“I had my first visit just this last week and I was really happy to see what a great, healthy and delicious menu it has! 100% rating on all flavors! Chicken kebab, Moroccan mint tea, Mezza sampler and the chicory salad all have high quality ingredients. The value of that for me is why I can enjoy dining out these days. Not just a menu of burgers and fries or tacos that are easy to make at home. I will keep Cypress on my top list of local restaurants worth returning too! The drink menu was hand made and menu was on a chalkboard. This is my kind of place. The atmosphere was lovely and had the perfect Oregon welcoming vibe. All the employees made you feel welcomed and knew exactly what they were doing. I had the Strip Loin steak dish and I can confidently say this was one of the best steaks I have ever had at a restaurant. I asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly. I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! “This is country French cuisine. Plentiful and delicious. They take the comfort food preparation very seriously but true to Oregon, you can show in your Sunday best or jeans and feel comfortable. We celebrate We drive from Hillsboro a few times a year. The staff always warm and friendly. Just go, and make it a special drive date.”

“Really nice tasting room with a lot of bold reds that aren't Pinot Noir. This was refreshing. The way the flights go is they pour enough for everyone into a small carafe and a designee at your table needs to do the pours to make them even. While a little daunting, it was a fun game.

The wine was superb and we really enjoyed everything we tried, ultimately purchasing a few cases.

“Don’t let the unassuming shopping center location deter you. We love it here. The food is so delicious. All the servers that we’ve had are incredibly nice, attentive, and make great recommendations. Either aquachile or ceviche is a must. Both incredibly fresh, flavorful and delicious and have us dreaming of afternoons in Sayulita. We also generally get the fish fillet. They also have great margaritas. If you like sweet and spicy try the chamoy mango margarita. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I tried this cafe for the first time a few days ago. The first thing I noticed was the friendly service/atmosphere. This is a family run business and you can tell that they really care about the experience of the customers who dine there. The food is excellent. I tried the yellow curry. I love curry dishes, and this was seriously the best yellow curry dish I've ever had. Flavors are wonderful. Will definitely be back.”

“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip. The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic—so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the ½ Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. And let’s not forget the in-house wheat bread—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible! I highly recommend asking for her—she was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. To finish, we split a lemon cupcake—our only regret was sharing it! “Two dogs is a great addition to downtown McMinville. It has a rich selection of foods from salads, hot sandwiches, sliders, and burgers. It is on the pricey end, but I equate it to a more affordable option than a pelican pub. It has a very impressive selection of locally brewed taps throughout Oregon, that are very very good, selections of beer, hard seltzers and ciders that are sure to impress the palate. A criticism I have is that the burgers tend to be on the greasy side, they are rich in flavor, but all the burgers come with two 1/4 pound Pattie’s, which I would suggest to only have one patty with the option to add an addition for more money. I would recommend this place to more people if they made that change and made there prices reflect that change. The burgers are over the top in grease.”

The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!”

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.”

“Best house made Pot Stickers in Yamhill County. The atmosphere is vintage 1970's Chinese restaurant style. The bar has had a small renovation the flooring has been redone and additional seating has been added. The service is always great and the food is scratch made. When you order sweet and sour chicken you actually get pretty good sized pieces of chicken not just breading. Their pot stickers are large and made in house not frozen! We have tried almost everything on the menu and every dish has been excellent. Our favorite go to is an order of pot stickers. Then we pick 3 from their Pick Favorites selection; crab puffs, BBQ pork, and sweet and sour chicken. Seriously the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. I like that they do not use artificial coloring or MSG. The owners are very nice and great people which is refreshing. They also own Kin's Bar and Grill in Lafayette, Or. I was told we could get the same amazing pot stickers there as well. FYI they do have a lot of pool tournaments at any given time. We still got great service and food even with so much going on.”

We ordered 6 pieces of the chicken tenders, large jojos, and mac & cheese, plus 2 drinks with a total amount of about $25.00. Staff is friendly and helpful. It seemed that this location gets a lot of foot traffic because there was a constant influx of people coming in and out of this convenience store. This was our first time stopping by at this location and they left a good impression on both me and my husband. We will stop by again at the convenience store if we are running errands in McMinnville again. Keep up the awesome customer service!”

We have eaten at Boba trucks before. They are a bit pricey but the food is well worth it (or we wouldn’t be coming back!)! The corn on the cob is addictive! No other way to put it! This location went all out! I got the sweet chili chicken with rice. There was actually aggressive posturing over it when I got it home! Food worth fighting over! I love watching people eat. Their facial expressions tell all! The convict “I will kill you if you even look at my food” glare. The “that was better than sex” closed eyed contentment. The covetous look of a child who just ate your portion!!! That chicken was so good! We usually get their hotdogs but, man that chicken was so fa king good! I know what we are having for lunch today!”

“Toppings seem to be fresh and plentiful. But, their Original Crust is so thin they might as well call it thin crust. I doubt it's fooling anybody. The people are friendly IF you are friendly with them. If you question anything negative about the product, i.e. what happened to the original crust? They get defensive. If you have an attitude then they probably won't deal well. The pizza is better than Domino's but probably not as good as the designer, more expensive pizzas.”
