“Lunch rush mishap.
There was a decent amount of patrons when I entered. The crew was noticably busy with online orders and a large line at the counter.
They took my order and asked my name. Guy said someone with same name was ahead of me, so he added "v2" to the end of my name on the ticket.
Well.... I waited.... and waited until I realized people who ordered after me, got their food before me.
Told them I'm still waiting.... They must have given the order away to someone else or couldn't read the ticket properly.

But they corrected the issue in a timely manner.“

“Good subs...hot and cold. The staff is accommodating to special requests, like using a different cheese on a sandwich or adding lettuce and tomato to normally naked sandwiches. It's worth looking in your mail or inside local magazines for discount coupons that reduce the price by several dollars or by a percentage of the total bill. These Subs are not cheap but they're also a higher quality than what is available at some places.“

“I immediately made reservations when I found out they were closing. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is conveniently located. The food is phenomenal, service the best and wine list extensive. The dining room is cozy and comfortable. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine, appetizers and dessert. We both had the salmon. Every thing was delicious. I bought a couple of bottles of wine which they were selling to go. I will miss Mary's Vine. I'm so sorry they had to close. Pittsburgh will be missing a great dining experience.“

“My family's favorite sub shop. 45 minute drive but always worth it. Tried at least a dozen different items now and all were the best. If you have never been there - you really do not know what you are missing - it has no equal. The bread and meats and prep are all unique - a really great place !!“

“Fast pickup after ordering“

“This was my first time going there. I've heard so much about them now. I live just down the street from them. I had ordered the chicken ranch and bacon sandwich. The sandwich was horrible. It had a 1 a piece of bacon on it that looked like it was sitting around for about a week. It was soggy and black and dark. Now, we all know. Bacon is supposed to be crispy if I didn't ask for the onions, I guess that's all that would have been on. There would be just the bacon in the sauce. The sandwich was called and so was the fries. The fries did not have any salt on them. All I can say is that it was horrible. And I will not be going back again. I do not understand how they got 4 or 5 stars.“

“Taste of the juicy glistening bite of juice!! Not overly burnt just the right taste!!

One of the best burger places to quickly grab and go or either eat there! They always have friendly staff and acknowledge you! If there were any problems the managers will quickly address the problem and try to make everything right just for happy customer and raving fan! “This is probably one of the most well kept, managed and consistent branch in Pittsburgh. Food is always consistently good, service is always exceptional and they always get your order correct. Also as a door dasher, they make it really easy for you to get your order and go, even when extremely busy. I commend the management and the owner of this branch.“

“We always go through the drive thru but today the kids were with us and I didn't want them eating it in the car. So we went inside. It was not as crowded as the drive thru. Same food, good service and above all, clean. One thing though, why do restaurants keep it so gosh darn cold inside?“

“The workers are absolutely amazing, they wernt above and beyond to be kind and welcoming. The restaurant is absolutely freezing. I had to keep my coat and hat on and still felt so cold I ate quickly so my kid and I could leave.

The bathrooms are even colder, it's as though the heat isn't working at all or somebody higher up is being cheap and not turning it on.

People shouldn't have to work in conditions like this, they deserve better.“

“I've been eating Jim's since i was a teenager in the 60s. Unfortunately the famous sauce has been altered and was never as spicy as it is now. Too much heat and spice have ruined Jim's sauce.“

They ask how you are doing today. They understand customer service. Many of these workers appear to be close to retirement or past retirement and I am sure their days are long but they treat their customers like human beings. “Prompt and efficient staff. We did a walk-in dine-in experience. Our order was taken right away and prepares quickly. Everything was right. The dining room was clean. Things have changed over the years. I remember not too long ago when an order of small fries was quite enough for me, but today it seemed like there was barely anything there. I don't know if they decreased the size of the cardboard containers or what. I do know that small is definitely small and there were no loose fries at the bottom of the bag (or in this case a box). Al in all, not a bad experience for fast food.“

“I went here this afternoon for lunch with my mom and twins. It was the most professional McDonald's I have ever been too. The employees made the food quick and the order was correct. The gentleman who walks around helping people in the dining room was great and very helpful considering my twins are a handful. This was the best McDonald's experience Ive ever had.“

“There aren't too many of these places left and I'm glad this one in Penn Hills got it together, cause they used to be HORRIBLE. They have improved in a MAJOR way as far as the SERVICE. The past few times I've been in there, the people taking the orders were prompt and polite. Even if they were busy, someone at least acknowledged you. That alone went a long way compared to what it used to be. I'm thankful for the new leadership in that place, it's made a difference. The food is what the food is. Lol. It's still good ole Long John Silver. It's nice, cause it's hasn't taken forever to get the food either. The crew in the kitchen was on it. And heck.... They even have a large type matt on the floor where you order your food, so your not sliding your feet across the floor from all the grease in the air lol ... Great job Long Silver, I hope they are able to keep up the now good service.“

“We ordered their cheese fries with bacon, and it was really delicious. The fries were flavorful even though they were oily. The bacon bits were really good, and so was the amount of that melty cheese.

One order is good for 2 to 3 people depending on how hungry you are. I think it's worth the price.

However, we thought that some of the fries were pretty burnt in taste.“

“Came back from the bar and was in the mood for a chicken sammich. Rolled into BK. Wait time was minimal and the staff were friendly. Asked for Ranch, got it! Thanks. This chicken sandwich compared to Wendy's isnt bad. Wendy's is hotter now....(BK step up your game!) But overall was pretty tasty. Got Wendy's the other night and they only had tomato and mayo. BK had everything on it that was supposed to be on it, so good impression. Its the small things that count. Also, I believe BK is cheaper than Wendy's for a spicy chicken sammich. The overall texture wasn't bad however Wendy's is more solid. Hard to explain. This could warrant further analysis. Perhaps the bun or the chicken itself and the breading. Given I've had W and BK back to back this week I'd say overall its a tie with price, quality, and attention to detail.“
