“This is hands down the best fish and chip spot in Pittsburgh. The fish, shrimp and fries were excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside and the inside just melts in your mouth. The house made donuts are also to die for. Highly recommend checking them out and the owner is super nice too!“

“My sister and I aren’t from PA and came over for concert, we stopped here for lunch and it was amazing! The lady and guy running the shop (Who I’m assuming are the owners) were so friendly. We waited probably 10 minutes for our food, they were getting a few orders made as we came in and it was worth every minute of a wait. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a solid sandwich. We got the clubs plus a snickerdoodle and a chocolate chunk cookie ( I got panini and my sister just got it cold, both are amazing!) and I’d absolutely get it again coming back to this part of PA“

“Came here after work to order takeout because I wanted a bite to eat. I got the turkey sando and the tots and let me tell you I was impressed! I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! The vibe of the place was also a plus, really down to Earth!“

“A fun setup! Our first time at this location. We were seated upstairs. Was definitely a little snug for our party, but food was amazing as always with Primanti. My only complaint was that we may have been overlooked a little, not being on the main floor. Drinks took a bit to get refilled. Other than that, a nice experience. Would return!“

“The workers are absolutely amazing, they wernt above and beyond to be kind and welcoming. The restaurant is absolutely freezing. I had to keep my coat and hat on and still felt so cold I ate quickly so my kid and I could leave.

The bathrooms are even colder, it's as though the heat isn't working at all or somebody higher up is being cheap and not turning it on.

People shouldn't have to work in conditions like this, they deserve better.“

“This JJ wasn’t terrible. The counter person was slightly condescending. She didn’t understand that I eat a Jimmy John’s multiple times a week because she felt the need to tell me what comes on the same sandwich that I ordered every time.
My instructions were not followed, and my sandwich did not meet my expectations. Even though they did not meet my expectations, I will go and give them another chance.
You know how distracting it is when you’re on your phone and there are no other customers, and instead of cleaning, maintaining your Restaurant following the one and only order you’ve probably gotten in one hour. You dropped the ball.
Not thrilled with this visit, but I will allow them to redeem themselves on my next visit.“

“I ordered two large trays of hoagies for my men’s group. They were delicious. On top of that , everything was taken care of (enough condiments, plates, forks, etc). All without being asked. “Lunch rush mishap.
There was a decent amount of patrons when I entered. The crew was noticably busy with online orders and a large line at the counter.
They took my order and asked my name. Guy said someone with same name was ahead of me, so he added "v2" to the end of my name on the ticket.
Well.... I waited.... and waited until I realized people who ordered after me, got their food before me.
Told them I'm still waiting.... They must have given the order away to someone else or couldn't read the ticket properly.

But they corrected the issue in a timely manner.“

“The people working at Jersey Mike's on Saturday evening, July 18 2020 went above and beyond for us. I placed an online order and on our way to get the order the vehicle we were driving in broke down. I called and explained the situation because I knew we wouldn't get there before close. The person I spoke with was so kind and assured me I could still get my order. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there at all and when I called to explain and offer my order to the closing team, the person who answered was again so kind and offered to refund my order even though I had no intention of asking for that. It was just a nice gesture and the care they showed for our situation was amazing. I will make sure to order from them more often! Thanks guys!“

“I stopped going to Subway a few years ago because of quality was terrible. A couple of years ago I moved and was very close to this location in Westview plaza. I don't know if it is just this location or all subways have stepped up their game but I have never gotten a bad meal at this place!
Everything is fresh and it fills me up. The best part is I order through the app and they always have at least buy one get a second for 50% off and run a buy one get one free promotion very frequently. Currently they are doing the buy one get one free promotion and I have gone there three times in the last 5 days. All three times the food was delicious and did not take long to get. I highly recommend this place.“

What the site DIDN'T say was that it was for pick up orders only... My phone wouldn't complete the order for some reason. Even though the owner for some reason had this poor girl working by HERSELF AT NIGHT IN OAKLAND at the only open Subway and she was SUPER busy, she took a second to take my order and made sure I was taken care of and did it with a great and positive attitude. I felt so bad that they had her there by herself... She was excellent and courteous. And the food was good as well. I'm appreciative of her.“

“First time at the chain. Had the Italian. Jumbo feeds 2 people with one big meal or two medium sized meals. Nothing special but not bad. Soft roll was good. Cold cuts were ok. Staff was helpful and efficient. Nice alternative to burgers. Would buy again.“

“On the evening of Jan 7, 2025 we were hungry travelers coming through Pittsburg on our way home. We headed to chipotle when we saw this little sub station. So happy we stopped here instead! The food was DELICIOUS and the service just as great. The young men greeted us enthusiastically and took good care to make us super tasty subs! The place is clean and fun. We 💯 recommend! The bread is unique but amazing.. soft and chewy on this inside and crispy on the outside- holds all the goodies inside. We could taste every single ingredient - not just a bread sandwich. “This is def my fave local subway location. I’m not sure what her name is and I’ll def make sure to get it next time but whoever was your closing employee 4/8/24 has once again done an amazing job. She makes sure the orders are what the customer is looking for exactly and really goes out of her way to do so. She’s such an asset to your team!! She has given me an exact same experience a few months ago when I told her that I had ordered a sandwich from the McKnight Road location and had a really horrible experience. “Good subs...hot and cold. The staff is accommodating to special requests, like using a different cheese on a sandwich or adding lettuce and tomato to normally naked sandwiches. It's worth looking in your mail or inside local magazines for discount coupons that reduce the price by several dollars or by a percentage of the total bill. These Subs are not cheap but they're also a higher quality than what is available at some places.“
