“This family owned place is a staple i tell people about across the world (littorally multiple times while in japan). This is the place that makes mexican food well. It is always made well without fail. I miss the toppings bar from a few years back, but the whole restaurant always feels up to par or exceeding standards. “We picked Elk Cove as a winery to stop at on our way to the coast for our honeymoon and are so glad we did. We had a great time here from start to finish. We did a tasting of pinot noirs with Gloria who gave us an awesome experience and a wealth of information about the winery and what we were tasting. We really enjoyed the Pinot Noir Reserve and ended up buying a bottle to take with us. The patio and view overlooking the vineyard just can’t be beat. There is also a fairly large indoor space with ample seating if the weather isn’t cooperating. Note that they appeared to be doing some renovations outside but this in no way affected the experience, view, etc. If you’re looking for a great wine experience in the valley, look no further!“

“My husband and I have driven past this place for years and on a whim, decided to try it. The environment was cozy and felt like a perfect small town diner. We ordered two chicken fried steaks, chef salad, rosemary fries and 3 bacon, two eggs and pancakes. The food was beautiful and the portions were large! The pancakes were fluffy and moist and the garlic bread that came with my chef salad, made my husband smile. Overall the food was fufilling and didnt make us feel groggy afterwards. The waitress was attentive and super sweet. Worth the money we paid!“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“We took a day trip to visit the winery during a girls trip to Portland and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip! We were 5 ladies in our 40s and we had the pleasure of Sara being our guide for the tasting and she did not disappoint! We sat on the patio and the views and weather were both divine! Sara served us yummy wine and explained all the terminology and history and absolutely made our time there so fun! We cannot recommend this place enough! One of our friends does not drink and enjoyed the fresh juice flight! Great time! Thank you Sara for the wine and the laughs!“

“This is little cozy restaurant. They have tasty food. I A-Rok burger, kiddo had Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My burger was good , cooked to perfection. Little pink. Kiddo said their sandwich was delicious and would order it again. Service was excellent. Never saw the bottom of my cup.
