“Great wines from a local Oregon winery. Excellent prices and knowledgeable wine guy (Dan) thanks, we’ll be back“
“My niece invited my for a tasting. My first visit. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
We sat in the Hideaway an outdoor enclosure that was extremely welcoming. The wines that we tasted were excellent. I ended up joining one of their wines groups. Even though I live in Troutdale I can see myself enjoying the events there especially in the summer“
“Ghost Hill is a 10/10 spot for me. I’m a wine tour guide for Hidden Vineyards Wine Tours.
This is one of my favorite places to bring clients. Cam is such a welcoming owner, and now they’ve upgraded to a really special tasting room. If you’re in the Yamhill Carlton area, this is a place you have to visit.“
“Amazing small “boutique” winery highly recommend delicious wine. David is awesome very knowledgeable and down to earth awesome view awesome wine!!!!“
“We were recommended to visit this winery and the experience did not disappoint. Katie took care of us and took the time to explain to us the nuisances of wine tasting and wine making. She is very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm is contagious. Definitely will be coming back to visit with our friends and family members. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable experience.“
“Alexana is a must-visit destination in the Willamette Valley! The entire hospitality team, including Marcela, Mike, Julia, Carol, and Jeff, have consistently delivered stellar service and memorable experiences for us to cherish while enjoying unique wines crafted with an unwavering commitment to quality.
We find it so special to be able to sample and purchase incredible wines from each of their 3 estates spanning across Oregon, Napa, and Argentina.
Becoming members at Alexana is truly one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve made in the wine world, and I can’t recommend a visit to their beautiful estate enough.“
“Thank you again for your excellent hospitality. The wine tasting flights are amazing. Especially the Red flight. The explanations and side by side tasting advice give a great lesson in what James Frey is trying to do with his wine. and the 18401 cellars? OMG. Don't ever stop that! :) Thanks again.“
“We had a great tasting experience! The wine was very good and everything was explained well, we never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything extra but we did bring a bottle home of our favorite wine we tasted yesterday! Great experience, thank you!“
“Beautiful setting, spectacular wines & approachable prices. Loved meeting Pinot the Black Lab, who is the inspiration for the brand & will be sure to visit again.“
“As far as the Willamette Valley goes, this is a must hit. I know there are endless wineries here but let me be the one to help you narrow it down. And if you happen to be hosted by Tekla you are guaranteed a great time. Beautiful setting, excellent wine, and rich history. PGC or bust!“
“We were greeted into a really beautiful and serene space by Osmand and two welcome splashes of chardonnay. Our seating was perfect; two cozy chairs looking out into the beautiful Dundee hills. Our wine flight was superb (I am very impressed by the Pinot Noir here) and made even more amazing by Osmand's expansive knowledge and hospitality! He was super informative and personable. I really felt like I got a 10/10 experience at Domaine Roy & fils and cannot recommend it more. This is a must on your winery tours.“
“My girlfriend Linda and I both had a glorious and relaxing time sitting outside while tasting and enjoying numerous flights of wine. We purchased a food to accompany our wine making the experience quite delightfully delicious. My 6 bottles of Pinot Noir arrived in Vista, Ca in excellent shape last week after a long and hot summer. I look forward to enjoying this with Sockeye Salmon this coming weekend!!“
“Gorgeous winery in the Dundee Hills! This place has some neat history and ethics as well! Scott gave my husband and I a private tour and tasting. He was VERY knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time and even became members! The Chardonnay, Imprint Pinot, and bubbly were some of our favorites!
This is a winery to definitely check out!“
“Stopped here on a trip to Oregon. They weren’t able to accomodate us for a tasting ($30 apiece) so we bought a bottle of the chilled Pinot Noir and warm bread with olive oil. Lovely grounds with a beautiful view! Walk to the gift shop and taste all the delicious olive oils and balsamic vinegars for free!“
“We’ve been members since 2020 and have never been disappointed by the wine or the service we receive from Rex Hill. You can’t beat the pinot noir wines that come out of here.
Our most recent visit, we took advantage of their picnic area and had lunch before heading in to have a tasting flight. Joan treated us like old friends and gave us her insight on the wines we were drinking.“
“We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.
This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!
The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.
We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!“
“As a Hillsboro resident, I've been to a lot of tastings in Yamhill county. One piece of advice I'd give anyone, doing anything touristy is ask the locals where _they_ go. On our most recent trip we started out by pointing at a random vineyard on the map near our inn, then started asking for recommendations. Holloran was recommended no less than three times before we decided to give it a try on a Saturday afternoon.
I'm struggling to come up with the words. The wine is phenomenal, the staff is amazing. For the first time in my life I've decided to become a club member at a vineyard. Every wine they put in front of us during the tasting was unique, and delicious. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and charismatic. Plus, don't get me started on the salmon board...
Nothing else really matters does it? Great wine, good food, wonderful staff, and all at sensible prices? We will (obviously) be back.
