Sampling the flavor profile of each oyster was not only delicious but extremely fun as a couple. After oysters and wine, my wife ordered the lobster roll and I had the house clam chowder. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the position size was double that of the perfectly toasted and buttery brioche bread it was on. The fries were homemade and very good. I will say that they could have double fried them to make them a bit more crispy but overall very good. The clam chowder was very rich with smoke amounts of bacon, the smokey flavor from the bacon was a nice addition. The waiter was very attentive and took the time to engage and make a human connection, which is much appreciated. Overall, great experience and I would return here in the future.“

There was unobtrusive but agreeable music. It had a distinctive atmosphere for me, reminiscent almost of 30s movies and I would recommend it for a memorable evening. When we went it was obviously prom time at a local school. Being a former Brit, this is not an experience I ever had and it was nice to see the formality of the students.Kid-friendliness: This is likely not a place to expect crayons and paper mats to colour in, but well behaved kids seemed welcome. We started with a strong Capital Cosmopolitan and Wedge with Blue Cheese and Smoked Bacon. It was odd bacon but good. Our mains were a Bone-In Ribeye 22 oz medium rare, a Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions/ Wild Mushrooms/ Fig Essence, a Filet Mignon 10 oz medium well, and a Filet Mignon well done with Oscar All steaks were prepared exactly as ordered. The Oscar was so large we couldn't finish all the jumbo lump crab meat. Our sides were Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Creamed Spinach, and Sam's Mashed Potatoes. The mushrooms could've used more flavor. We had a bottle of Terrazas Altos Malbec red wine with our meal. For desert, we had Capital Grille Cheesecake and Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake, and I still can't say which was more delicious. Our waiter, Farokh E, was excellent and made our experience perfect. Expensive but highly recommended.“

I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

My sister and I weren't drinking, so they let us take the bottle of wine home. I had the meatballs to start, followed by the gnocchi gorgonzola and finished off with a tiramisu. The portion sizes were great, given that we got it on a special deal. I even had leftovers to bring home. The food didn't really blow me away though. Would I come back to try other items on the menu? The service, family style, is exactly what we expected. And the server was friendly and helpful. The Gỏi Tôm Xoài (Prawn and Mango Salad) was perfectly balanced even though the mango, obviously, wasn't from a local tree (;-)). The Bánh Bèo Chén also had that flavorful balance (Water Fern Dumplings--no mango there). The special, Bánh Xéo Miên Trung (Shaken Beef) was outstanding, with beef more tender than we ever found in Vietnam and the tangy sauce simply mouthwatering. The unexpected stunner was the Dâu Hu Xào Xã (Lemongrass Tofu). Despite tofu's role as a bland protein base, the flavors really carried it. We'll be back whenever we get to Philly!“

Lobster Mac on the other hand is alright, the pasta they used is quite unique but flavor wise is just okay, and not a huge fan of the breadcrumbs on top.“
