“Great diner with great home cooked food“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“My server June is the best! She always gets my order done right. I am a vegan and have gluten intolerance so I have very specific needs. The Beyond burger is always tasty and I enjoy the fresh brewed iced tea as well. June always makes my dining experience memorable in a good way.“

“Breakneck Tavern is excellent! Locally owned and supporters of local farms and breweries, it's wonderful to see this restaurant's success. Favorites of ours are the filet, roast chicken, charred Brussel sprouts, salmon, hummus, and the seasonal pumpkin soup. Always busy, and rightfully so, reservations are recommended“

“Three cheers for this restaurant. My son and I went there for dinner, and let me tell you, it is a very nice place. We were seated by the hostess and handed the menus. I saw a catch of the day plate for $16. I pointed to it on the menu and asked our waitress if it was good. She said a lot of people were ordering it but she didn't taste it. My son and I both ordered it. It was very good. The bill came and it was $75. I showed it to the waitress and she said that the hostess must have given me the lunch menu by mistake. She left and came back with the corrected bill. Now, I'm sure this happens once in awhile. I have had other times that the bill was wrong. But they didn't give me a hard time to correct the bill. Actually on the amount of difference (dinner price was $28.95), I thought they would make a stink about it. But they were very cordial and we left with a very good feeling for this place. So, please go to this restaurant because they know how to make you happy when you come through thier front door.“

“Today between 4pm and 5pm, this was the first time that my friend and I ever ate there and I had broiled haddock fish and broccoli, and she had pasta with marinara, melted mozzarella cheese, sausage, and chicken. Everything was delicious, and the staff was so attentive and kind to us.“

The staff is very attentive and the food is fantastic. For those who experience difficulties in making individual reservations I'd STRONGLY encourage you to make your reservations for an ENTIRE YEAR, so as to ensure your ongoing reservations without having to call.“

Taylor was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering my questions with care. When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. There wasn’t a single request they couldn’t accommodate, and the food was absolutely incredible. The event staff was on top of everything the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Justin and his team went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way. “Again I wasn't here at this restaurant but I know a friend of mine was. He said his entree was a lil fatty and the dessert she took home was sour and spoiled. Smelled horrible when pulled off lid. Not sure what he ordered but I'll ask them so I can tell my friends not to buy same dessert.“

“we were here this evening 2-15-2025 for our 20 year anniversary. we had our reception here so long ago. we were heart broken when it burnt down then remodeled an we didn't go back but today we did an OMG so glad we did the scenery a tad different, the food was amazing very very good an hit just the right spot. The highlight was our server Belle she was so sweet, an kind her suggestions were spot on an she just made the night even more magical. “Absolutely lovely venue! Perfect for weddings with a whimsical, enchanted garden vibe! This is NOT your ordinary barn! You have to see it to truly experience the love and care and attention to every detail the owners gave it. Immaculately clean, well organized, perfect for indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception of up to about 200. I’m in the wedding industry, and this venue is by far one of my favorites. The only ‘barn’ I know that has air conditioning- keeping your guests comfortable during your wedding! 💒 truly worth the tour if you are planning your wedding! “It's harder & harder to find good German food. I had Jagersnitzel , red cabbage and spatzle . My wife isn't a fan of German food so she had crab cakes. Both meals were excellent. They had a unique way of preparing the spatzle. Had a real good taste. The menu has a perfect balance between American & German choices, which makes it nice for those that don't prefer German. Service was excellent and the entire staff was friendly. The building is old World 1800's . Well maintained and decorated. They had an awesome outdoor dining area as well, but we prefer inside. Definitely will return!“

“The rib on the wrap was so freaking good!!! They didn't advise it, but I was happy I stuck with it. I'm not a fan of big sandwiches, so the wrap was just fitting. The fries I will never order again. They didn't taste like fries. They were overcooked and hard. There was no potato in the middle and I hate when fries are made like that. My waiter was a doll. The bar is very nice. None of this review is reflective of anyone in there specifically. Simply the food.“

“Nestled in Burbank, Eat N Park is a phenomenal breakfast spot & is a true hidden gem! Get there early because it does get packed and for good reason! Eat N Park, an Armenian owned restaurant offers a huge breakfast with some lunch additions. This place offers dishes packed with flavor, huge portions and low prices! The omelets are amazing, the Belgian waffles, strawberry crepes fantastic & the pancakes are out of this world!!! And don’t get me started on the biscuits…hands down the best I’ve ever had! My hats off to the chef for cooking comfort food that made me feel like I was at home! The hospitality is beyond amazing! The owners are extremely welcoming and serve as well. They treat everyone as if you were dining in their home! From one Armenian Chef to another Shad Shad shunorhagal em! We will definitely see you again soon!“

“We've been to Firebirds Grille for lunch, and we've enjoyed it. This is our first dinner at this establishment, and there is good value to be had. The chicken tortilla soup is rich and savory. Wines by the glass are thoughtfully selected. The steak selections are top-notch. They might not be as tasty as those at a fine steakhouse, but for the price, they are well worth ordering. Garlic-glazed chicken is nicely presented, as are the sides. I especially like the corn offering, which is spicy. Deserts are a treat, with the warm carrot cake taking a special bow. Our server, Emily, was efficient and helpful. One caveat: The atmosphere is noisy, with many families bringing small toddlers and huge backpacks of whatever they deem necessary to assuage the young ones. As a result, this place is not really suited for romance, but rather for a good appetite.“
