“I love this place! Food is delicious and cooked fresh and fast at a very good price for the amount they give! Plenty of food for a good cost. They have a wide range of items on their menu, which I love how the names are all car themed as well! Staff is very friendly! Inside is super cool they have vintage car stuff everywhere, not too many places around like this anymore! Definitely going to be coming here more often! If you’re into cars at all like I am you definitely won’t regret trying this place out!“
“Holyyyyy smokes!!!! Is all I can say.Whoever the cooks are, KNOW what they’re doing!! Was worth every penny we spent. Was $46 for two adults and our 2 year old and it was worth every penny! My kiddo loved the burger and friesThe hot wings were delicious, crispy and fresh! The Philly was ?????? and the ol fry burger (I think that’s the name) was BOMB!!!Thank you guys.“
“I got the buffalo mac and can easily say it was definitely one of the best ones I've had. Food here is absolutely delicious, just wish it had more seating. With "pub" in the name I was expecting more of an actual pub vibe. Just be prepared it may be cramped or you may need to take it to go.“
“This is one of the best Sub Shops in Pittsburgh, it named one of it's sandwiches after a hometown Football player, the only thing I think would make this place better is if they served Pepsi Products instead of Coke Products especially since this is a Pittsburgh restaurant and Pittsburgh is a Pepsi “
“First time there. Girl was very helpful in ordering. We both ordered the cheese steak. Plenty of perfectly cooked meat. The bread and toppings were fresh. We highly recommend this place. The ladies working there today were very friendly!!!!“
“I thought it might be closed, but pulled in anyway. You order and pick up at a window so no dine-in. Service was prompt and the sandwiches were delicious. The polite young man even brought them out to the car. I would highly recommend if you are looking for to-go subs.“
“This was my first time visiting Penn StationEast Coast Subs in Gibsonia. I was pleasantly pleased with my dining experience. There was adequate parking. I was immediately greeted upon entry. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were well stocked. The staff were friendly and professional. They seemed to work very well with eachother. The menu had a variety of options. I feel the sandwich could have had a bit more meat for the price but it tasted delicious! The prices did seem comparable to the other local eateries that are around. I will definitely return again for another belly satisfying sub!“
“They make really good sandwiches. I had the Italian sub. The bread was soft and chewy and the fillings were tasty. I will probably go extra meat next time just because it tasted so good. My wife had the fish sandwich. This was no little fish sandwich! The filet of fish hung out a good 3 inches in each side of the bun. It's a plain sandwich with just the fish, but it was light and flakey (you can add cheese, tartar or ketchup. I would definitely recommend it.“
“Last night, after a few hours of running around shopping as a family, the kids wanted McDonald's yet again. Mom and Dad just couldn't stand to stomach another fried fast food meal. So we got the kids what they wanted since they were good and well-behaved, and booked it up the hill from the Waterfront to Jersey Mike's. We arrived about 5 minutes before closing time. Not ideal for an employee that is trying to clean-up the kitchen and store and get home on a Friday night. However the two gentleman working last night on 3/15/24, made sure that we had a delicious Jersey Mike's sub to eat. The young man making the subs could've easily slopped something together for us, but he took the time and care to craft us a quality product that we appreciated and enjoyed. I just wanted to give the two workers a shout out for making our night and truly exemplifying the slogan we see on ads for Jersey Mike's and making it a Sub Above!Thank You!“
“Coworker recommended this spot to me and I'm happy he did as I probably wouldn't have went there on my own with it being a chain. Friendly staff and good subs every time I go there. I don't understand the price with the large sub though. Small sub is 6 inches $7.29 Reg sub is 9 inches and $10.49 ($3.20 more for three inches, cool) Large sub is 12 inches and $13.99(Those 3 inches now cost $3.50, huh?)It talks me out of getting the large every time.“
“Food was delicious as always. Service was on point to make sure it was made the way we wanted. Atmosphere cannot really be controlled as it is in the food court. So worth it though!!Kid-friendliness: There are options for children and the fries are not served scorching hot.“
“Unlike the subway in Cheswick this one said they were only open till 8 but I tried it anyway the door says they're open till 9 it was 8:45 I knocked the kid let me in and he made me my food and was very nice about it didn't give me no problems as far as I'm concerned you should be the only Subway open here close the one in Cheswick down they suck this one's great“
