“My niece invited my for a tasting. My first visit. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
We sat in the Hideaway an outdoor enclosure that was extremely welcoming. The wines that we tasted were excellent. I ended up joining one of their wines groups. Even though I live in Troutdale I can see myself enjoying the events there especially in the summer“
“So far, each vineyard experience has been different. Here, we’re at Dominio IV Wines—upstairs in a tasting room all to ourselves—listening to Miles Davis and then Elton (Yellow Brick Road) on a turntable. A wonderful venue: intimate in a home setting, more expansive in the barn.“
“We had a great experience tasting some excellent wines recently at Knudsen. Our host was awesome, sharing his deep wine knowledge and enthusiasm! We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Paige, who is absolutely wonderful. If you want to sample some great wines in a relaxing and welcoming environment, Knudsen will not disappoint.“

“Ghost Hill Cellars is one of the best places to visit in wine country. Not only do they have stunning views both inside the venue and out (and amazing sunsets), but their wine is delicious and all of their staff & the owner (Cam) are INCREDIBLE! They are personable and make you feel like family from the moment you get on their property.
I recently held a rehearsal dinner there and they were the easiest people to work with - we got the whole venue for 3 hours, they were flexible, their communication was quick and they always answered our questions + more, and the event went seamless. I couldn't have been luckier to score this venue to host my rehearsal dinner and everyone couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was!
11/10 recommend on having an event hosted here and/or visiting for wine tasting! We are obsessed and will definitely be back. :)“

“I did a tasting with friends and we had a wonderful time. We arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday and it was not that busy despite the beautiful July day. Great wine, great views, great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and we felt like they were truly happy to chat with us.“
“My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.“

“My friend and I arrived minutes before closing, but the wonderful folks there graciously let us in and served an amazing charcuterie. And they let me plug in my bike battery to recharge while we enjoyed a great bottle of pinot blanc. The tasting room is welcoming and chic and the view is spectacular. “The Big Reds Barrel & Wine Tasting was so enjoyable and Boyd was fantastic (engaging, friendly and knowledgeable)! I learned more about wine in the hour-or-so I was there than I ever have. The wines are more to my taste (bold, flavorful and striking) and stood out amongst any of the thin, pedestrian, unremarkable and terribly similar wines from any of the other 11 vineyards I visited during the course of my trip (head and shoulders above even some of the big, elite vineyards).“

“Rex Hill Winery was an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience! The setting is gorgeous, and the wines were outstanding—we enjoyed a flight of five, each one unique and delicious. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Zoe. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and has such a gift for explaining the wines in a way that is engaging and approachable. Her warmth and expertise elevated the entire visit and made it so special. We left not only with a bottle of wine, but also with a deeper appreciation for them thanks to Zoe’s care. “Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“We had a drop-in tasting with Liz, who was so kind and funny! She explained the wines were more dry (we prefer sweet) however they exceeded our expectations! The rosé was fantastic. We were able to have a private picnic out on the patio as well.“
“I walked in and told Earl I was industry and he gave me an amazing tasting of most of the wines and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the wines. The Pinots are soft and fruity and the Rieslings are quintessentially German in character. Delicious and very affordable. 10/10 would come again.“

“Was unsure what to expect but this experience could not have been better. I took my 85 year old mother to a tasting. She absolutely loved it! They made her feel welcomed, were so very patient, and explained their offerings, and shared stories. It was a wonderful smaller more intimate experience not a rush you through hard sell crowded one like the larger vineyards. Best if all the wines were AMAZING! An organic vineyard with grapes grown with love and care and you can taste it in the final product. Again could not recommend this place more for a peaceful, relaxed, beautiful setting. You can bring your own food to pair with the offerings, plus you can shop for some wonderful pottery pieces by local artists to take home.“
“Wonderful experience! We had a reservation for 6 and were seated at a table outside, which was absolutely wonderful. The guide for our tasting was excellent and the wines were top notch. We joined the wine club and are very excited for our first shipment. We also enjoyed our interactions with the cat and dog on the premises.“

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“

“I was very glad that I managed to make it out to some of my favorite vines in the valley. Came in with high expectations and they were exceeded in full. I was completely blown away with the development of their 2013 vintage Chardonnay. The service and knowledge from the staff was top notch. Put this one on your list as a must visit when planning your itinerary.“
