“Very slow service. My girlfriend has been here before, and before we got there she warned me about the slow service, so we actually set a stopwatch and from us entering the building to us leaving was an hour and 40 minutes. Neither of us drink much at all, we were just there for some food, so an hour and 40 minutes is pretty long. But I can't really complain about the time all that much because a minute after we got there the women working there warned us that it would be slow service, I think she was the only one waiting the tables and the only one cooking the food. So i'm grate-full that she warned us, but it still seems bad of them to be so understaffed.

We got some chili fries to share as an appetizer. I didn't really like them, but i'm not a huge fan of chili to begin with, so maybe that's just my opinion.

I got a burger and fries for the meal, and the burger was surprisingly very good. It tasted like a Guy Fieri burger. And the fries tasted just like Kennywood Potato Patch fries.

The prices are pretty reasonable. The special was a burger and fries for $5, which seems really good for the size of the burger.

I lost $2 playing the slot machine and didn't win a single time.

The menus are a little beat up and could use replacing.

The front smelled really badly of smoke, but the back half has tables and was separated by a door so it didn't smell like smoke in the back.

Look, if you go here expecting a fancy restaurant with high end everything, you'll have a bad time. But in the context of a bar East Pittsburg with affordable prices, it's pretty decent. A lot of people there looked like they were regulars who frequent the place quite often.”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“Went here because my daughter had been seeing a bunch of ads for it on social media and I had never heard of it so we figured let's go try.

In terms of ordering experience it's pretty straight forward as you place your order on one of two computers they have and then step aside and wait for your name to be called.

In regards to the space itself it was bright and pleasing to look at and clean.

Let's talk about the cookies, now taste is of course subjective but I found the cookies to taste good, not the best I have ever had but pretty good.

Now the following is going to again be subjective but to me the cookies are too under done, my kids liked that raw cookie dough feeling and texture but I would have liked them to have been a bit more firm. I had thought it was because they were fresh that they were so soft but even after a few hours at home to cool the cookies where still very much undercooked and infact my one definitely had some raw dough in the middle. My wife and kids through loved this fact so again this might be amazing if you like a cookie like that or it might be a turn off if you like a done and crumbly cookie.

Your paying for the hype and agressive marketing this company does, a dozen was nearly $50 dollars and they are not worth that to me, again subjective, but I have had better cookies at a local famous bakery in Oakmont for significantly less and with equal/better quality.

Honestly this place reminds me of when Krispy Cream came to town and the experience of getting a hot and fresh donut was new and exciting but after a while you came to realize that while it was a good donut it was not anything special and this place feels the same but with cookies.”

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. Food was great will definitely be a return customer”

“Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. the steamed pork dumplings are addictive sometimes I'll just get 3 orders of those. Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. I haven't had a single bad thing from here and have been going the for years now. best Thai food in Pittsburgh”

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. “Best bread anywhere in the Pittsburgh area…worth our 30 minute drive to buy!! And if you want to treat yourself to the BEST cinnamon roll - buy one and savor it!! Flavor is incredible and one roll can feed 2 people easily!! If they ever make the flat non-iced sugar sprinkled cinnamon rolls again- I will buy them all!! The ice cream is some of the BEST I've ever had very fresh!! And you MUST try the pound cake is ABSOLUTELY Delicious ? it comes by the slice however you can order a whole cake. The cookies & brownies are delicious too!!
