“Came in for dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty busy. There was a Pens game on and several tvs were showing the game and the surround sound was playing the game, as well. The staff were super friendly and quick to take our order. Two women were both bartending and serving the tables, but we never had dirty dishes or empty glasses for long. The pepperoni rolls were our favorite. We also had a 16" pizza with extra cheese and half sausage & bacon. The pizza was ok! I'd say 7.5/10. The sauce had great flavor. My brother had the special chicken sandwich, parmesan style. He said the flavors were great, but he wasn't a huge fan of the bread. It wasn't toasted and after a few bites, it was totally soggy. There are two 1-person bathrooms and they were both clean, smelled like strawberries (lol), and were stocked with soap and paper towels.“

My fiancée had thier Italian hoagie which he felt bad and gave me half of his sandwich to eat. The bartender did ask if I liked it. I did let him know about the pizza not being too good. He just looked and didn't say anything and walked away. I'll still come here. But that flat bread has to go. I don't even see how that one is on the menu! “Excellent quality food and service, and kudos to bartender sharing with back of house kitchen crew about my anti-butter story from the previous restaurant we attempted to dine at and left because of their anti-butter arrogant rude behavior, but I never ever realized before the importance of defending butter, as helpless as it may be, so I think my anti-butter experience at the rear end restaurant on a Butler Street (if it were on a Butter Street, that would be even more in-your-face braggingly ridiculous) turned out to excellently bring out civilized respectful quality service at Nox's that I otherwise would not have experienced. Thanks!Note: I actually mentioned to my mother about dining here first, but she suggested it would be too noisy, but when we actually ended up dining here, it wasn't that noisy at all, and it was quite comforting.“

“First thing you see when you walk in is the make-station and the oven. Beautiful delicious pie, might be the best in Pittsburgh. It was nigh perfect. Sourdough proofs for 3 days. Super fluffy and light crust but not a deep dish, so it was a solid foundation and did not make me feel heavy. Crust was perfectly cooked, light charring on the bottom, moist inside and crispy outside. Great toppings, real mozz, excellent flavor, and some unique combos. I went with basic meat pizza for the first go but was very tempted to try something different; since it was so good I would definitely try one of the others. Cocktails were delicious, great selection of beer, wine looked good but did not try, great attentive service, reasonably priced, and open late-ish. TVs for sports but not too loud. Very comfortable place to relax. I have leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch and my mouth is watering just thinking about it.“

The space was a beautifully quaint and well-used venue. The crowd for a sellout was the perfect size and it was not overcrowded. The acoustics of the venue were very excellent and the price of tickets was phenomenal. “I was truly blown away by this place. The company that ones this spot (a local company I believe, Big Burrito) just knows how to manage restaurants the right way because everything they own is just spot on. From the atmosphere and location, to the quality of the food, it’s awesome. I tried their birria Cuban sandwich and chocolate banana bread pudding. My first time ever having a cuban sandwich, and I loved it. The bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The meat is succulent and flavorful. I’m usually not a fan of onions, but these added a nice crunch and sweetness. The meat was a little too fatty for me, but I didn’t really mind the extra fat. The flavorful consommé served on the side added a nice dip to the sandwich. The Cuban also came with a side, and I went with the waffle fries. They were fairly standard, but still very good. Greta portion, crispy, salty. Very solid fries. The banana bread pudding was out of this world. This was probably the best dessert I’ve had in a very long time. The little pieces of chocolate are rich and creamy, the side sweet sauce was delicious too, and it’s crispy on the outside while soft in the middle. So, so good.I r ally enjoyed this spot, as I did pretty much any restaurant from Big Burrito. Amazing dessert, and amazing sandwiches. Not sure if it’s authentic, but it is delicious. I would recommend.Vegetarian options: Salads, vegetarian sandwiches, burgers, grain dishes“

3011 W Liberty Ave, Dormont

“I am so glad I found this place! It’s a neat little bar with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and great music. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me and took the time to help me pick out a cigar. He made suggestions for me based on what I normally smoke and the cigar I chose was excellent. Most folks in there seemed to be regulars and we all had great conversation. In my experience, some cigar bars can be a bit pretentious or intimidating but this place is quite the opposite - it’s got a Cheers bar feel and everyone is down to earth. It’s not very often you sit down and chat with the owner of an establishment. Whether you’re a regular cigar smoker or a newbie, this bar is the place to be. The prices are phenomenal as well. Definitely will be back!“

The pastrami is delicious. There’s also the option to sit outside on their roof deck during the warmer months. Cheers!“
