“Husband and I were visiting from Salem, in the area to buy a car. Decided last min to eat here and we're happy we did! It's in the basement of a charming building, and the atmosphere was perfect and relaxing. Seems you can enter from two different doors/sides of building. Service was friendly, professional and quick. Food waa delicious. Would definitely go back for a nice date.“

“I remember going to their original location down on Main St. right next to/connecting to the Half Moon. I moved here in 2008 and have known them for 14 years now. From the very first time, they all treated me with respect and kindness, very genuine and humble... GREAT PEOPLE!! It used to be you could dine in at both places. The atmosphere was wonderful until covid hit. Now it's only take out. The food is superior, and everyone still remembers my name... love them! Continued success!!“

“A family owned & operated establishment. We ordered Thai Yellow Curry, Orange Chicken, Lemongrass Chili Chicken, and Pineapple Fried Rice. We loved everything except the Pineapple Fried Rice. It was heavily oiled, lacking the sweetness, flavor & depth we had experienced from eating the other dishes. However, the food & service are good enough for us to certainly visit again.“

“Ordered online for the first time tonight. The process was quick and easy. Got there a little earlier than pickup time so had a drink while we waited. Very cool atmosphere, buzzing, and super friendly staff! Will definitely be back! And the pizza was pretty darn good too, ready to try all the different pies! 😍“

“How can you beat $5 tacos and $5 tequila shots? The food was fantastic and flavorful, perfectly seasoned, high-quality fish and chicken and skirt steak. I have never had Spanish rice that is so delicious. And the tequila and mezcal shots were fun...such an interesting variety of flavors. Really friendly staff, great service with a high knowledge of mezcal. Highly recommended. Very nicely decorated bar. And check out my boot shaped shot glass : )“

“We came on the recommendation of an acquaintance and were so happy that we did. My beef rice plate with house-made fish sauce was yummy and my partner's vegetarian (prob vegan) soup was also excellent. Friendly service and fast food prep didn't hurt, either. “Amazing food quality, prompt and considerate service, and pleasant dining atmosphere. Our party stopped in for a sit-down dinner and we were promptly seated, but then had to pivot to takeout. The staff was quickly accommodating and brought our food soon after we put in our order. The quality was delicious - fantastic flavors, tender meat, and quality ingredients.“

“Picked up food to go. The environment looked intimate and the food was really good especially for the price. Prices are friendlier than Syun Izakaya but equally as good. I got the katsu don, salmon poke don and the omakase roll which were all very good and portions were generous.“

“I am a local guide who does reviews on restaurants and I am happy to recommend Mandarin China Restaurant! They are consistently delicious, the seasoning is spot on and the meat is tender and the vegetables crispy. The portions are generous and the timing for pickup is generally right on target. Forest Grove has a real winner with Mandarin China Restaurant!!!“

“I finally got a chance to stop by again. Unfortunately had to take it to go but while I was waiting literally every employee who saw me asked if I was helped. While I waited watching one of their big screens I noticed 3 servers ask one man if he needed another beer.The last one took the glass so theyd stop asking. Great food and better service.“

“Is it just a sushi bar? No, it’s much more. They have a wide and varied menu. Many cooked dishes, pork, beef, fish, noodles. All cooked to perfection. Get a seat at the bar and watch the two sushi chefs creating their magic. Great restaurant. A must try if you’re in Hillsboro.“

“Don’t sleep on this spot. Even if you’re not interested in fusion pizza, their basic pizzas are excellent. This is by far my favorite pizza spot in Hillsboro. It’s kinda tucked away in a hidden position next to winco but it’s worth your time. On top of that an 18inch thin crust is 27 dollars. Huge pie for the money.“

“Stopped by for lunch to go. Got the Bacon cheese burger. It was delicious! Bacon was crispy, was the best messy burger ever! The truffle fries( which I got two orders of) had the perfect blend of truffle and salt taste with or without the fry sauce. To top it all off for my drink I had the root beer float. It was absolutely delicious.“

“Edited review: having had multiple great experiences at this location today I was let down. I ordered online and picked up takeout. Did not check the pizza until I got home and was missing multiple toppings or had been replaced with others. I double checked that I had picked up the correct order and the notes are what should be on the pizza.
Missing: pesto sauce, feta, spinach, tomato, mushroom.
Added that I did not ask for: pepperoni, green bell pepper, white sauce, bacon.“

“We decided to swing by Baja Fresh just before 9 p.m., relying on Google's listing that stated they were open until 10 on Saturdays. However, it turned out that Google had the wrong information about their operating hours. Despite this setback, the staff at Baja Fresh were incredibly understanding and patient with us. They took our orders efficiently, and we ended up enjoying our meal at home.“
