“Great diner with great home cooked food“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“My server June is the best! She always gets my order done right. I am a vegan and have gluten intolerance so I have very specific needs. The Beyond burger is always tasty and I enjoy the fresh brewed iced tea as well. June always makes my dining experience memorable in a good way.“

“Food was good. Nice variety of choices on menu. Drinks, so e were great & so.e were not good. Place was clean and nice spacing between tables. Service was very slow and mediocre at best. Would give it another try do to atmosphere and menu variety.“

“Three cheers for this restaurant. My son and I went there for dinner, and let me tell you, it is a very nice place. We were seated by the hostess and handed the menus. I saw a catch of the day plate for $16. I pointed to it on the menu and asked our waitress if it was good. She said a lot of people were ordering it but she didn't taste it. My son and I both ordered it. It was very good. The bill came and it was $75. I showed it to the waitress and she said that the hostess must have given me the lunch menu by mistake. She left and came back with the corrected bill. Now, I'm sure this happens once in awhile. I have had other times that the bill was wrong. But they didn't give me a hard time to correct the bill. Actually on the amount of difference (dinner price was $28.95), I thought they would make a stink about it. But they were very cordial and we left with a very good feeling for this place. So, please go to this restaurant because they know how to make you happy when you come through thier front door.“

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jimmy’s both before and after it came under new ownership, and I can confidently say—it’s a whole new experience in the best way possible! The food is absolutely delicious, clearly made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and plenty of care. One of the best surprises has been the amazing new daily specials the owners have introduced. It’s clear the new owners are passionate about great food and great service. “Today between 4pm and 5pm, this was the first time that my friend and I ever ate there and I had broiled haddock fish and broccoli, and she had pasta with marinara, melted mozzarella cheese, sausage, and chicken. Everything was delicious, and the staff was so attentive and kind to us.“

Taylor was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering my questions with care. When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. There wasn’t a single request they couldn’t accommodate, and the food was absolutely incredible. The event staff was on top of everything the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Justin and his team went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way. I will definitely be back for future events and highly recommend Just in Thyme to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and catering experience!“

“Again I wasn't here at this restaurant but I know a friend of mine was. He said his entree was a lil fatty and the dessert she took home was sour and spoiled. Smelled horrible when pulled off lid. Not sure what he ordered but I'll ask them so I can tell my friends not to buy same dessert.“

“Absolutely lovely venue! Perfect for weddings with a whimsical, enchanted garden vibe! This is NOT your ordinary barn! You have to see it to truly experience the love and care and attention to every detail the owners gave it. Immaculately clean, well organized, perfect for indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception of up to about 200. I’m in the wedding industry, and this venue is by far one of my favorites. The only ‘barn’ I know that has air conditioning- keeping your guests comfortable during your wedding! 💒 truly worth the tour if you are planning your wedding! “we were here this evening 2-15-2025 for our 20 year anniversary. we had our reception here so long ago. we were heart broken when it burnt down then remodeled an we didn't go back but today we did an OMG so glad we did the scenery a tad different, the food was amazing very very good an hit just the right spot. The highlight was our server Belle she was so sweet, an kind her suggestions were spot on an she just made the night even more magical. “My wife and I eat here regularly and we'd strongly recommend it to everyone. It's a fantastic restaurant with a comprehensive menu to satisfy anyone's desires. The staff is very attentive and the food is fantastic. For those who experience difficulties in making individual reservations I'd STRONGLY encourage you to make your reservations for an ENTIRE YEAR, so as to ensure your ongoing reservations without having to call.“

“The rib on the wrap was so freaking good!!! They didn't advise it, but I was happy I stuck with it. I'm not a fan of big sandwiches, so the wrap was just fitting. The fries I will never order again. They didn't taste like fries. They were overcooked and hard. There was no potato in the middle and I hate when fries are made like that. My waiter was a doll. The bar is very nice. None of this review is reflective of anyone in there specifically. Simply the food.“

“Nestled in Burbank, Eat N Park is a phenomenal breakfast spot & is a true hidden gem! Get there early because it does get packed and for good reason! Eat N Park, an Armenian owned restaurant offers a huge breakfast with some lunch additions. This place offers dishes packed with flavor, huge portions and low prices! The omelets are amazing, the Belgian waffles, strawberry crepes fantastic & the pancakes are out of this world!!! And don’t get me started on the biscuits…hands down the best I’ve ever had! My hats off to the chef for cooking comfort food that made me feel like I was at home! The hospitality is beyond amazing! The owners are extremely welcoming and serve as well. They treat everyone as if you were dining in their home! From one Armenian Chef to another Shad Shad shunorhagal em! We will definitely see you again soon!“

“We went to Firebirds for lunch to use the $10 coupon that was emailed and the $7 Martini Monday special which was included in the same email. We are long time customers of Firebirds but the last several visits have been disappointing. The $7 martini special was not honored. The sirloin steak that I had was good, but contained at least 3 areas of gristle that were impossible to chew. The loaded baked potato was excellent but toppings on it were scarce compared to those I have had in the past. The manager that we spoke to was unhelpful about the Martini Monday special included in the email. Just be aware if you are an Inner Circle member and have expectations when using promotional emails for dining that you may not get what you are promised. We sat outside on a beautiful early September afternoon so it was a nice dining experience.“

“I had breakfast with my mom about a month ago. We sat for hours and just talked, had coffee and breakfast. The server was polite and took care of us brilliantly. She didn't hover and was there whenever we needed anything. I had breakfast with family one Sunday morning. It was not very busy, but the server was not as fantastic. She was just OK. “Food and service was good. Wasn't very busy. Because they share their parking lot with MANY retail stores, it's hard to find parking. And finding handicapped parking is almost impossible. In addition, a large portion of the lot, closest to the restaurant, is being used for electric car charging. 3 or 4 spaces are reserved for take out orders. And those spaces are ideal for extra handicapped parking. I had to wait for my handicapped spot and when I was leaving, there were people waiting for my spot. In my opinion, they need to rethink their parking situation. The other thing is I don't enjoy country music. The place was pretty quiet except for the music (lucky me), as there were not a lot of patrons. Our server was attentive, friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious and hot. The parking situation really harshed my buzz though. In all, I would rate the visit 8 of 10.“

“Had dinner at Dee Jays for the first time. Excellent! 5 stars. Ribs are the best I've had for a long, long time. The jalapeño mac & cheese has a hint of the pepper without the heat. Appears that everything is scratch made including the Margherita! Dee Jay's is our new destination restaurant. The service was excellent, too. You will not be constantly interrupted. And it needs to be pointed out that the restaurant & restrooms are very clean (no odors in the latter!). Check it out. You should not be disappointed.“