“Dope little spot in Lawrenceville. Still owned by Cinderlands but rebranded. This menu is definitely better than the previous. Both beers tried were tasty. Also had the Kitchen Sink salad, which was a very generous portion and had lots of meat for $10. The Italian dressing is heavy on the red wine vinegar but otherwise tasty. Tots were just average. LTO burger was delicious as well as the pasta salad. Prices are reasonable.“
“Amazing staff/Cooks, friendly great Vibes. My "Veggie Sub" was made with "Culinary Love". A delicious plus are the fresh made Cannolis.Vegetarian options: "Plant-based & Veggie Sub" Deliciously seasoned well with culinary love".“
“Tried this place out because Pat Mcafee talks about it being good. Me and my wife tried and we both liked it. We liked the Rudy’s in Monroeville slightly better however this location was a lot cleaner and staff was nice. Would definitely come back when in the “
“I'm not typically one to do reviews for chain fast food restaurants but i just need people to know how great this location is. The service is always amazing, the food is always fresh and most importantly the place is always SO spotless and clean, like i can eat off the floor! (You know what im trying to say). Idk who owns this franchise but on this day and age it's hard to find employees who care, treat them right because your location is clearly doing something right!“
“Wow! What happened? I get times are rough but your staff ! Cashier, majority of her language had the "F" word every other word. (Loudly)Especially talking about her child. Sad, sad, sad ! Dude in the back cooking, while we eat in your booths. Described a toy shooting pellets the liquid inside of it look like what would be dirty diaper! He described it multiple times so that we made sure we knew what he was talking about. Don't want to forget to tell you about I witnessing the vaping in the kitchen! I get it your going for the dive feeling. Never coming back just lost our business.“
“Having moved away, it's been thirty ish years since I last had a Primanti bros sandwich, and it's still as tasty as ever. Sure, slaw and fries in the sandwich may seem a little gimmicky, but it goes together well and you can see how it would have been convenient for workers/drivers in the strip district.Anyway, it's a busy sports bar. And a bit of Pittsburgh history, though you might not be able to tell since they're busy selling sandwiches and aren't trading on their local fame. Maybe the original shop in the strip district will have more memorabilia type of stuff. The Oakland one doesn't... And doesn't have room for it. IIRC the Oakland location was their first expansion out of the strip district. Now they have many locations in the greater Pittsburgh area.“
“Vibes were so good. Went with my boyfriend & his dad (who was visiting from Serbia) & our group was 12 people - so quite a bit. We never needed anything. They had Bell’s beer which was badass because I had previously visited the brewery a while back. If I lived in that area I’d be there all the time. Amazing deals & food. I could decide between the Rueben & a burger so I got Rueben fries & the burger. Amazing. My “father in law” couldn’t stop taking pictures“
“A Must-Try Spot in Pittsburgh!I recently had the pleasure of visiting Primanti Brothers during my first trip to Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere at Primanti Brothers is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family. But let's talk about the food – it's out of this world! I tried their famous Reuben Sandwich on Rye, and it blew my mind. Picture this: grilled meat, melted cheese, coleslaw, tomato slices, and French fries all sandwiched between two thick slices of Italian bread. It's a flavor explosion with every bite! What I love most about Primanti Brothers is the authenticity of their dishes. Each bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell that they take pride in using quality ingredients. Plus, the portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry.I also want to give a special shout-out to my bartender (I didn't catch her name, unfortunately). She provided top-notch service, always with a smile and great recommendations. Her friendly demeanor really added to the overall experience. If you're visiting Pittsburgh or even if you're a local looking for a delicious meal, do yourself a favor and stop by Primanti Brothers. Trust me, you won't regret it!“
“I usually don’t leave reviews but the customer service was so good! Some homeless man tried to come and ask for my food as I was ringing out … the employees put him in check! On top of them toasting my Italian BMT perfect I had to sit down and dine-in! With everything else being closed they open early just perfect for a early lunch snack!“
