“Stopped in for the first time after a soccer game. Had seen this place a couple times and never really stopped in. So glad we did excellent cheesesteaks! Food was fresh and hot the lemonade and the milkshakes were fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Location was clean and friendly. They're great fast casual.“

First time I tried something on the menu and did not like it but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time and loved the food and the prices. “I immediately made reservations when I found out they were closing. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is conveniently located. The food is phenomenal, service the best and wine list extensive. The dining room is cozy and comfortable. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine, appetizers and dessert. We both had the salmon. Every thing was delicious. I bought a couple of bottles of wine which they were selling to go. I will miss Mary's Vine. I'm so sorry they had to close. Pittsburgh will be missing a great dining experience.“

“My family's favorite sub shop. 45 minute drive but always worth it. Tried at least a dozen different items now and all were the best. If you have never been there - you really do not know what you are missing - it has no equal. The bread and meats and prep are all unique - a really great place !!“

We came in 12•13 at 3 to get some post shopping snacks. We were greeted by a young lady named Tao who was super friendly and patient when taking our order. Her manager, whose name I did not catch but she was a taller lady with curly hair who put down her previous activity to help Tao make our food, was more than happy to chat with us while we waited and even gave us fresh turn-overs! So good that the line for fresh cut Potato Patch fries could be the longest line you wait in all day.
Potatoes washed, cut, and soaked right in front of you before taking that delicious dip into the fryer. Piled up high in a basket.. and topped with your choosing.
We both opted for bacon cheese fries... and boy, it's almost like fine dining for a yinzer!

“On the evening of Jan 7, 2025 we were hungry travelers coming through Pittsburg on our way home. We headed to chipotle when we saw this little sub station. So happy we stopped here instead! The food was DELICIOUS and the service just as great. The young men greeted us enthusiastically and took good care to make us super tasty subs! The place is clean and fun. We 💯 recommend! The bread is unique but amazing.. soft and chewy on this inside and crispy on the outside- holds all the goodies inside. We could taste every single ingredient - not just a bread sandwich. “There aren't too many of these places left and I'm glad this one in Penn Hills got it together, cause they used to be HORRIBLE. They have improved in a MAJOR way as far as the SERVICE. The past few times I've been in there, the people taking the orders were prompt and polite. Even if they were busy, someone at least acknowledged you. That alone went a long way compared to what it used to be. I'm thankful for the new leadership in that place, it's made a difference. The food is what the food is. Lol. It's still good ole Long John Silver. It's nice, cause it's hasn't taken forever to get the food either. The crew in the kitchen was on it. And heck.... They even have a large type matt on the floor where you order your food, so your not sliding your feet across the floor from all the grease in the air lol ... But I only had 30 letters to work with, so I went with "Happy Birthday Billy and Cupcake" - but I really wished for an exclamation point, so I added this note in the comments section "If you could squeeze an exclamation point as a 31st character onto the cake that would be amazing to "Happy Birthday Billy and Cupcake!" - but if not the cake will still be great, just less enthusiastic. “Lunch rush mishap.
There was a decent amount of patrons when I entered. The crew was noticably busy with online orders and a large line at the counter.
They took my order and asked my name. Guy said someone with same name was ahead of me, so he added "v2" to the end of my name on the ticket.
Well.... I waited.... and waited until I realized people who ordered after me, got their food before me.
Told them I'm still waiting.... They must have given the order away to someone else or couldn't read the ticket properly.

But they corrected the issue in a timely manner.“
