“One of my favorite omakase spots in Philly!
My favorite from my course was Gindara(miso cod) with pumpkin sauce which tasted like Japanese pumpkin and they matched so well, also the akami (tuna red meat) tasted super fresh! Every other fish were fresh and loved the way they prepared everything! Chefs were also very nice and fun to chat with!“

“We got there for an early dinner Saturday afternoon and immediately got a table. We put orders in and we’re fast served. The food was very delicious and well done. Good presentation, the server was very professional, ambient was clean and a pleasant music in the back. Good location on Drexel Campus. Easy to park on the streets.“

“We happened upon this gem purely by chance. We had an amazing meal from A-Z (!!!) The sushi is phenomenal; sit at the newly designed sushi bar in the back and enjoy unique daily catches that come in through the connections the owner has with local fishermen. The restaurant is also known for their aged steaks, and Kobe prime rib, which we will try next time. I had the miso black bass and it was one of the best flavors with fish I have ever had. The broth had such a delicate shiitake mushroom flavor, which I loved. I literally couldn’t have had enough of this delicate, delicious dish. I could have had two orders and eaten it all! I think this dish epitomizes what the word UMAMI means. I also had the sautéed mushroom extravaganza, a treat for every taste bud of incredible flavors melted with a delicate sauce. My husband had their unique collection of sushi and sashimi choices that were all enjoyed at their stunningly beautiful sushi bar, complete with two young, passionate chefs who love what they do, and treasure their personal designs of the fish and rolls. All the rolls are presented in this great wooden cradle design, which I thought was so unique and functional. The owner was all smiles and genuinely happy to have had us try his new restaurant. I recommend it highly for either an exceptional steak meal (all are btw, so reasonably priced so order them for sure), or the traditional sushi. You won’t be disappointed. This will be our weekly go-to restaurant and we are counting the days until we will return, which actually will be next Tuesday the 9th! “Delicious! My husband and I just had some of the most amazing sushi we've ever tasted. The edamame was perfectly cooked, the miso soup was flavorful with tender seaweed, and the wasabi was real wasabi“

At $27, I got 3 rolls, 6 pieces of sushi, an avocado,fish,rice salad, and edamame. 3 rolls at this quality is typically around $20 alone so I’m not sure what the bad reviews about price and quality are. Funny enough, this is actually the best quality sushi you will find in UCity, and it’s takeout.“

“Got sushi which was alright and the wagyu beef yaki udon and chicken yaki udon. The wagyu beef yaki udon was really good, I wish there were more pieces, the chicken was plentiful but I personally didn’t like it was much as the beef. The udon itself was bomb in both the dishes.“

“This is such a lovely nice spot! My wife and I would order from them all of the time! The fish is always nice and fresh. My wife is Japanese and even she always found their sushi tasty! The owners are also always incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!“

“Great quality and amazing customer service. Definitely our go-to sushi spot. We used to live around the corner from it and now we are further and still make the trip to eat here. The place is small and intimate, and the staff are very attentive. For example, I spilled my soy sauce bowl on the table and I hadn’t even picked up the napkin to clean it up when the staff had already placed more napkins on the table.“

“My first time ordering here and the food was fresh and delicious ! The gyoza were crispy , but not greasy and the filling tasted like chicken and onions . The dipping sauce was far too salty ( but it could be because I’m used to low sodium ‘ not sure ) . I will definitely be ordering again - this may just be my new favorite spot :D“
