“We had such a great experience at pFriem in Milwaukie, and a huge part of that was Amanda behind the bar. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to chat with throughout our visit.

Amanda took the time to answer all of our beer questions and made excellent recommendations based on what we liked. I had never even heard of a side pour before, and she explained it perfectly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

It’s clear she loves what she does and knows her beer. Great service like hers makes you want to come back. Thanks, Amanda, for making our visit so memorable!“

“Super amazing time. I would recommend taco Tuesday and getting the fusion birria and Vietnamese tacos. Also the pork belly skewers. The mint peach cider and the #13 kosch is also good. The green beans and the shishito peppers were amazing starters and on the side of the meat.“

“Some of the best beer I had anywhere in Oregon. The brewer here has her recipes absolutely dialed in. The Summerfield was especially creative and delicious, I honestly wish I could order cans of their beers in California. I didn’t get a chance to try the food, but I definitely will next time. I can’t wait to visit Portland again and come back for more.“

“We live 3/4 across the country in Indiana but every time we come to town we always visit the Ale & Cider House. The lady who owns the place and always seems to take care of us and is always very friendly. As for the beers and ciders they are the best we’ve had. Loved the ciders before they filtered them but still taste just as good but without the “look”.😉 A true gem that you must try next time you are in the quaint little town of West Linn. Thanks for the awesome drinks and hospitality!!“

Beer is mid. I tried Fracture's Pale and west coast IPA: nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. Very west coast flavor that neither pushes boundaries or offends.

“Heartbroken and utterly gutted to discover that the restaurant and taproom is closed. I made plans every Pickathon to visit and enjoy a taster round and one of their signature dishes and the wonderful servers. I feel fortunate that I have enjoyed for the past three years. I would love to know where the chef went. His pulled pork bbq sandwich, fish and chips were off the hook.“

A friend and I decided to give it a try last night and were super glad we did! In general, a five star experience all the way around. Excellent service, atmosphere, food and drink. In particular . . I really loved the espresso martini . . and the desert that we shared, was virtually one of the very best I have ever had!

“Zoiglhaus has turned into a good food hall with about 8 places to order from. They still have their signatures beers on tap and a small menu of yummy German food options. You can pick up canned beer from the cooler as well.

“Our first time here and the beer was good! The food ops are endless with all the food carts! The place was hopping for a Friday night and it is family and pet friendly. I couldn’t believe how many kids there were!“

“Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

One piece of advice..... GET THE HOUSEMADE FRY SAUCE! It is so good.

Atmosphere 10/10 - music playing but comfortable level. Garage door was open and it was so nice.

“Listen up pimps--if you want a chill spot to grab a beer and a german brat so good that it was probably obtained through a series of war crimes, then come down to Mcmenamins in Hillsdale. Ask for Ashley, pimps. She'll make sure you and your bro can reminisce about how much better the ipod era was while dining in the absolute lap of luxury. 12/10.“

At the Blue Moon on NW 21st in Portland, I found all those qualities. The warmth between fellow employees and even the manager was life affirming. The service was attentive and genuine. The food was good. The star of the show is the bar staff and their ethereal cocktail creations. The Quarterly Review cocktail is notably the best gin cocktail I've ever been blessed to consume. My faith in humanity is, at least temporarily, restored. Thank you Blue Moon staff for an exceptional experience.“

“I had their Moscow mule. perfect! and their pub burger. out of the world. home cooked quality with a very tasty juicy organic patty, exquisitely thin sliced cucumber, sauce to kill for and fresh lettuce (not ice berg). hit the spot. Fries were fresh and went well with the rest. the warm unpretentious informal welcoming ambience was so quintessential Portland and Oregon.
