“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

We ordered the Zaftig pastrami sandwich on rye, and it was absolutely worth it — the pastrami was piled high, tender, and full of flavor, and the rye bread held everything together perfectly. The portions are generous, so definitely come hungry. The service was great. Keira was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they even gave complimentary cookies at the end, which was such a nice touch. Parking is tough, but that’s expected in the city. “Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

Salads were yummy, hummus well done and could easily feed 6 adults. So. Much. Food. If you can’t make it to the restaurant- order the kit from Goldbelly and treat yourself!“
