“I almost was born in the back booth here 70 yrs and 7 months ago. It's was good to come home to THE MCKEESPORT EAT N PARK ON LYSLE BOULEVARD, minutes from Kennywood Amustment Park and hopefully re-establish residence in a lovely little city in Western Penndylvania.“

I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. “My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. These ice cream flavors were some of the richest, most decadent I have ever experienced and that is coming from an ice cream aficionado.

After dinner, we walked to Millie‘s from our Airbnb and after sampling many different flavors, I finally settled upon the backyard s’mores and the brownie batter. Both flavors absolutely stuck true to their names and packed a punch.

I think I preferred the backyard s’mores just slightly because the brownie batter was SO decadent and SO rich it almost was too much. The keyword there being “almost”.

Jayna was extremely helpful n kind and walked me through taste tests of each juice and I believe I have found a fave don’t stop the beet and house mylk.( yes spelled that way). “Came here about 10 years ago to see Perturbator and Arcade High, and recently came back for the Ultra Sunn live event. The show was an absolute blast and the atmosphere was awesome. Only downside was the pizza side of the venue. The whole pizza was pretty meh and way overpriced for the size. Still, the event itself made up for it and I’ll definitely keep coming back for shows.“
