sauce won't burn. Their spicy yangnyeom was good, but not the best in town. Their soy garlic was only ok, a bit too runny. Their radishes were also only ok. Their kimchi fries were good, but Banh Mi Boys ironically does that better. But without a doubt, I'm going back for that fried chicken sandwich.
This place is takeout only.“

“We visited this restaurant on a coworker’s recommendation. The restaurant was very busy, with delivery drivers constantly coming and going, but we were still able to get a table.
The bibimbap arrived sizzling hot, and the combination of fresh vegetables and bulgogi was delicious. You know what? We never had to ask the server for anything. A lovely girl kept refilling our water without being asked, and when one of us accidentally dropped a pair of chopsticks, she noticed immediately and brought a new pair😂 Even though there were five of us requesting separate bills, the server accommodated us. Great food and excellent service. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a delicious bibimbap!“

“Ka Chi is my go-to restaurant whenever I’m in downtown Toronto with my friends and is my favourite Korean restaurant near my university. The food is always delicious and friendly service.
My favourite dish is the bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl. I love the bulgogi and vegetables. It arrives sizzling, stays warm throughout the meal, and has such fresh, delicious flavours. I also love the complimentary gyoza.
Another bonus that I really appreciate is the self-serve side dishes. You can refill them as much as you’d like, which makes the dining experience even better.“

“While we were in the area having dinner, we decided to pick up something for lunch the following day and ended up deciding on gimbap. After trying the food, we instantly had regrets that we didn't come here for dinner the night before! Really fresh and well made, at a price point that's very reasonable for the portion sizing. We'll definitely be back for a sit-down meal soon, and have added this restaurant to the list of places we'd pick up a tray from for parties.“

“This place is a real gem. It feels like it’s run by a husband-and-wife team, and you can tell there’s a lot of care put into everything. The overall experience is always satisfying, and the jokbal is genuinely really good—tender, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared.
The only minor downside is that parking can be a bit inconvenient, depending on the time you go. But honestly, it’s still worth it, and I find myself coming back often.
If you’re craving solid jokbal with a warm, local vibe, this spot is an easy recommendation.“

“One of my friends invited me here for Korean BBQ. When I first walked in, I honestly thought it probably wouldn't be my thing. We ordered the chicken and beef (I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes), they set up the grill at our table, and we cooked it ourselves. It was so yummy and delicious, and it completely exceeded my expectations!
The only minor thing is that I wish we had flat plates instead of bowls, because I didn't want my food getting soggy, but I heard its the customary way to eat it.
The staff were really friendly, brought us everything we needed, and kept refilling our veggies. I would definitely go back again!“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

“Very tasty food. Our seafood kimchi pancake is always perfect - nice and crispy and it wasn't too spicy (I have a low-ish spice tolerance and found it okay even though it has 1 chilly next to it on the menu).
I love their hot stone bibimbap, so have ordered it several times. My favorite is the shrimp bibimbap and I'm always happy with it--comes with lots of rice and vegetables; the shrimp is perfect, nice and juicy. I managed to get the rice golden brown (yay!) I tried adding a bit of the soy sauce that came with the pancake to the crispy rice and thought it tasted pretty good too. During the summer, they have excellent cold noodles--I love the soup version because it's so refreshing. They provide generous portions, and I've had to ask for a small container to take home my leftovers (mostly rice, so I plan to make myself a stir fried rice for next day's lunch).
Every time we visited, we had to wait for a table. They keep a waitlist (2024 UPDATE: they got a digital kiosk now! No more notebooks. Located to the right of the door, so make sure to fill it in). On Friday evenings there's usually 6-8 people on the waitlist by 5pm (which is about a 40-50 minute wait). You get a text message when your table is ready.
There is a 10% discount if you pay by cash.
They have booths of different sizes from 2 people to large groups of 10-14 (maybe more? Depends on how close you want to sit to each other?)
Only down side is the smell of food that clings to you after you leave.“
