“My husband and I went to Twisted Cork and had an incredible experience. We had drinks, I had a glass of local red wine, and he had a Manhattan- both were great. We started our meal sharing the steamer clams (I could have eaten the broth like soup) and Rogue Chicken Salad- we opted to have the pomegranate vinaigrette rather than blue cheese dressing- and it was incredible. For our entrees Andrew had the brisket plate and I had the salmon plate. UNREAL. The food was exceptional- every item on our plates from the grilled bok choy and brussel sprouts, whipped sweet potatoes, and my mushroom risotto, to the perfectly cooked brisket and salmon. I can’t rave enough! We wrapped up our night sharing the sticky toffee pudding (mouth watering just thinking about it) This place definitely sets itself apart from the other local restaurants as far as food and atmosphere goes ! 10/10“

“My Husband and I went there this evening for Valentine's Day. We had been to a few other Restaurants in town that just kept letting us down. WOW! What can I say? Let me start with the atmosphere, tasteful soft lighting, our server Christina was amazing! So sweet and attentative. She made sure we were looked after at all times! The food? Again, just wow! So good!! We got home, sat on the couch and just relaxed. There was so much food. The prices were so incredibly reasonable and you don't leave hungry. Our new favorite restaurant! You could tell how good they are by the waiting time of people who didn't make a reservation. Make a reservation. In and out within 45 minutes!“

“On point every time I order in or take out! Flavor, service, atmosphere and portion size is always generous and consistent. Occasionally I will get thai food from the other thai restaurants here in town when they are closed, but its just never as good as Thai BBQ!

Everything is good, but try the BBQ Rib combo, they fall off the bone with flavor, you definetly wont be disappointed! Our other family favorites are Green Curry, Volcano Wings, Orange chicken combo and Crispy chicken combo. The combo dinners have generous portions consisting of soup, crispy spring rolls, entree with 2 sides, AND ice cream for dessert!

Added bonus, if you dine in there is an amazing display of minerals, petrified wood and fossils! We eat here at least 4 times a month. It is Fire! 🔥 Support local business owners who are invested in our community!“

“Arrived in Grants Pass Oregon tired from driving up from Lakeport, CA starving to death… checked into the Motel 6 with my pooch. My dog Charlie and I, walked the 2 blocks up to Julie‘s Uptown Bar and Grill to get an order to go.Cute funky place , very nice staff—-large parking lot if you don’t walk . They have an outdoor patio ( with ashtrays btw!) which was empty on Memorial Day weekend Saturday. 5:00 pm except for Charlie and me to grab a beer while I waited.I ordered the Saturday night special of Lasagna, which I don’t know if it was homemade, I think it was, but it was awesome. I love this place. I’ll be stopping here next time and try some of their other food. Many big chain motels nearby. Give it a chance. I wasn’t disappointed“

“I wanted to give the entire staff at Abbys a huge shout out. They service was wonderful and generous. We had a birthday party there with 40 guests!! They had all our orders out rapidly and the kids had a blast gaming and playing in the arcade. 10/10 for bday parties and large events!“

“There was a much older woman who was our waitress who was exceptionally rude. She didn't bring my wife's soda, and when asked for it, she acted like we were asking her for something that was just too much trouble. My wife's chili-dog was very tasteless, and obviously microwaved. I had the Piper burger, which was close, but just not the same. When I tried to offer a suggestion on how to make it more like the original, the server got visibly upset. She also denigrated my wife for not finishing her meal (she only eats small amounts at one time, and at 60 years old she certainly doesn't need someone telling her how to eat!). That woman needs some customer service training, as her rudeness guaranteed WE WON'T BE BACK. There's LOTS of places to get a burger, don't waste your money at this place.“

“This review is long overdue. I received a call from another restaurant the morning of my mother‘s surprise 90th birthday party, they called to cancel. With only three hours notice I was in a panic to find another place for 20 people to go. I called blackbear diner and asked if they could handle a party that large on such short notice. They informed me that they usually need a week so they can prepare for that large of a party. I asked to speak to the manager her name was Trina, I explained my situation to her and she said come on in and we will figure it out. I told her we were in no hurry and that fast service was not an issue. I started to cry in relief that Trina did whatever she could for me and my mother. She made my mother‘s birthday some special and I could never repay her for her kindness. Our waitress is wonderful and patience. I can’t say enough about the restaurant and especially Trina. Thanks for all you did.“

“Best Egg Foo Young i have ever had, i have consumed Egg Foo young 200 times in my life. This unexpected little hole in the wall was a gem. They presented me with a small white box and a even smaller rice box i was a little dismayed but i took it home hopeful of getting lucky (ive had bad egg foo young a few times as well) i opened it and immeidiately was unsure what i was looking at. It was a stir fry covered in sauce and tucked undeneath were my coveted patties. i asked for extra sauce and was very very impressed with all of it not one critique in the negative except more rice“

“We’re always here either Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Jerry is the reason we started coming here. We go to the bar side when he’s working. The atmosphere is authentic, fuzzy gold wallpaper and chandeliers. The restrooms/bar are clean. The food is delicious. They cater to your spice level and of all things they have delicious hamburgers! Even on the restaurant side, Jennifer(the manager) is always making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. Oh and the prices are reasonable.“
