“Absolutely delicious! I came here last year for the Mother’s Day service and again today for the Galentine’s service with my best friend and it is always such a magical experience. Surprisingly sooo filling and every piece of the service is well thought out. Very much the place to go for the fancy book loving folks. Perfect for a ladies brunch, afternoon tea, etc. the tea is amazing and they give each person a whole pot! Only thing I would recommend is maybe a Kids size service cause it would be so cool to bring my little to have a tea party!“

My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“

It's a wonderful spot to grab a cup and hang. The atmosphere is why I like this place the most. The late hours are a unique and welcome addition to Beaverton.

Prices on the bagel sandwiches are steep (~$16?) for a bagel with an egg and some toppings in it. Drinks aren't too bad, though. About $6-7 for a latte.“

“Just had one of the best customer service experiences of my adult life. Chuck & Dustin were my checkers. I was the space cadet customer who used the wrong club card # after spending a bunch of time adding all the relevant deals. I asked if they could reenter my number and was told they'd have to start over. I was super hesitant to be a jerk, especially given all the extra work our grocery people have to do right now. They said it was totally up to me, they had the time, and they were willing. It saved me $30 extra dollars, so I was super appreciative. They unloaded and rescanned everything and put it back, then offered to help me out and load my car. They never made me feel bad and were kind and friendly the whole time. It was a great example of kindness and humanity in these crazy times. They deserve a bonus!“

“This is the closest black rock to our ambulance headquarters, so I come thru a lot. The people are always cool and nice. I tried Big River for the 3rd time the other day, and honestly their coffee and service is mid compared to this black rock. Even the black rock cookies are 20x better than big river.“

“Despite being a regular customer who consistently left a decent tip, I frequently received incorrect orders. I have reason to suspect it was intentional. I told them it is hot inside, so they increased the temperature even more. That is how loyal customers are treated here if they are not local. Some baristas never smile.

“This Starbucks inside Target is quite nice and very clean. The service was great, and the employees working there were quite nice. It's a great place to get your daily coffee and something to eat as well. Would recommend checking it out and getting yourself something tasty.

“Listen. I drink a LOT of coffee. To the point where my doctor said at my last check up, “please stop drinking coffee, this has gone WAY too far.” So it’s safe to say, I know everything about coffee. More than the average person. For example, did you know that they grow beans in Columbia? Probably not. Point, set, match. But when I tell you, and I will right now, the beans at Ava’s in Progress Ridge produce the most exquisite hot bean water I’ve ever had the pleasure of slurping between my lips, I mean it. Coffee is kinda crazy if you think about it. How do they put water on beans, you drink it, and then all of a sudden your entire house is clean? I heard that the Egyptians actually build the pyramids on caffeine, then they died. How else would they move those giant blocks? I don’t know, and neither do you. Be honest, you don’t. But I really like the coffee at Ava’s, and the lady that looks like that blonde girl from Twilight makes a mean cup of joe.“
