“We had the Charcuterie. It was good. They had friendly staff, good selection of beer at a fair price, and the facility was big and roomy including the outside seating. We will probably be back to try the pizza. The pizzas seem kind of small for the price they are charging.“

“This is a very cool little stop for a quick pint and a place to chill. MadCow Brewing Co. has a small food and snack menu and a rotating tap list. I recommend the huckleberry cream ale. The staff is very friendly. They host trivia nights and fun events, and food trucks stop by on some nights. A great local spot to hang out.“

“My go-to spot for well crafted cider in southeastern Portland. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area as well as plenty of comfortable spots inside the taproom, too. Parking is never an issue, although newcomers may think their GPS has led them astray (Yes, really, it is at the back of an industrial park.) I would highly recommend the Scrumpy or Sun-Burned Santa ciders (the latter being seasonal for the summer, good chance). Their happy hour menu is a good value if you're seeking a quick bite and sip.“

“Great local taproom. They play great music on a double record player, and great live music on the weekends. The cider in particular is very good. The food is hot or miss, the pizza is great if a little pricey, the apps and sandwiches are getting better.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessed by wheelchair that I could see. At least one or 2 steps at every entrance.“

“Our first visit . . instantly charmed. We wanted to have a pre event drink or two before our corporate dinner up the street and are we ever glad we did. “Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

“Tonight was my first night at the Bagdad Theater in Portland, OR. I went with a friend to see the movie Fight Club in 4k followed by a Q&A with the author of the book, Chuck Palahniuk. The historic venue is absolutely breathtaking, the movie and sound quality was fantastic, the staff and vibe where amazing, and meeting the author of one of my favorite stories was just the cherry on top of my experience. If you have never been to the Bagdad Theater in Portland Oregon, I really can't recommend it enough!! 10 stars 😀“

“Drinks, food and service is always great! I’ve grown accustomed to driving to Camas for dinner or catching the bus over for a drink from Curt the bartender. My favorites are the weekly sandwich specials since I’m usually there for dinner, Brussel Sprouts and the wings. For drinks, the old fashioned and sometimes the whiskey sour when I don’t drive myself.

“Stopped in for a date night dinner to check out the atmosphere and seasonal menu. Big Grateful Dead fan so I was excited!! Walked in and they were playing Jerry over the speakers and the place is filled with Grateful Dead decor. We walked around and took it all in while waiting for our drinks to arrive. It is mostly handmade decor but there is a lot to look at.

Started with a Cider Flight and a Strawberry Lemonade. The Ciders were good, with the Blackberry was the best in my opinion. Strawberry Lemonade was weak and didn't taste like lemonade. I think that lemonade wa the only disappointing aspect to the meal.

Food came and we decided to split a Tuna Melt with Cajun Fries and Cheese Curds. The Tina Melt was toasted to perfection and delicious. Not too much sauce so it didn't drip a ton. Cajun Fries had a kick and paired expertly with the Peppercorn Ranch, which is maybe some of the best Ranch I've EVER had!! Cheese Curds were extra crunchy and delicious! Overall, the food did not disappoint and was just enough to fill us up!!

“The group I was with booked the second floor. There was another group there as well. Very loud and echos. Could not communicate with anyone more than 3' away.

Food and beer were good but the person taking orders stood at one end of the room. With a bigger crowd, it was difficult to get to him. Think they lost a lot of sales because folks sat with no food or drinks because he didn't visit the tables to take orders.“

It feels like I tucked away little hidden gem, much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Filled with light and plants, it's a spacious area that can accommodate any size of group. “We had the most incredible time on Friday. It was pouring and we sat at the bar and on their covered patio. The beer was incredible, cocktails out of this world, and the best cider. Andrew was our bartender and I tell you we’ve never had service that good. We also had the honor of meeting the brew master and it was so fun to learn about his masterpieces! Music was great. “This is our local pub and the default place to grab drinks and dinner after a long week. There's always a great selection of local beers on draft, and the seasonal cocktails are a favorite. I often order the Blue Bayou salad, the Portland dip sandwich, or the Captain Neon burger, always with tots. Sadly the Scooby Snacks are no longer available here, so we'll occasionally travel to McMenamins locations further afield for those.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. If I have one criticism, it's that they often seem understaffed here, with one server to wait all the tables and tend bar. But ultimately it doesn't matter, I'll be going here until I die.“

“McMenamins Chapel Pub is such a gem! I ordered the Communications Breakdown sub with the Beyond Meat veggie patty and it was excellent. They make their own sauces and you can really taste the freshness—everything came together perfectly. The fries were crispy and flavorful, and the portion was generous for the price.

The ambiance is fantastic—relaxed, warm, and just very “McMenamins” in the best way. The staff was friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Overall, a great meal, great atmosphere, and great value. I’ll definitely be back!“

They should honestly have 1-10 scale signs available to heckle the drivers that cant handle the intersection. Its hilarious how many people fail here.“
