“WOW! A reasonably priced fine dining experience (all vegan!🌱)!
The portions were generous!
Had the PB+J cabbage- sounds weird but is so tasty! The risotto was warm and savory and the cured carrots in it were so so good! Got both pasta dishes - the parsnip carbonara and the wheat berry sausage agnolotti- both were divine!
The lighting was warm and dim. The decor is dark and moody and beautiful.“

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

“This place has amazing food! We were familiar with Loving Hut and were thrilled when we found this gem that has rebranded as Wok the Walk. The menu is just as tasty as we remember it with a unique spin on our favorites. The spicy cha cha is a definite go to and the wontons and Rangoon were delicious. The staff were also so kind. “I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!“

“Amazing creative dishes. Palm ceviche is fabulous as are all the entrees I can’t spell and the empanadas are flaky and delicious salsas aren’t really necessary but they are also incredible. Causas were wonderful. I couldn’t like this restaurant more if I was vegan. Highly recommend Epif.“

“I am truly kicking myself for living so close to this place and not trying it sooner. What an absolute delight, clearly made with so much meticulous craft and love. Tucked away and very easy to miss but easily one of my favorite desserts in town.

And I feel like I must make a point of saying that I am not vegan, so I'd give this place more than 5 stars for creating something that transcends my usual craving for dairy based desserts!

“This was my first meal in Portland and it did not disappoint! I was in search of a vegan and gluten free meal and found this thru my search! Walking up to it, I was a little skeptical and going inside was even more questionable because I don’t typically expect good food from a bar but holy crap! My vegan chicken sandwich on a gluten-free bun was fantastic! It was well flavored, and fresh and hot! Also gluten-free were the tator tots fried to perfection and crispy! I am so glad I did not judge this place by the outside and gave it a chance. I wish I had more time because I would have tried more items throughout my trip. Highly recommend, especially if you have food allergies or intolerances. The bartender was really friendly and helpful as well and provided great service!“

“Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. It was a 10/10! Most excellent meal. We also sat at the grille where all the steaks and chops were being prepared, and we loved feeling part of the process. Can't wait to bring family!“

First of the cold brew was delicious, a bit of milk and spices added. The seasoning on the fries was excellent and the Phad Thai was cooked perfectly. Also, the tofu was soft, not too firm. I would definitely go back.“

“Ice cream aside, all the workers we so nice so energetic and it was overall and amazing experience! They had a a banger playlist playing, I was jamming. For the icecream also really good I have only ever been to salt & straw one other time I don't remember it. They have good vegan flavors and were very conscious of my husband's gluten intolerance. “My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast!
