“Great diner with great home cooked food“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“I recently came back to visit my hometown, and I decided to stop in Eat'n Park to have a meal. I hadn't been there for years, and everything was just as good as I remembered it. The service was friendly, the food was great, and I felt right at home. I also purchased some Smiley Cookies and a copy of their book, Eat'n Park: The Story Behind the Smile. Highly recommend.“

“This was our first time at the tavern and it was an amazing experience. Experience is always made better when you have an excellent weight staff and Hannah was exactly everything you want. From the steak to the salmon and the beignets everything was great definitely will be back again.“

We're longtime visitors to Log Cabin Inn and have been to Rachel's Roadhouse, but never made the trip to Springfield.

The ambiance for dinner was really nice, and the restaurant feels cozy.

We enjoyed the ahi tuna and zucchini fries as appetizers, the chicken noodle soup which was hearty, and the steak and crabcake, and the sea bass for dinner - all of which were excellent. For dessert, the chocolate peanut butter cake and cheesecake with raspberry sauce were divine!

Loved that they even have a few mocktails on their menu in addition to their alcoholic beverage selection.

Service was fast, all of our courses came out perfectly times and we really enjoyed our meal.

“Thursday is wing night. Hot sauce is a little bland, but the Dirty Bird seasoning that they use if you order it is wonderful. The restaurant side is open to the public and the food is good "american" style food. You'll find a lot of older local residents frequent these types of establishments“

“Good food but be aware it's stated that they close at 2pm but the kitchen closes at 1:30pm. That's not posted. We drove 50 minutes only to be turned away. Arrived at 1:40 well before the 2pm closing. They should post that with their hours.“

“Today between 4pm and 5pm, this was the first time that my friend and I ever ate there and I had broiled haddock fish and broccoli, and she had pasta with marinara, melted mozzarella cheese, sausage, and chicken. Everything was delicious, and the staff was so attentive and kind to us.“

Taylor was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering my questions with care. When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. There wasn’t a single request they couldn’t accommodate, and the food was absolutely incredible. The event staff was on top of everything the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Justin and his team went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way. I will definitely be back for future events and highly recommend Just in Thyme to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and catering experience!“

“Again I wasn't here at this restaurant but I know a friend of mine was. He said his entree was a lil fatty and the dessert she took home was sour and spoiled. Smelled horrible when pulled off lid. Not sure what he ordered but I'll ask them so I can tell my friends not to buy same dessert.“

“My wife and I eat here regularly and we'd strongly recommend it to everyone. It's a fantastic restaurant with a comprehensive menu to satisfy anyone's desires. The staff is very attentive and the food is fantastic. For those who experience difficulties in making individual reservations I'd STRONGLY encourage you to make your reservations for an ENTIRE YEAR, so as to ensure your ongoing reservations without having to call.“

“we were here this evening 2-15-2025 for our 20 year anniversary. we had our reception here so long ago. we were heart broken when it burnt down then remodeled an we didn't go back but today we did an OMG so glad we did the scenery a tad different, the food was amazing very very good an hit just the right spot. The highlight was our server Belle she was so sweet, an kind her suggestions were spot on an she just made the night even more magical. “This is our GO TO weekly spot. To be honest, we look for a certain face whenever we walk in - Kari. No matter what type of mood you are in when you walk in that door, she will always make it better and has you laughing before you leave. Hands down, the best Applebee’s location. We look forward to our weekly trips out there. It’s an absolute honor to considered one of Kari’s “regulars”. She is genuinely concerned if there is a week we don’t stop in, and will check in to make sure we are okay. This woman is an absolute asset to Applebee’s. She is extremely personable, and in my opinion, that speaks volumes.“

“Good food and lots of space for shows, they get great artists. Staff varies though, i have had negative experiences with some of the bartenders. They pay their rent in one night in tips and still get unfriendly. Id recommend training for stressful environments for the staff. Other than that its good.“

“The salad bowl was amazing and I loved how I got to pick whatever I wanted to put in my salad. It truly made my first experience with them pretty good. The fries were really good as well. We also got a cheeseburger that he could make whatever way he wanted but it was really greasy and wasn't as good as other places. We will definitely be back for the salads and fries again. Oh and they have these amazing drinks made with pure cane sugar. I had the ginger ale and he had the black cherry. Both were really yummy.“

Appears that everything is scratch made including the Margherita! Dee Jay's is our new destination restaurant. The service was excellent, too. You will not be constantly interrupted. And it needs to be pointed out that the restaurant & restrooms are very clean (no odors in the latter!). Check it out. You should not be disappointed.“

“We LOVE Kanlaya. Small family run business. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Some of our family favorites: Crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, Pad woon sen, pineapple fried rice, all the curry’s, and the fried banana dessert is so good. “We reviewed Hello Bistro in Beachwood OH, well JRK did because Joe was too busy "working"...... Tried the Tex Mex burger – looked great, but it was tiny and bland. I was expecting flavor fireworks, but it was more like a flavor fizzle. The avocado was the highlight though! The fries were fresh and tasty, and the house-made ranch? Chef’s kiss.
