Only the second time I have had a mochi donut and these were more airy than the ones I had from Virginia. Not sure if a true difference or whether these were freshly made versus one's that were brought to me and I waited until much later to eat them. Anyway, both donuts ordered were delicious. Also got an egg sandwich which was a TON of egg. It was fine but I think I was hungry and over ordered. I would have been fine with just donut and coffee.“

The staff were very helpful courteous. The food came quickly and was hot. I would recommend trying a corn dog as well as the poutine.“

“I decided to look up somewhere to get something fast to eat near by this place popped up and had good reviews. Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! Although I don't indulge in pretzels for myself very often, I occasionally purchase some for friends and family, including the 10 I bought today to share with homeless individuals in need of a little pick-me-up. The friendly and helpful staff members at this location have always impressed me. With ample parking available, the convenience of visiting this spot is unmatched. I would love to see the addition of a vegan stuffed pretzel on the menu, despite the potential challenges in catering to a niche market. “Typically I have always experienced a feeling of appreciation when I visit the Philly Pretzel Factory in Bear, DE or Middletown, DE BUT, today my visit to the Middletown, DE location left me feeling unappreciated and in fact like I was being a pest. I stopped into the store in order to redeem my ‘celebrate the Eagles win’ coupon. I purchased the 5 pretzels and received 5 free. The pretzels were cold and hard. I complained to both the cashier and the gentleman making the pretzels and was told they were just made. I begged their difference and the gentleman gave me an unfriendly attitude and said he’d just put them back in the oven and they’d be just fine! Needless to say they weren’t. They didn’t taste as fresh as usual nor were they soft. In my opinion this visit was totally unacceptable!!!“

“I’ve been to this location twice so far and the food has been perfect. On this occasion I was at the front register when an employee that was preparing an order started towards me with his gloves still on to take my order. Another employee stated he would take my order and he immediately took his gloves off so he could work the register. That’s a Five (5) stars in my book. Some places the employees think that those gloves are to be never taken off, touching rags, registers, etc and then touching food. The name on the ticket was James R. Thank you James R!! The shack stack is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted and I will happily eat more every time I return. Everything is overpriced at the Wells Fargo Center- but this is the first time I felt like it was all worth it.“

“I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the level of customer service I experienced at the Springfield location of the Pretzel Factory. On June 11, 2025 I visited the store expecting a quick and courteous transaction. Unfortunately, what I encountered was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. While several customers, including myself, waited in line to be served, an employee named ALFONZO was openly using his phone and not acknowledging anyone. When someone tried to get his attention, he casually flagged us off as if we were bothering him. There was no apology, no explanation, and certainly no sense of urgency or respect for customers. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful, it drives customers away. In a time when businesses rely heavily on customer loyalty and word of mouth, employees should be representing the brand with professionalism and basic courtesy. I strongly urge management to address this issue and ensure that staff are trained—or retrained—on the importance of customer service. If this is the type of behavior that is tolerated, I will not be returning, and I will certainly discourage others from doing so. Sincerely,“

“Fresh hot cheese burger. Got better when I got to the middle of it. Made it a combo with fries and a drink. I received plenty of fries with the small size. Bill was $19.91. You can eat cheap or you can eat expensive the skies the limit I was looking for a good hamburger and some fresh french fries five guys is a winner every time my patty melt was delicious juicy flavorful well seasoned, and the french fries are to die for fresh delicious tasty they also have the best soda fountain around the Barqs cherry cream soda is so refreshing almost addictive
overall, my dinner was delicious and satisfying. The price is a little steep but then again you are getting fresh never frozen quality food with a happy smile…. Enjoy !!!“
