“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.“

“There’s something unbeatable about a local diner on an early Sunday morning, especially when you’re far from home. Craving some eggs and potatoes to kick off the day, I was thrilled to find a spot that mixes it all together in a skillet—making it even more satisfying to dig into. The service was wonderful, and the food was even better. We arrived a little after 8 a.m., and by the time we left, it was clear why there was a line out the door. An awesome stop to start your day or recover from the night before!“

“Wife and I went to John's Hideaway Restaurant for the first time on Saturday. I ordered the chipped beef over toast with hashbrowns. I have to say, it was the best darn chipped beef breakfast I ever had. It tastes like homemade, was nice and creamy, didn't need any extra seasoning. Well done!“

“We had a hard time finding the restaurant, because we didn't know it was in the Comfort Inn. That needs to be made more clear. There's a parking garage close by, so that was convenient. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. The beef medallions were excellent. My friends had the shepherd's pie, which was delicious and the beef stroganoff, which was good but not really a traditional stroganoff. Overall, the experience was good. Would recommend it.“

“Stopped in Sunday after church. Parking lot was full but available seating inside. Really like the bright, open atmosphere and all the windows. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The writer had the western omelet with home fries and toast. All of us were happy with our meals. We will be returning!“

“I frequent the Grill often. The owners Terry and Chris are fantastic. The food is amazing. Stopped in last night 5/10 and received a recommendation to try the bourbon sirloin and shrimp, AMAZING!! My steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. The Brussel sprouts are my favorite veggie. Kudos to this establishment and the owners and their wonderful staff. Love you all.“

“We were heading up to Hershey, Pa. this past week and found this gem of a diner. So, upon returning home four days later, we wanted to stop there again and we were delighted to find it again! The service is great, food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. We want one in our neck of the woods: Jefferson Hills, Pa. Menu can't be beat!“

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!“

“Less salty then other locations! Place is super clean and very welcoming. However it is on the golf course so you kinda feel out of sorts when approaching but quickly realize you are in the right place. Craft white birch beer to die for! Love this place, only downside is there is not a gift shop like at other locations. Will most definitely be back!“

“This place is the best place I have been to in that area. I just wrote a review about 3 pines bar and grill. It wasn’t until I saw a guy last week at three Pines who was telling me about your place and I said oh that’s right I forgot the name of that place I wanted to go there I was there one other time I live in Germantown Maryland he and I got into a conversation at three Pines how despicable it is that they have the audacity to charge for sides of blue cheese, or whatever sides they offer for their wings plus charge for celery I think it’s like $.50 but that’s crazy for every stock of celery. He’s making 10 bucks.Tawn runs a great bar and pardon me if I’m wrong but I think the lady that’s working there with him on this past Monday is her name is Nicole very kind very efficient works really hard I can think she’s new because she’s really trying to get her feet in for, but I can tell either way she’s great.I just want to see what you guys do a great all your food and I think it’s great. You have specials with your wings and you have beer specials. I love IPAs for only paying three dollars and was a deal! Young lady work in the kitchen works very hard I said hello to her and I could tell she puts her heart and soul into it to you my dear great job. I’m not a big fan of the smoking environment but I sit way down to the end of the bar to try to avoid the smoke. It’s not too bad it’s doable for me not my favorite thing but everything else is great. Thank you very much for everything. Love your food. Can’t wait to go back up there next time I’m fishing.“

Joe is the best bartender in Carlisle.... He only has respect and compassion for everyone by at the gas ever served. The patrons on the establishment come back religiously for a reason. Not sure what high horse you fell off of. But my recommendation is to stand up, sober up and dust yourself off. I'm sure BBQ Tavern has a stool for you.“

“Dietary restrictions: The menu is marked gluten sensitive but for someone with celiac it needs further explanation. It said the fries are gs but when asked if chicken is fried in same oil the answer was yes. That is not gluten sensitive or gluten free. The manager Did come to our table explained about using their menu online and getting allergy items. However we already placed our order.“