Thank you!“
“Dusky goose is world class on every level. From the new world Pinots to their Chardonnay and everything in between this winery is incredible with their finesse and playfulness in wine making. Jorge and Angelica are unbelievably gracious hosts and made my wife Alicia’s birthday something we will never forget. 11/10. Go now.“
“David is wonderful! We last minute decided to do a harvest host camping stop and Fox Farm Winery made my day… David is kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You can feel the love in all the details of this really cute spot! Plus the wines were interesting and unique, we were on our way to a wedding and ended up with a box of bottles to share with others because we liked them all so much!“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“We had a reservation for a tasting and tour for 5 people at Laurel Ridge for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We were promptly greeted by Lucas, the wine maker for Laurel Ridge, who not only created and served amazing wine but did so with a welcoming and joyous ambiance. The tour was nothing short of amazing, demonstrating the importance of Lucas and his family members' roles. Lucas shared the history of Laurel Ridge, highlighting his father-in-law, mother-in-law and his wife, and how they established in Carlton and Bend. As someone who typically does not choose to drink red wine, I will continue to recommend Laurel Ridge Pinot noir moving forward. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to enjoy wine that is incredible, we highly recommend Laurel Ridge. To add to the experience, Jax the vineyard doggy hangs out on the property and makes the experience that much more exciting.“
“We can't say enough good things about Natalie's! We had a barrel tasting and was really impressed with everything we tried. Jeff made the experience highly customizable, taking our initial thoughts on what we enjoy and giving us the chance to try different levels of tannin, oak, age, etc. We brought home a Barbera an Malbec and wish we could have grabbed more. Worth every penny!“
“Nice people great wine!! I highly recommend going there.“
“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“
“Beautiful evening with unique flights, stunning views, and passionate staff. It’s incredible to learn entrepreneurs' stories and how invested, they are in winemaking. We loved the Rieslings, will definitely visit again!“
“My fiance and I stumbled upon this gem while in Portland, and were blown away by the experience. It's a lovely winery with great wine and the sweetest greeting party of Terra, Bill, and Sandy. You could feel how passionate they were for what they do and providing a wonderful experience for those who visit. We will be back!!!“
“Mary and Brandon were amazing! Wine was fantastic and the views were spectacular!“
“Phenomenal experience and service. Classy operation and on point with great service. I’m shocked about the William review as so not what we experienced. The best and certainly will be back! Have been coming here for 30 years and always like a first!“
“Great staff and service. Rachael is our favorite host and never disappoints.“
“Great wine, fermented in their handmade amphoras.“
“Ronnie and team made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped in! He answered all our questions and we loved hearing about the stories from the origins of the winery and their owners to the cute label! Thank you Ronnie and team for such an awesome experience and the best tasting/service of our day out in wine country!“
“Dropped in for an afternoon tasting and received excellent and attentive service from Emma. The tasting was educational and she truly did her part to make us feel welcomed. The wines were fantastic and everything I've been looking for in a valley pinot. We're now members so we'll be visiting again soon. Thanks again, TVA“
“I am visiting from Az and my son took me here, the owners have been here for a little less than a year and are simply wonderful. What a beautiful piece of the world with wonderful owners. Perfect“
“We had a delightful visit with Deb in the tasting room. She was fun, knowledgeable and interesting. As a bonus for us, as she lived in Cincinnati for three years, she made us very welcome. We would absolutely recommend this gem of a vineyard. The wines are incredible.“
“This place is a treasure! It’s a true American story. Excellent wine. Independent, family-owned, built from the ground up by the fruits of the family’s labor, without the benefits (or restrictions) of wealthy backing. We were treated to a tasting of amazing Pinot Noirs, a white Pinot Noir/Pinot Gris blend, a Riesling, and an outstanding Tempranillo/Pinot blend under the shade of a beautifully appointed canvas tent amid the rows of vines, cooled by refreshing breeze on a warm day as the sounds of relaxing and diverse Latino music played in the background. The authenticity of the place cannot be understated. Elena‘s connection to the land and to the entire process made for an intimate experience. The tribute to her family’s Mexican roots made for a singular experience among wineries not just in the Willamette Valley, but anywhere. Our tasting felt like a true privilege. We leave here proud members, and look forward to coming back again and again.“
“This was a 10 out of 10 experience. Mark, our host, picked us up from the car with a glass of wine and gave us a tour of the estate. He was very welcoming and explained the history and wines so well to us. The wines were all excellent. The highlight were a few ‘nibbles’ to go with the wine. The ingredients were mostly sourced from the estate’s garden. Everything was so high class but still warm and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough.“
“Really nice estate wines. Jody does a great job talking through the history of the vineyards and describing the wines. If you're buying 6 bottles or more, consider signing up for the wine club for additional discounts and free shipping.“
“Great wines, great staff and great space! A must see!“
“Super yummy wines, wonderful people, and a nice, laidback vibe. ❤️“
“Really good wines and incredibly knowledgeable staff in an intriguing tasting house and deck with Asian flair. The wines are incredible here. Experience felt both luxurious and down to earth. One of our top places on a week-long wine tasting trip. Will definitely go again!“
“The tasting room was conveniently located in dundee, so we stopped by for a tasting Friday afternoon. Glad we did! The wines were dynamite. The 2021 Thoma and the Roe & Roe were both superb.
Perhaps the best part was being hosted by James, who is an absolute gentleman and truly the star of the show at North Valley. Thanks again James, meeting you was an honor of ours.“
“Great experience! You get to meet the people that do the work, they have great pride!!“
“I have to say I love how Willamette Valley handles snow days. Thank you to the incredible staff at Domaine Willamette, who came together and served us perfectly with a smile. You know how to treat your owners and industry guests. Our flights, cuisine, and cozy ambiance were just exquisite.“
“One of the nicest wineries we visited in Oregon. The wines we sampled rivaled others, but the atmosphere, although nice, wasn't as impressive as a couple of others. Our server also didn't impress us as someone as knowledgeable as others we visited with on our trip.“
“I recently visited Zerba Winery for a girls weekend, and it's definitely one of my favorites. I'm a member here for a reason - they have the best red wines! I recently picked up my wine shipment and had a great time as always. Highly recommend this winery - you won't regret it!

“We were lucky enough to do the cave tour with Mark this past Sunday. This was one of our highlights of our vacation. The property/caves are amazing, and Mark makes you feel right at home. The wines are stellar and the whole experience was really top notch hospitality. Thank you Mark and the team for making the visit so memorable.“
