“It’s Valentines Day and my partner stopped by Sheba’s to pick up our dinner and my my my, this food is delicious. It was still when we he got home with my BBQ Salmon with rice and beans, greens and candied yams.Everything individually has flavor. The rice is cooked just rice; not mushy or crunchy. Great portion size of salmon and not drowning in sauce. The greens seasoned and not spicy. I have had greens from other restaurants where they make the greens spicy. It was a pleasant surprise not to have a “kick” to my greens.The candied yams were nice and soft and now drowning in syrup. Just the way I like it.I look forward to trying something else on the menu.“
“So happy to see one of my favorite food trucks is back! Food still slaps after all these years. Love the chicken katsu, which is so crispy and juicy, and I enjoyed a delicious platter today. You can choose tacos, burrito, platter or a burger for the protein options. The peanut curry chicken over rice is also phenomenal but only available on Monday and Tuesday. I’ll be back soon for that plus some shrimp katsu. The folks on the truck couldn’t be nicer!“
“I was traveling from NJ and got a meal for myself and the family. The chicken was very tender and extremely flavorful. The rice was also very fragrant and fresh. The portion size was also generous. I really liked the taste. I also tried lamb gyro and that was also very delicious. Everyone loved it.“
“A gem! Got mixed veg with shrimp (and gravy) and boy did that exceed my expectations for $7. Chicken platters are $6. Super tasty, CHEAP, and the lo-mien is better than the brick-and-mortar restaurants around here to me.Cart is just about at 6th and Sansom, so if you work around here, you need to try it for lunch one day!“
“Just so that you know it is a street cart and not a brick and mortar place. This kind of places remind me my old days when I used to work in one of this during my master in NJ. Food was ok and prices are always reasonable in such a cart. Chicken could have been more chopped and juicy. Overall it was a decent lunch.“
“This place was great. Employees were great and really nice and the ribs were incredible. The potato wedges and the Mac n cheese was great. I have never loved a restaurant so much when it was my first time ever having it. I love this place so much.Kid-friendliness: The employees were really nice so they would be really good with kids.“
“Legit best food cart I've ever had. Far superior to NYC famous carts which have long since lost their luster. The chicken is marinated in a smoky cumin/coriander based masala which never fails to satisfy. I usually get chicken or chicken + lamb over rice. Both the white and red sauces are an excellent accompaniment. Bonus, ask for chickpeas if they have them!“
“The food is amazing and the salad is super fresh. I’m not a big fan of fish but the fish here is great. The prices are amazing and the bev is included with your meal. The guys that work it are super friendly and greet me with “brother!” even if I am just walking to by to ALDIs.“
“I hadn’t had salt pepper spare ribs（椒盐排骨）cooked this way for a long time so I was very happy.I am still giving 5 stars because I personally didn’t care too much. But I noticed a small piece of plastic (from a plastic bag or something like that) in the rice. I guess this happens when you have a small kitchen on a truck.“
“I have been to my fair share of Halal trucks in Philly. This has proven to be my favorite. Some would claim they are all the same but the consistent quality of this location is what puts it above the rest. Comb over rice, extra red sauce. At least once a week.“
