“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

“This place was great! We all ordered different things and tried them all and everything was stellar in their own unique way. I will say the pork belly app was a little bit on the drier side..not my favorite but the sauces were good. Id also say if youre looking for Thai I wouldn't necessarily say they had a lot of Thai options...other than curry sauces nothing really scream classic Thai dishes- BUT BUT the food nonetheless was still incredible- I got tvr crispy shrimp and I dont think I could have eaten it any faster, and the lamb was really good, what really took the cake for me was the 17 ingredient salad they had- it was such a unique and interesting flavor. Our server was phenomenal, and they were very attentive and nice! 1000% recommend dining outside its BEAUTIFUL“

This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Pittsburgh has a lot of great restaurants, but very few Puerto Rican restaurants. Secretos De Mis Abuelos far exceeded my expectations. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. I wish these folks nothing but success, and I am looking forward to my next visit already - to Puerto Rico and SDMA. 🇵🇷“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“I moved out of Pittsburgh and the only thing I miss is Thai Gourmet. It is a treasure and not only the best Thai food in Pittsburgh but the best overall food of all foods. I dream about this place. “Very nice Mediterranean restaurant. I visited this place on the day before Mother’s Day, and it was surprisingly not super packed. It’s got a nice location on the central road in Squirrel Hill, but it’s a bit hard to find parking. When I got there, I got to try their shish tawouk (chicken kabob), mujadara, salad with feta, and iced mint tea.

The tea was pretty alright. Refreshing and a nice mint flavor; I think they might make the blend in house. They also brought out some nice pita before we started the meal.

For my main course, I ordered the shish tawouk. You usually get this meal with the rice pilaf, but they were out, so I got to try the mujadara. I’m actually quite glad! The chicken was tender, and the portion was very fair. They served it with a nice tomato sauce, but I also asked for some garlic sauce on the side. The sauces both seem to be homemade, and definitely go well with the chicken.

The mujadara was surprisingly delicious. They top the dish with crispy sweet onions. It’s a mix of lentils and some other grain. Very good!

One thing to mention generally is this place closes quite early, usually around 8 or 8:30 PM, so do keep it in mind. It is also very clearly a family endeavor, with the mom managing most of the tables and the kids always helping out. Very nice place!“

“We were in town for a baseball tournament and we ordered pizza and wings. Let me tell something. I have tried wings from just about every place I go to and these wings were easily top 3 all time. “Hello Green Berry!! I am just spreading positivity today! Your last review from Jon (blueberry juice man) has actually happened to multiple juice bars this morning. He is calling every juice bar in the area and then leaving 2-3 star reviews once he finds out that they don't offer straight blueberry juice (You would think at some point he would realize there is probably a reason every juice bar is telling him the same thing).

I own a similar business and also got the negative review and have taken it upon myself to counteract his bizarre behavior with something more positive!

I have never been to Green Berry but next time I am in Irwin, I will be sure to stop! Keep doing great things!“
