“Lunch rush mishap.
There was a decent amount of patrons when I entered. The crew was noticably busy with online orders and a large line at the counter.
They took my order and asked my name. Guy said someone with same name was ahead of me, so he added "v2" to the end of my name on the ticket.
Well.... I waited.... and waited until I realized people who ordered after me, got their food before me.
Told them I'm still waiting.... They must have given the order away to someone else or couldn't read the ticket properly.

But they corrected the issue in a timely manner.“

“Good subs...hot and cold. The staff is accommodating to special requests, like using a different cheese on a sandwich or adding lettuce and tomato to normally naked sandwiches. It's worth looking in your mail or inside local magazines for discount coupons that reduce the price by several dollars or by a percentage of the total bill. These Subs are not cheap but they're also a higher quality than what is available at some places.“

“My family's favorite sub shop. 45 minute drive but always worth it. Tried at least a dozen different items now and all were the best. If you have never been there - you really do not know what you are missing - it has no equal. The bread and meats and prep are all unique - a really great place !!“

“This is hands down the best fish and chip spot in Pittsburgh. The fish, shrimp and fries were excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside and the inside just melts in your mouth. The house made donuts are also to die for. Highly recommend checking them out and the owner is super nice too!“

I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! “W were a harmar location yesterday. We purchased a large pizza and the tray the server put the pizza on was filthy. It even had sauce smeared on it. The pizza was not cooked enough. The server was there but very unfriendly. I asked to be rated in the non bar area because I'm on crutches at this time. We were seat right beside the bar.“

“Always love Bob's. I've never been to the other locations, but the Tarentum location has never been a disappointment. Staff is always friendly & helpful. I always get the chicken salad (not Bob's way). In fact, this is one of my favorite chicken salads! I do not like celery, or anything else that crunches when you bite it, so I love that the 'crunchies' are chopped tiny, so they don't really crunch when I eat it. My husband has tried several (all Bob's way), and all have been good.“

“Gosh. All this time the best pepper steak hogie was around the corner from me. Lol. Drive by this establishment all the time and never paid attention to what was there. Goggle "steak hogie near me" and this place popped up. I said " i got nothing to lose" and i was right. I dint loose anything instead i gained some happiness. Great prices. The half of hogie sized it basically the size of a whole hogie at most other steak houses. The bread, onions, and of course the steak is amazing. Started being a grumpy lil dweeb cuz I financially shot myself in the foot by striking a utility pole. Ordered Jersey Mike's to have said partner pick it up. “On the evening of Jan 7, 2025 we were hungry travelers coming through Pittsburg on our way home. We headed to chipotle when we saw this little sub station. So happy we stopped here instead! The food was DELICIOUS and the service just as great. The young men greeted us enthusiastically and took good care to make us super tasty subs! The place is clean and fun. We 💯 recommend! The bread is unique but amazing.. soft and chewy on this inside and crispy on the outside- holds all the goodies inside. We could taste every single ingredient - not just a bread sandwich. “It's a classic older family run restaurant. 1980's Pepsi menu boards, cheap prices, family owned, etc. The subs/hoagies are 100% over rated. Now the burgers, pizzas, fries, broccoli bites are worth it. They are priced well and taste pretty good. Have been there a few times to try their menu and can see going back.“

“We haven't been to this location in years. Came in this Sunday and it was busy. (A large group of 6 or 7 adults plus kids before us, and another one after us.) Only one person working. I think his nametag said "Twig" which was unusual, but the food prep area was clean, he was quick and professional and I even saw him change his gloves. When the sub he was making for me got a bit wet he took the time to wrap it again in a new paper which I appreciated. (We were taking the subs hiking.) Totally solid experience from a rockstar and I hope management of the store appreciates what a great employee they've got. We were having a rough day so having a good experience for lunch turned it around. We'll be back.“

“I was in on June 9th, 2022 and was waited on by a lovely woman named Carissa. I was unsure on what to order and she gave great recommendations on what sandwich to order. She suggested the chicken and bacon ranch, which was amazing. I never buy chips or a drink either but she was able to sell me on those too. If she’s not manager yet she needs to be. “Right next to Walgreens as u come off the Homestead High Level Bridge. Service was Excellent. Nice young guy waited on me and he was super friendly and knew his job. I was a manager at a Subway years ago and I would have hired 20 of him! Hey Management: He'sDefinitely out to win new customers and I Definitely will be making that my new Subway! And my home actually has a Subway/Board game night when we spend time away from cellular/internet and have good old fashioned fun. Try it ppl... it became a life changing experience in our home. Vegetarian options: I had my veggie sandwich which I absolutely love. Not a vegetarian but for a healthy light lunch, theirs are fresh and plentiful. Delicious“

“I live close to this subway and the two women who are working here are awesome. I know I will get consistent and methodically well made sub.Because the store is clean and the workers are friendly and welcoming I recommend this particular location.

Parking: The parking lot is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking.“

“My fiance and I went to Asian Kitchen next door. We saw that they still offered Dine In according to Google Maps, so we were expecting to drive out, get our food, and eat it there. Unfortunately, they have their dine in closed, so I asked the Subway next door if we could eat there. The two very kind girls behind the sandwich line were understanding and happily allowed us to dine in there with our food from the Asian place next door. I got drinks and dessert from Subway bc I felt bad about eating there without buying anything. The fountain drinks are very large at a very low price, and the cookies are nice and fresh.

Vegetarian options: You can get sandwiches without meat if you like, but the menu is definitely geared towards getting sandwiches that use meat as the foundation of the recipe.

Kid-friendliness: Tables are small, it would be awkward to make enough space for a child seat at the end.
