“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“I was so excited when I discovered that Brewerytown Bakery is completely vegan. I’ve started going on occasional weekend mornings for a London Fog boba and a loaf of bread. This morning I treated myself to a breakfast sandwich too. It was so delicious! If you’re ever in the area, you’ve got to check them out. 💜“

“Stopped by the Swedesboro location for the first time today. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and there were only a few cupcakes left. Basically sold out within 15 minutes of opening. That’s how you know they’re good! I got a Lucky Charm cupcake and a chocolate cupcake. But those weren’t all I went for… I got an assortment of 12 macarons. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful. I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. Get there before they open or within a half hour of them opening. Their products go fast! It was well worth the trip. I look forward to visiting again soon!“

“I LOVE and 100% recommend The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company! Someone had their cookies mailed to me as a sympathy gift back in 2021. Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! (and I am very particular about my chocolate chip cookies), 2. Their service is amazing! They respond to emails and phone messages really quickly and do what they can to help, 3. They are military friendly - whenever I need to ship to my nephew's military base in Alaska (which is very hard to get companies to deliver to by the way), they always help me out, get the shipping done quickly, and are super helpful. When my nephew gets the cookies in Alaska, they are always amazing. This is a great company that I will continue to use to send friends and family delicious gifts.“

I guess you can back up on to the docks for overnight parking.

“Last Saturday, January 31st, I was invited to a cake decorating party/course at Pound Cake Heaven. Ms. Pam and Ms. Tony were such gracious hosts, introducing us to the shop, the history of this amazing Black woman-owned company, and recent projects like for the US Navy's 250th Anniversary cake! Melanie expertly taught our group of amateur and semi-professional cake bakers how to decorate a 2 layered cake. The butter cream smelled and tasted delicious and so did the cake overall! I would definitely recommend the course and bake goods! Thank you all so much for such an enjoyable time!“

“We worked with Joe to put together a tea reception after our wedding ceremony, and we couldn't have been happier! The pastries themselves were so delicious and very pretty (my personal favourites were the mini-cupcakes). And, Joe was a pleasure to work with, very communicative and upfront. We had to switch things up last minute from having the food out on display to having it packaged and handed out, and Joe and his team did a fantastic job pivoting, even coming up with a cute little QR code sticker with the menu for each box. “I was introduced to these cookies years ago, and they have become my go-to choice for special occasions for many reasons. First, they are absolutely delicious! Second, I appreciate their business practices. Just yesterday, I ordered some cookies, and although they usually ship the next day, they weren't able to get into the shop due to the ice. I received a thoughtful phone call from a man named Mike. He informed me that they typically do not ship on Fridays, but given the inclement weather, they would be making an exception. I was asked all night where everything was from and received compliments on how delicious everything was. I had a bowl with chicken, potatoes, veg, whipped feta, and took a pastry and frappe to go.

The people were super nice, and indoor and outdoor dining space bright and clean.

“I have absolutely no idea who Benson Boone is, but I love his cookie collaboration with crumble, maybe he's in the wrong business, he should definitely be making desserts not songs. Crumble cookies are super soft, delicious, and sugary, my mom and dad and I all loved them!“
