“Friendly staff and great atmosphere“

“The restaurant was too cold. It was uncomfortable. There was no where to sit in the entire restaurant that was warm other than the ladies room.“

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! Hands down best food in service in Pittsburgh!“

I went to see one of my favorite artists (Geordie Greep) and after the show was over, the owner was kind enough to let me hang around and get my record signed by all of the band members. She really didn't have to do that, it was very kind and I am glad I gave them my business, truly a great venue“

“We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. “I visited for a late breakfast, and everything was wonderful. The food was generous and delicious. I ordered the Guy's Breakfast, and the scrambled eggs were generous and perfectly prepared, the home fries had a lovely and savory taste, the sausage was real and delicious, and the ricotta pancake was fantastic. It was a filling breakfast and I didn't eat again until much later in the day.

Taylor was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, always answering my questions with care. When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“The rib on the wrap was so freaking good!!! They didn't advise it, but I was happy I stuck with it. I'm not a fan of big sandwiches, so the wrap was just fitting. The fries I will never order again. They didn't taste like fries. They were overcooked and hard. There was no potato in the middle and I hate when fries are made like that. My waiter was a doll. The bar is very nice. None of this review is reflective of anyone in there specifically. Simply the food.“

“We visited Cornerstone for Brunch. I had an omelette with leeks and asparagus and a white sangria. The food and drinks are really good here. Expertly crafted with great nuances of flavor.
Cornerstone is a bit overpriced for portion size but not extremely.
The service here is lacking for me. There is just a snobbish aura from the staff who only seem particularly interested in their regular, repeat customers. New customers seem to be treated with covert flippancy. Therefore, I probably won't be back unfortunately.“

“My server June is the best! She always gets my order done right. I am a vegan and have gluten intolerance so I have very specific needs. The Beyond burger is always tasty and I enjoy the fresh brewed iced tea as well. June always makes my dining experience memorable in a good way.“

“My daughter and I sat on the patio for lunch and had a really great time! The Steelers game was playing on a huge outdoor TV. There only a few open tables because this place was bustling but not chaotic. A truly laid back vibe.

The menu selection was fantastic, something for everyone. We ordered spam musibi, pretzels with cheese and the tempura prawn salad (I added avocado and tuna poké). Everything was really delicious and beautifully plated.

I highly recommend City Kitchen...and Trader Joe's is just a block away. 🙂“

“I've been ordering from Big Shot Bob's in Avalon for over ten years. They're the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year's Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year's Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.

My all time favorite all Old Bay Wet. What's pictured, Black and Gold, Garlic Ranch Wet and Big Shot Bob's Signature.

I am vegetarian but I still order these wings for family get together.“

The price is amazing for the quantity, whole wings served in a catering size tray. The sauces (BBQ and ranch) weren't the best but we will definitely be ordering again!“
