And the customer service from the wife of the chef was TOP NOTCH ! It was cold so she told us to wait in the car and called us when our order was ready so we didn’t have to stand around ! “It's one of the best bbq around! Anytime we go to the moda center, my wife and I share an entree. The portions are huge! I would highly recommend stopping here if you're nearby! We love the pulled pork and macaroni, but everything is so good there!“

“We had J&L cater our 130 person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. “I had to run to the post office and just barely made it after leaving work a little early so I could do so. Tired and relieved that I had retrieved the mail I had thought might have been lost, I made my way out the door and back towards my truck. Across the street from the post office there are plenty of food carts to choose from, I made my way there and chose JJ’s BBQ randomly as I knew I’d have a great choice of protein and honestly the smell pulled me right in! A sweet Smokey flavor fueled my hunger as I looked upon a bountiful menu. I inquired about the dinner options to the man at the window” how much for extra ribs I asked he told me 3-4 for bucks each I hope I’m not short changing him and that that wasn’t special treatment bc it felt like he was being extra kind to me and created me with a smile. I don’t know 3-4 bucks each sounds cheap considering how tender they were! He urged me to just get double ribs and that that would be plenty of food. I would have expected him to try and get the most money out of me as possible but this was definitely not the case. I looked through the sides unfortunately the fresh corn bread was not up for another hour so I went with potatoe salad. I got my food in a timely manner and sat down eagerly and absolutely demolished everything like I was still in the Military, I was freaking starving after work all day. When I got up to throw my box away the man at the window comes out and say you ate that to fast let me get you some chicken. What the heck now this guys giving me food! He comes out immediately with two hot pieces of chicken that were delicious. I left the place full and honestly I felt like the guy genuinely just enjoyed watching me eat like it made home happy bc he gave me a smile like I don’t usually see. I will be back and these guys are super friendly!!“

“BEST PLACE TO GET ASIAN FOODS!!! I was traveling from a different state here, and my group was really hungry, and we wanted Asian foods since we're Asian. This place surprised us so much. It tastes so much like our home country. I couldn't provide any picture because we were really hungry from the long trip and just dove in to eat. The food reminds me of my home country, and it was amazing. The prices are affordable. The service is awesome. My sister dropped her orange juice and got a new one without extra charges. It looks small and old, but the food isn't. The quality is fresh. The people are really friendly. Definitely coming back again.“

“Overall I had a solid experience. My food was fresh and good and my order was correct. I put in an online order which is why i am knocking it down a star. I usually add extra meat to my burgers. But online ordering doesnt have a provision to add extra meat. And when I called the restaurant i was told to place my order online. Which isn’t something i was happy about. Also I received practically a whole head of lettuce between the 2 burgers i ordered.“

We always order the brisket. This visit we were offered the lean or more fatty version. We chose the lean as it soaks up more of the delicious sauce options.

“Oh my goodness Wonderboy’s is good! We had a Taco with Brisket, Burnt Ends, and the Beeferton Cheese Steak. All of it was fantastic. The brisket fell apart in the your mouth and the flavor was perfect. All the fresh elements complimented the heavy element deliciously. The Mac and Cheese was Bomb! I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. We devoured it 🤣 Of you are in Portland or in the neighborhood definitely stop by and give Wonderboy’s Smokestack a try! It is well worth it!“

“I have had BBQ across the United States and this is on the higher end. This is one of places I will go back to. Service is quick, prices are great and you can't beat the food. Only complaint I have is I like a finer chop and a tangy dressing. So I would give Hog Wild a 4 1/2 stars, great job guys.“