“We frequently visit JM in Harmar mostly due to our kids love of the food. Always great service and recently they were short staffed and manager Ernie, maintained so much calm, and composure while being slightly backed up with orders. Hopefully management/ownership recognizes the work he and his team are doing!“
“For years I had longed to take on the RoethlisBurger, but Peppi's hours aren't the most convenient for me. That is until a Saturday evening at Altar Bar with Icarus Witch and Kamelot caused Kay and I to track down dinner in the Strip District. And there it was, Peppi's. And they were...open?"Yeah, 'til 8PM," a guy behind the counter said."But the sign says...""Oh, ignore that. What'll it be, man?"Kay was frightened of the RoethlisBurger, so when I ordered it, she ran to The Clown across the street. After the fellow took my order, I was given a ticket, and was told to sit down and relax. As I waited, I took in the surroundings, gazing at the sports memorabilia and photos of patrons both ordinary and famous.Just as hunger pangs assailed my belly, there it was, enveloped in a paper plate in front of me: A homonculous of loose meat a la Maid-Rite gone malevolent. Ground beef, hot sausage, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, scrambled eggs, and 'Merican cheese were all packed into a bread that was as flaxen as a Valkyrie and as airy as the morning mist. Upon doing some research I've found that it is called a Portuguese Roll, and it is pulchritudinous. This behemoth of a breakfast sandwich dazzled my tongue with its spice, filled my stomach amply with its bulky, chunky proteins, and soothed me with its fresh, fundamental vegetables, all of it held together with that amazing roll of rolls that threatens to make Italian bread passe via its sublime texture alone.'Tis the greatest sloppy joe to ever emerge from a steaming flattop.P.S. I found nothing "shabby" or "greasy" or "dirty" or "loud" about Peppi's. The service was friendly, the restaurant itself was clean, the atmosphere was quiet, and the sandwich was triumphant. If Primanti Brothers has a true parallel, it is Peppi's.One half of a Roethlis-Burger. I ate the first half and realized I didn't snap a pic.“
“I grew up in Hampton Township and remember when this location used to be a Wendy's as many local Hamptonites would remember. How things have improved and I'm sure in a way that many Pittsburghers wish had happened 24 Years ago! Great location in a renovated building and despite the newer Primanti Brothers being installed around Pittsburgh; This Primanti Brothers in my opinion still serves as the best facility for Sports watching and hanging out bar-none as far as Primanti Brothers go with that one exception for the Strip District location which remains a special place in any Pittsburghers heart.Great location. Great view while eating. Great atmosphere and great food.Live Music would be a nice tough in the Summer.“
“Right next to Walgreens as u come off the Homestead High Level Bridge. Service was Excellent. Nice young guy waited on me and he was super friendly and knew his job. I was a manager at a Subway years ago and I would have hired 20 of him! Hey Management: He'sDefinitely out to win new customers and I Definitely will be making that my new Subway! And my home actually has a Subway/Board game night when we spend time away from cellular/internet and have good old fashioned fun. Try it ppl... it became a life changing experience in our home. And add Subway to it!? ?Vegetarian options: I had my veggie sandwich which I absolutely love. Not a vegetarian but for a healthy light lunch, theirs are fresh and plentiful. Delicious“
“We love coming here to the Jersey Mike's! There are lots of restaurants on the strip, but this is our favorite family place. They have a good spot for us all to sit and eat together as well. There are six of us. The staff is always so friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. Lately I have been getting a chicken bacon ranch. It is one of my new favorites! I often get steak, but I've been liking the chicken lately. The rest of the family gets a variety of cheesesteaks and cold cuts. We also like the chips selection. There are lots of different kinds we enjoyed getting. I have noticed that the bathrooms are always very clean. We appreciate that! Thank you for providing a great environment for us to come and get away for dinner!“
“The food here is soooo good. I've had their subs and steak salad. The only complaint that I have is the wait, but I learned to order ahead. The cost is worth the amount that you got. The vibe in the restaurant is nice also. It's definitely a good place to grab a bite for lunch.“
“Went here on Christmas Eve with my family,The place was phenomenal!!The Employees where great,Top notch customer service Food was great.I cannot give enough praises. My only regret is I didn’t bring more money so I could’ve left a big ole tip.10/10 Keep up the great work!Parking: Plentiful room for parkingKid-friendliness: Wished me and my family a merry Christmas! (Including my young child)“
