“My husband and I come to Gladstones about once a month but this time I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was amazing. Way more than I could eat by myself, beautiful AND tasty. Plus, Gladstones has installed some new cushy booths. If you haven't been here yet, it's a great neighborhood restaurant.“

“The servers here were kind and very attentive. BUT, my friend ordered a N.A. beer and she was brought an alcoholic one. She didn’t notice until she started to feel buzzed. Luckily she’s not years into sobriety, but that’s a pretty big mess up in my book. We also felt that the plates were a bit rushed considering that the reservation slot is for 2 hours.
The food was hit or miss for us. The soup, the pasta and the bourbon ice cream were phenomenal. The crepe and the cake were good. The tuna was meh.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but both felt that we didn’t need to run out and tell people about the restaurant.“

“February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine! Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive. Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. “We were there for the first time on the evening of January 10, 2026. We sat at the bar for a bit because we were a little early for our reservation. Michelle brought us a couple of beers and we ordered a plate of six oysters. She chatted cheerfully with us while she busily poured drinks for others and then introduced us to her two sons and a son’s girlfriend, who all also work there. Everyone was so friendly and kind! When our table was ready, Michelle thanked us for being there and said that it was great to meet us. At our table, we ordered another half dozen oysters, a caesar salad, a couple more beers, and two big bowls of cioppino. Absolutely delicious with the large, thick slices of freshly-made garlic bread for dunking. This place is a true gem. Four generation of family working there and their love for the place and what they do shows. Can’t wait to go back!!“

“I've. eaten all over Southeast Asia including street amrt I've eaten at many Southeast Asian restaurants, including in Cambodia, Malaysia and Laos, and can unequivocally say this is one of the best meals I've ever had. “I went to Bar Loon with my daughters. We sat in an outdoor area, picnic bench style seating. I got the hotdog- super big and very tasty. The onions on top were cooked down to a sweet n tasty topping which paired so well with the salty hotdog, and a wonderful soft bun. “The Gibson came into the village surrounded by an assortment of other bars and knocked it out of the park. They carved out a perfect niche that didn’t exist and has become a fast neighborhood staple. The atmosphere, staff and quality of product never disappoints.

“I would love to call Addy’s a “hidden” gem, but they are far too busy to ever be considered hidden! This cute sandwich shop is only open 4 hours a day, only Monday-Friday so if you want to try it you should plan to wait a bit for your food.

The wait is worth it however! They serve delicious sandwiches and salads, with generous portions for the price. I always enjoy checking what the daily sandwich and salad specials will be. They are usually creative, tasty, and healthy.

For me the tomato tapenade panini always hits the spot. They don’t skimp on the mozzarella! I usually get a turkey salad too, and it’s always chock full of cubed turkey and avocado.

The real pro tip here is to get some of the free sauces next to the water station. I love the green sauce they have. I would buy it by the bottle if I could!

The employees here are friendly! I mentioned that I wish I had gotten a side of the wild rice salad they had today, and the employee behind the register kindly gave me a sample!

The Spinach & Chevre salad was fantastic, although I wasn't super excited about the dressing. The server was very friendly and even voided our ticket so we could get the points added to my niece's account. However, they forgot to put her panini in our To Go order. Nevertheless, I'll be going back to Pizzacato many times in the future. I liked the simple and quiet atmosphere. Parking is not easy though. We had to drive around before finding a spot. Next time, we will park in the back and walk on the pathway between the buildings.“

Indoor seating with booths, tables, an arcade, and a play area. It's casual and family friendly, good for bringing kids since they have something to do while waiting for the food. Not a fancy date spot but perfectly fine for a quick meal.“

“It's a hole-in-the-wall Cantonese BBQ spot. There are roast ducks and a whole pig prominently on display, a box full of bags of raw chicken feet right next to it, a whiteboard with prices, a couple cheap tables off to the side, complementary loose leaf tea if you eat in, and maybe 3-5 employees hanging around, one of whom speaks a little bit of english. You know what to expect if you have been to places like that. This one sports unusually tall ceilings and a few dim sum items in addition to the usuals. I did not think there were places like this in Portland.

The duck and roast pork were absolutely excellent, best I have had for a long time. The char siu was extremely tender and flavorful too! Next time I'll be sure to try the chicken. Service was... well, if you are a monolingual english speaker, expect to have some trouble and do a lot of pointing, but everyone tries their best and seems kind and helpful. Atmosphere was perhaps not great on its own merits but super authentic and I wouldn't trust a place like this if it looked too polished.
