“While visiting Nye Beach, a friend and. I visited this restaurant. I HAVE NEVER EATEN AT A BETTER THAI RESTAURANT! I had the pumpkin red curry. I ordered a side of peanut sauce and a side of cashews to put in the meal. I savored every bite! The staff was exceptional and prices very reasonable. It was so delicious that we went a second time, and then I ordered a meal to take home before going home to Coos Bay! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!”

“Went looking for an amazing coffee shop in Newport and after 3 busts, found a real winner! When we came in there was plenty of seating, amazing treats on display for purchase, seasonal crafted drinks and a menu that had something for everyone! I got the blended matcha and my husband got the seasonal stroopwafel drink. Both drinks were made to order and they took care with our special instructions. Items came out quickly and tasted great! Next time I’ll need to pick up a goodie to try. 1st times the charm here. UltraLife has become one of my go-to places in Newport. Such a gem in the Nye Beach area. Perfect location near the beach, public restrooms and other shopping. Thank you UltraLife for your great menu options other than flat coffees, teas, ect. ❤️So good and friendly staff too! Also, check out the cute gift shop next door, connected to the Cafe.”

“WOW! We drove out of our way to get your famous cinnamon rolls, and they were dry and stale. My wife had never tried one and I kept bragging how good they were. We bought three that day Feb. 28, 2025. Just lost a faithful customer who drives 30 minutes out of our way.”

“Bier One Brewing in Newport is definitely going to be a regular stop for me in the future anytime I'm in Newport. They offer over a dozen craft beers either from their on brewery or locally brewed in the state. The small but well executed food menu offers several sandwich options such as the Cuban and baked Monte Cristo that are very satisfying. The interior features very fun seating option at the bar and tables through out and there are many games such as foosball, darts. Parking is also very easy at the public lot across the street. It's one block off the main 101 drag on the Front Side of downtown so if you didn't know this place was here you may miss it. It's worth seeking out.”

“Newport on a Tuesday night. We drove to five restaurants before finding Zach’s Bistro. Although He was sold out of almost everything, we were able to get the most amazing dinner ever! Even my five-year-old grandson loved the food. I had the fish cakes, with artichoke and dill. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. My daughter had perfectly cooked salmon dinner. Desert was an awesome chocolate, berry and browned marshmallow. I am so happy we stumbled on this fine dining restaurant on the edge of Nye Beach area in Newport Oregon!”

“Nothing happens when I click on the photo, it won’t let me load a photo of my black slimy translucent lettuce! The chalet is our go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch however, today I had a salad. It looked great, until I started eating it and got black, slimy, lettuce, and even the iceberg lettuce was mostly soggy. Some of the iceberg lettuce was even translucent, looking as if it had been frozen at one time. I would be humiliated to serve a disgusting salad like this one and not offering to replace the salad or remove the cost from the bill.”

“we stopped in today for lunch, as we have many times before. We have never been disappointed with the service or the food. I have never written a review before. but after today's fantastic experience I had too. I had the crawfish ettufee, and fish tacos. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger it all was fantastic. don't get me started on the Bloody Mary's, absolutely perfect! again if you haven't been there, I urge you go. thank you to the staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ yup 6 stars from us.”

“We had dinner there tonight and the food was fantastic. Charlie was our server, he provided a excellent experience. It was very busy, he took care of everyones needs efficiently. There was a family with 2 disabled people, his attentiveness and patience was fantastic. Will go back.”

“It took about 10 minutes to walk from the Inn. I made a reservation for 5:30, and it wasn't too crowded, probably because it was raining in November, so I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. All the appetizers look delicious♪”

“We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!”

“Of note, this Mo's does not do fried food and doesn't have the standard Mo's dishes. That said if you want more seafood options and a more seasonal menu, this is the place to go. Watching people unloading and cleaning fish and oysters just outside the window is definitely a plus

“we recently broke down in front of Bonnie's Espresso while traveling along the coast, the coffee was great and the people super nice. The tow truck could only take 1 person with them and my niece and I had no ride, I was going to try to cab but David the coffee guy said he would give us a ride into town, good coffee, good people !! They helped me set up and the wife who owns it helped with setup ideas when she saw me panic. Typically clean up is frantic at other places, but the husband insisted we NOT help. “Order was accurate, ready when I requested it to be, easy to pick up and delicious when cooked. Staff offered to help of needed and was very friendly. Store was clean and easy to locate. I love being able to order online and set a time to pick up as it eases some of my stress without taking up too much of time in my busy schedule.

Parking: The parking are has a small number of spots in front of store and can be tricky to get in and out of. However, there is a large parking lot behind it that is easier to get in and out of.”
