“We have eaten here three times over the last year or so. Sarah has been our server each time and she is amazing. She is super helpful in navigating the menu to help identify dishes that fit dietary needs/restrictions and is very attentive throughout the meal. She also is very kind and takes time to talk and get to know you and makes the dining experience as positive as she can. Also, the food is incredibly delicious and never disappoints!“

“I had my first visit here, first time tasting Troon's wines, in fact, last week, along with my sister and mother. Highly impressive place, wines, and people. Both reds and whites--Syrah & Roussanne, especially--were outstanding and would be stylistically familiar to those who mostly drink French wines. They taste like a place, which is as the best wine should. Superior service and knowledge from the woman who took care of us--Desireé, I believe. Outstanding.

BTW, I've lived in Napa Valley for almost 30 years and lived in Alexander Valley/Sonoma County before that. I wish there were more wineries down here that shared Troon's qualities. One side comment--while I have trouble finding the scientific basis of biodynamic ag, I can't argue with the wines.“

I am very impressed with this amazing restaurant and had no idea this level of restaurant dining was in our town. Will be back as they serve lunch, too.

Felt classy but cozy. Their drinks are made the right way. You must try a lavender lemon drop made with tequila. If you like whiskey, they know how to make a perfect drink per my mom.

Nothing was good it was all excellent.

“Enjoyed our lunch here with some friends. Tried the chicken satay, the peanut sauce is tasty. Then had a lunch special and some noodles. All had nice flavor. The staff there are all very friendly- you will enjoy coming here and there is something for everyone on the menu.“

The spring rolls were fresh and crisp, the vegetable tempura was perfectly light and crunchy, and the chicken Pad Thai was packed with flavor—just the right balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!“

The lunch specials are especially convenient, as we each get to pick what we want. They are also the BEST DEAL IN TOWN; a mini pizza of your choice and a soda for under $9.00!!! Our office has also taken advantage of the monthly specials from time to time, creating a variety of flavors enjoyed by all. We have dined in, had delivery, and picked up our food. When we dine in or pick up, we are greeted with friendly faces and knowledgeable staff. When we get delivery, Abby's brings us paper plates, napkins, ranch, parmesan and red pepper flakes in abundance.“

“Arrived in Grants Pass Oregon tired from driving up from Lakeport, CA starving to death… checked into the Motel 6 with my pooch. My dog Charlie and I, walked the 2 blocks up to Julie‘s Uptown Bar and Grill to get an order to go.Cute funky place , very nice staff—-large parking lot if you don’t walk . They have an outdoor patio ( with ashtrays btw!) which was empty on Memorial Day weekend Saturday. 5:00 pm except for Charlie and me to grab a beer while I waited.I ordered the Saturday night special of Lasagna, which I don’t know if it was homemade, I think it was, but it was awesome. I love this place. I’ll be stopping here next time and try some of their other food. Many big chain motels nearby. Give it a chance. I wasn’t disappointed“

“We had the most laid back experience at the Tap Rock this evening. We arrived earlier than our reservation, and chose to sit near the bar while we waited for patio dining to become available. We were immediately greeted by Carlie with menus and some time. Tom, the bartender stopped by to check on us and took our drink orders. Blaine came in rather quickly to escort us to our patio seating, and our cocktails followed immediately. We placed our order and enjoyed the view, low music, and the general atmosphere of Tap Rock. Our appetizer, the dynamite logs, were absolutely delicious. Our entrees soon followed. I had the fish and chips, and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which was absolutely huge! Our meals did not disappoint. Service was on point. Food was amazing. Drinks were delicious!“
