“Promising start. Arugula prosciutto flatbread good. Fish Tacos, awesome. Pork ribs average. 2 Braised ribs ordered on the table were terribly salty and ruined the dish. The accompanying beat latke was overcooked and a greasy sponge. First time ever I had flat sliced Mushrooms that were impossible to cut with a dinner knife. Burger was ok. Pistachio olive cake with vanilla ice cream really good. One time visit place.“

“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“

“I ran in to pick up takeout for after soccer. I did not want to leave! I wanted my husband to join me from Jersey! We are definitely coming back. Angel, the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The place was romantic and cool and chill all at the same time I did not catch the name of the performer tonight (Monday 3/18), but he was playing Classics adding to the atmosphere : Ring of Fire, Wagon Wheel, I’m on Fire.“

“A little bit of magic! Ledarach was an incredible restaurant piano bar with impeccable service, incredible food and beautiful decor. Bianca (owner's daughter) was our waitress and she was awesome. The team there from the top and throughout are pleasant, accommodating and help to create a relaxed environment. The patrons are the same. “I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“

“Tucked away within Downtown Manayunk is the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) Pop-up Garden. There was a Dried Flower Wreath making class that I attended and when I arrived, everything was set up nicely.There are QR Codes on the tables through Toast Take out system. I ordered a drink while I waited for the event to take place. After 10 minutes I ordered fried cheese curd with cherry pepper aioli. This code just places everything on a tab. So cool!The event took place for 1.5 hours and at the end it was a fun night. The environment is so cool with a repurposed warehouse and a beautiful beer garden with lovely greenery everywhere. It's my thing!!After the event I ordered the Jamestown burger with cheese and bacon and their fun Sidewinder fries. Nom nom. That was a delicious, juicy burger with a fresh potato roll. The Negroni and The High Tide, with elijah craig bourbon, green tea syrup, fever tree lemon tonic. Make sure you get that.“

“Our first experience here, popping in on a rainy Saturday evening. Despite the warm, welcoming interior, the first thing we noticed was how loud the restaurant was. Full capacity with a crowded bar does not need loud music playing! It was exceedingly difficult having a conversation with my partner, we actually gave up and people watched.Food was great! We enjoyed our bacon wrapped figs and goat cheese appetizers. The Tips & Shrimp and short rib pasta entrees were great as were the house-made beignets.The awesome hostess was as doing quadruple duty as Villanova students are one Spring break. “I am the traveler. The Black Horse is a local watering hole. Clientele is very diverse and changes through the day. Very busy for sport games and very good pool players, which is perfect if you want a respectable game. The food is very good and cooked to order. And you the pricing is great. The bathroom is clean. The hostess couldn’t tell me how long the wait was going to be, not even an estimate. In the end she told us about 30-40 min and they would call us. We never got a call so we went in to ask and there was still no seating. Other than that, the place is really cute. Everyone was super nice. I would definitely go again.“

Service was good. The draft beer was room temp, but my next bottle was nice cold. Overall is was a good night.“

There is also a shared lot connected to the building that can get packed depending on what's happening in town. There are other lots in town, but a short walk may be required.“

The food was amazing and delicious, well presented and cooked perfectly. We had oysters, the Roka beet salad, langoustines, lamb chops and greek cheesecake. It was an incredible meal. It is a beautiful place, however the high level of noise made it difficult initially to have a conversation. Our reservation was for 7:15. By 8:15, several tables had finished their meal and left making it much more enjoyable to have a conversation. We will be back!“

“We went to Gypsy Blu in Ambler after googling "best restaurant in Ambler" and this popped up first. Well it over - delivered. The food and drinks were superb. We began with a flatbread with carmelized onions, fig jam, balsamic, feta cheese, arugula. Amazing. In parallel, I had the Rum Me Over drink and my husband had the Spice on Ice Old Fashioned. Both superb. We had a late lunch so dinner was only French Onion Soup and one of the best I have found. My husband had the Mushroom Risotto. Our server Ryan was perfect. Right level of help, there when we needed him, thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. Add to that humble and fun. A catch for the ladies too. We also had the manager Chris make sure we were doing fine. It's always a nice touch that an extremely busy manager spends a few minutes to make sure your night is great. We highly recommend Gypsy Blu in Ambler. We look forward to going again. Also, they have quite an event space and speakeasy we would love to use sometime as well. Don't miss asking about it if you need a space.“

The historic building has caught my attention for many years, and I’m glad to see how beautifully maintained it is, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, with a creative menu that appears to evolve over time, and the pizzas were especially good. It was fairly quiet on a late Monday afternoon, but the service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Don’t skip dessert!!“

“On Thursday, I took my daughter to Revolution to celebrate her good grades. The food, as usual, was outstanding. However, it was our server, Lillian, that was star. She absolutely spoiled my daughter, was SO SWEET with her, and even personally made hot chocolate and a shirley temple for Lola. Lillian’s impression was so profound that I will never be able to forget tonight. I’m a grown man and Lillian’s kindness almost had me in tears and was just left speechless. “Came here for restaurant week and the food was really good! The portions were large, staff were really nice and the atmosphere was chill- felt like we were at someone’s house. The frittatine was amazing- fried perfectly, pasta mixed with the cheese sauce and peas was delicious! The sauce on the side took it to the next level. Calamari was fresh, not too chewy. I loved the two sauces and that pickled salad on the side was perfection! Braised short rib was super tender. Asparagus was good but carrots were a bit overcooked. Spicy rigatoni vodka needed a lot of extra salt. And the budino was a great way to end the meal. We also got the white truffle garlic bread. The pieces were huge, and I wish the ricotta was on the side and had more truffle. But it was still very good.“