“I just got the Fish Fry food and let me tell you!!!! The fish sammich with lettuce and American cheese was awesome but then I ate the Haluski and that was made with some love! Homemade noodles, just the right dose of butter! The crab cakes are excellent. Every Friday fish from here.“
“The employees here are so friendly. I think the cheese steak sandwich is one of the best for the price and convenience. Just writing this makes me want one right now . I think the yellow peppers are better than bell peppers. Cheese, steak and yellow peppers that's it nothing else needed!! Just give it a try!“
“I go to this Bob’s Sun location once almost every week. I’m usually ordering for pickup. This is my experience:I call them when I’m ready to place my lunch order, usually between 11am and 1pm depending on the day. The staff member on the phone asks when I would like to pick up the subs. I usually tell them 20-30 minutes, though they have offered faster or longer before. They are very flexible. They are always very friendly and always read my order back to me to make sure they got everything and to clear up any questions. I’m usually ordering the same thing, I only have 2 sandwiches I usually switch between, and my father, who orders with me, always get exactly the same thing. When we arrive if there is no line they usually have my order waiting on the back counter, and I can check out with a tap of my card in under a minute. Very efficient, very friendly service, which is always much appreciated!Next, the atmosphere is not my personal favorite; it has a college town sub shop feel (precisely what they are going for, so 10/10 on execution) but it just doesn’t really do it for me. That said, there are plenty of tables inside to dine in if you choose, and there is usually something sports related in the TV. So if you need somewhere to take a break for lunch, they have you covered. The dining area is always clean and tidy, even when they are very busy.As for the sandwiches (which are my usual fare) they are likely the best sub shop for 5 miles in every direction (besides other bobs locations of course!). The sandwiches are made on Cellone’s sub rolls, which is one of my favorite breads. The toppings to bread ratio is always spot on, and the bread is hearty, so it doesn’t turn into a sopping wet mess right away like some places. If you are ordering takeout, I recommend getting the mayo/dressing on the side, it will help keep that bread fresh and dry. I’m pretty sure they make their Mayo and dressing in house, and they are very delicious! My go to subs are #2 Spicy Italian and #6 Classic ham and Turkey. Altogether, these subs will knock your socks off, and I recommend them to everyone!Parking: About 4-6 spots in front and maybe 6-8 in the back depending on traffic for other businesses. I have also seen people park across the side street in the Auto Parts store parking lots it’s maybe 50 feet from the door, too.“
“I was in on June 9th, 2022 and was waited on by a lovely woman named Carissa. I was unsure on what to order and she gave great recommendations on what sandwich to order. She suggested the chicken and bacon ranch, which was amazing. I never buy chips or a drink either but she was able to sell me on those too. If she’s not manager yet she needs to be. Stellar service!“
“We haven't been to this location in years. Came in this Sunday and it was busy. (A large group of 6 or 7 adults plus kids before us, and another one after us.) Only one person working. I think his nametag said "Twig" which was unusual, but the food prep area was clean, he was quick and professional and I even saw him change his gloves. When the sub he was making for me got a bit wet he took the time to wrap it again in a new paper which I appreciated. (We were taking the subs hiking.) Totally solid experience from a rockstar and I hope management of the store appreciates what a great employee they've got. We were having a rough day so having a good experience for lunch turned it around. We'll be back.“
“I recently visited bobs subs while away from home for work. I was blown away by the great atmosphere, amazing steak and cheese, and excellent customer service. The ambiance was welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive. The steak and cheese sub was simply outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors and high-quality ingredients. I can't wait to return for another satisfying meal. Definitely a top-notch spot for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.“
“Best kept secret in Pittsburgh! The soup of the day, is ALWAYS delicious, made fresh daily, and from scratch might I add. The view is breathtaking whether it's summer, winter or fall. You get a view of the Southside and Allegheny. In the summer they offer out door seating, with umbrellas to block enough Sun to make it a comfortable choice. My recommendations are: *the stuffed green pepper soup *the roasted red pepper soup *the Greek salad with grilled chicken *the Portobello sandwich *the Italian sandwich *the buffalo wrap is the MOST popular item on the menu and *the roast beef and gorgonzola wrap is my absolute favorite! Cheers!“
