“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

“My husband and I were on a small getaway and discovered this treasure. I am an ice cream lover and must tell you that this is hands down the BEST ice cream I ever had. My husband profoundly agrees! He wanted to go again before we left but it wasn’t possible. We’re already trying to plan another trip down just to go to Fox Meadows. Also, the staff was so friendly. The you g woman who waited on us was extremely friendly and provided us samples to try. Since it was our first visit we were also given a free beverage each! We 💯 percent recommend!!!!!“

I have a almost three year old with that said this place was just so nice going in at 3pm - we had a little area to ourselves and the food was amazing. I never order a pork chop anywhere as well ya... lol but thanks to this page ans what i read on reviews it was by far the best meal i had in a long time. My girl ordered the pizza didnt touch any of it as she was too busy eating my pork chop and her grand parents yummy meat loaf and truffle mac and cheese All of us left stuffed and happy It was just too darn yummy ! “We were seated in the outdoor area, which was beautifully landscaped. The server was friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered a burger and a Hop Hog IPA, both of which were great. I ordered the fettuccine. It’s described as a creamy pesto sauce with house made baked tomatoes (like sun dried) which would give it a more concentrated flavor. But when the server delivered it I couldn’t see any tomatoes so I asked the server about it and she said she could bring me some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of blistered cherry tomatoes. By then I had already started eating it and though the sauce was tasty, it was kind of bland. Adding the tomatoes helped but it really needs the concentrated taste of sun-dried, not fresh tomatoes. Crushed chili peppers would have been an improvement. I was disappointed in the lack of attention by the kitchen in getting it wrong twice, and by the long wait time. The server apologized for the wait but it would have been appropriate to knock a few bucks off the bill.“

“This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

“We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

They also have a few food options focusing on pretzels and sausages. The prices are decent given that it's inside an amusement park.“

They need to take lessons from Penn's Tavern Restaurant on how to make a rum runner. No one has beat theirs yet.“

“An anniversary dinner for us. Easy location to get to and embedded in a boutique hotel. The bar area begs for one to sit down and have a cocktail, however, we went right to our table. We had a window seat with pleasant late afternoon lighting. Cocktails were good pours and tasty. Appetizers of ceviche and golden beet salad were fresh and delicious. Entrees of Trout and Char were cooked perfectly and laid atop a delicious bed of vegetables. All meals were extremely flavorful and of perfect size. The entrees were washed down with a recommended Rose from a local winery. Good pairing from Waltz vineyards. Dessert was the hit of the evening with a chocolate flourless tort and sweet corn ice cream with a blackberry swirl...it was fantastic. Great meal, great service and most highly recommended.“

“Small but great pretzel place!! I got a pizza pretzel which was a hefty croissant shaped pretzel STUFFED with pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce. It was soooo good and hearty. I got it on a whim and greatly enjoyed it. I also got a regular salted pretzel that was very good, nice chewy and doughy! I highly recommend a stop in if you like pretzels.“

Carmen our server was so helpful and worked hard caring for us and even saw her watering the lovely garden outside. The outdoor dining area is pretty and inviting but was too hot outdoors for us last night. Next time we go we will sit in the outdoor garden for dinner.“

“While I like most of Stoltzfus’s items, I’ve been disappointed in their chicken salad. It used to be a staple in our home but seems like they’ve changed the recipe. It’s now so runny with mayo (or whatever they use) that it plops right off our sandwiches. They’ve also seem to cut back on the celery which added a nice contrasting crunch. Please bring back the old recipe.“