“Went to this store tonight. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. The bottom part of the bun was super soggy with the juice from the meat, onions, etc. I brought it back up to the counter and asked them to transfer the ingredients on the sandwich to a new bun. Problem solved. The young man that took my order and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name, insisted on making me a new sandwich. I told him that was completely unnecessary but he insisted and they made me a whole new sandwich. These days it’s hard to find good customer service, especially from younger employees (yes, I said it and there are plenty of business owners that would agree with me). Kudos to the young man taking orders tonight and making things right!“
“Have you ever had a sub sandwich where the meat never makes it to the ends? At least at this Subway every bite it equally distributed so I don't have to open up my sandwich and move things around lol. Friendly employees and always builds my subs right.“
“Their service is Wonderful! You are Greeted with a smile. And the food is Absolutely Delicious!Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces located in the back of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: And there are plenty of tables inside the restaurant for family to enjoy a great meal.“
“The strip to Subway was a very good experience. There was only one person in front of us so we didn't have to wait in line long and the food was delicious. The folks working behind the counter I'll send friendly and in pretty good spirits which reflects in the experience“
“Love this place better then there competition fresh hoagies at a great price and the ice tea is amazing the service also was amazing the people who waited on me were kind and friendly.... The guy let me take some extra fresh ice tea which I honestly love me some fresh ice tea.“
“We love this Subway for the service and fresh ingredients. We live behind Monroeville Mall and pass 2 other Subways to go to the one on Broadway Blvd at Haymaker Village. It has always been worth it for us to take the time to travel there to get a consistently satisfying final product. Our orders have always been as ordered and ready or made quickly! My husband and I applaud the workers there for being courteous and friendly. A much added plus they accept promo codes on the APP and also coupons. We appreciate them and hope to keep them in business. We leave a tip and say Thank You also. Hope this helps to keep the doors open for us and other grateful customers“
“Food was good, no complaints. They would not take coupons good "threw today" said they expire the day before the end date, not the end date itself. So, that was upsetting. However, the employees were nice and we ordered sandwiches anyway. The steak teriyaki is very good. Not much sauce, so not "drippy"“
“This is the best subway I have been to in Pittsburgh. It is the cleanest one with the nicestt staff. During the pandemic everyone wrote masks. They even insisted customers wear them. I go there a couple times a months and they always have what I want. I can't recommend this place enough“
“I always live stopping by Uncle Sam' Subs. Whether in Squirrel Hill or Robinson, the food is always good. I don't know if they bake their own bread or not, but you could put Shoe Leather on their buns and it would taste good.Always a winner.I did notice that the fries seemed a bit thicker than I remember from last visit but my vote is to stick with the thinner fries - they hold up better as lunch goes on.“
“Was in town for the Pens game. Not being from the area I knew I had to try Primanti’s. The food was pretty good and the service was good. The Steelers were away and the college kids were on break so we didn’t get the whole experience of Carson “
“If you like all the extras that go in to a hoagie besides the main ingredient then the consistent quality of a Subway is a good choice. I don't know if all the subways dropped their daily special on the 12-in sub in favor of a special on a 6-in with a drink and chips. I preferred the 12-in sub with water.“
“Great. Stupid that Subway changed $5 foot longs to $4.99. Subway will loose millions of pennies a day because of this and you cannot write an ad campaign around a $4.99 foot long sub.. There is no "jingle" of melody in that. I don't understand.“
“First time at a Subway since they "refreshed". It was a Monday early evening and we got our food to go. I like being the only one in a Subway line as that system, I feel, when there is a line, tends to slow down getting your meal. Although I have been in a situation where there were more than one worker moving the line that did help. I had a simple turkey footling with veggies. Everything looked and tasted more fresh. I enjoyed.“
